They were absolutely fantastic, thank you Paris, I forget the guys name that was working the bar with Paris, but thank you as well. Thanks to Nikki, MC (forgot her name, but her mom works days), and Bruno. You all did such a great job accommodating my family and myself. As for the food, everything starting with breakfast up until dinner was amazing. Thank you JP for preparing mouthwatering meals. Poor service and waitress was not update on what you can get verses up. Drop catfish on her serving tray and put it on my plate to eat, yes she apologize but did offer to take back to kitchen so I had broken catfish on my plate. ambiance feels upscale but relaxed. like the classic vintage feel with it being set inside a historical hotel. service was fast. Initially I wasn't sure if we picked the right place to c8me to because they didnt have some things on the menu or had to disclose that they had to substitute certain proteins on the menu. However as nothing on the main plates appealed to us so we opted for small bites and so thankful we did! the bread basket was a good variety and came warm with delicious honey butter spread on the side. the lamb chop was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. really glad we got this. though there were only 3 fried green tomatoes on the plate, the outside bready was crispy and tasted really good, the pimento cheese is a perfect compliment! pork belly was flavorful and packed a lot in small bite, rice was a nice balanced. this place surprises me with some of the upscale dishes they have seasonally, will be back to try other stuff. read more

I want to give this place more stars. The star is to recognize the really kind attitudes of the servers. Management here needs a LOT of work to make this someplace we'll ever eat at again. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated. The preserved style of the past are well kept. Unfortunately, some of the ambience is lost when you have laundry coming through the main elevators and waiting area. The racks of dishes were also carter through a crowd waiting to be seated. We thought the sad showing of the breakfast buffet on Thanksgiving morning was a fluke, as the entire staff was focused on the fancy brunch that is open to the community. The hostess even had the nerve to say (with that southern smile, of course), "I probably should have told you we didn't have any seats." WHAT?! As guests, and Hilton Honor members, we were extremely disappointed with breakfast even the following morning when it took well over an hour to not just our food but even a cup of coffee. There were about 3 menu items that ended up being out by the time the server got around to even taking our order. Don't even think about adding anything to your order once it was placed! I blame management completely. One cook for all the orders--about 8 big tables of 5 or more. Again, our servers were apologetic and maintained great attitudes, but it doesn't excuse the ineptitude of operations and lack of care for hotel guests. Such a shame. read more

I dined here for breakfast today while staying at The Partridge Inn. The restaurant is beautiful and boasts an amazing outtakes dining area with plenty of places to sit and enjoy a cocktail or meal. I ate outside and ordered an omelet. The food was delicious but my service was less than average. My server forgot almost everything I asked her for and my water remained empty ever though I asked for a refill several times. I'll start by saying the food is excellent. I had the Chianti Glazed Pork Chop with Roasted Potatoes and Broccolini. It was a generous portion, cooked very nicely and delicious! The decor is comforting and quite pretty. However, one wall near the end of the bar is under repair and looks pretty tacky. The hostess and bartender were very friendly. As for the overall service, it was quite poor. I had a reservation and was told I couldn't be seated for a while because they were busy. I chuckled at this because there were only a handful of tables that had guests. So, I decided to take my chances sitting at the bar. I sat there for nearly 10 minutes before being greeted. This was despite people right next to me being served refills. I ordered a gin and tonic and had to wait more than 5 minutes before getting it. I ordered dinner, which took about 30 minutes to arrive. It did come out hot but I had to wait a few more minutes before anyone brought me silverware. It was hilarious because the person delivering my food handed me a steak knife and I asked her about a fork. She said the bartender would get me a roll up. Midway through dinner and after talking to the folks next to me we both ordered an old fashioned. 10 minutes later, I was served a 2nd gin and tonic and chose not to correct the bartender because I didn't want to wait again. A couple odd things. There was someone behind the bar cleaning glasses but not wearing a uniform. Not sure if he was an employee or just some person making a couple dollars. One of the waitstaff sailed a pushcart into an unused dining area. Basically, pushed it hard and let it zoom off into the room. Very unprofessional in an upscale restaurant. The best part of my experience was chatting with people at the bar. I was fortunate to sit near some very friendly and interesting folks. To sum it up, there are other nice restaurants in town that provide much better service. I do not plan to come back to 8595 until management decides to do a better job. read more

We recently went to 8595 for dinner, and I was pretty disappointed in the experience overall. We got to the restaurant around 7pm and ordered drinks/apps shortly after. It was close to 8pm by the time the drinks arrived. It was also difficult to get our waiter to come refill waters, so many people in our group had empty water glasses for quite awhile. The food was decent but overpriced, in my opinion. When the check came at the end, we realized that a 23% gratuity was already added since we were a party of 7. This is higher than any of us had seen before, especially when considering the lackluster quality of the service. From the very first time I dined at 8595 Restaurant & Bar, I knew I'd be back. And now everytime I visit Augusta, this is my go to spot. We've eaten here for breakfast, lunch, brunch, and 1st Sunday brunch. We have never been disappointed. The hostesses, servers, waitstaff, and chef have always been friendly, bubbly, and courteous. Our food has always been prepared as ordered and served at the proper temperature in a timely manner. The servers are attentive, but they don't hover over you. We've ordered from the menu; and we've enjoyed the buffet. Their first Sunday Brunch is not to be missed. They have all the fixings of a great southern brunch, with several options. For any vegetarian dinners, I've never had any trouble finding multiple choices of tasty dishes. You can tell that the management team takes the time to impress upon their staff the value of true southern hospitality. Kudos! read more

Firstly, I was called 2 hours before my reserved time and told that my party will have to be outside in the freezing cold. I was assured there will be heaters. Unfortunately the heaters kept going out every 5 minutes. It took 30 minutes for us to even be greeted and addressed & all we were served at that time was water, we weren't given a drink menu or asked what we would like to drink. The waiter didn't have an answer for anything we asked. We got our first appetizer after an hour , the deviled eggs tasted like they came out of a bag & it had a pickled taste to it , they were freezing cold. One of my guest ordered a salad and the vinaigrette was the oil from the top of an unshook bottle of salad dressing. Two other guest ordered an alcoholic beverage called the Georgia peach but it had no other flavor besides cheap vodka. Our main entree came 2 hours after sitting down . I ordered the duck and it was bleeding so bad I almost threw up, it wasn't medium it was rare even the waiter said that it wasn't cooked so he took it back. Mostly all others ordered the fried chicken plate and they said the chicken was over seasoned and very salty. The overall experience was the worst I've ever experienced and I'm rarely picky. It's more things that happened but I've said enough. 0/10 I would not recommend this restaurant ever overly priced for the terrible service. It was my daughters birthday and it felt ruined read more

This is the restaurant in the Partridge Inn. The cheapest thing on the menu is $37 all the way up into the 80s so you would expect this to be a top notch experience. What a disappointment starting with the host who wore bright patterned tennis shoes. I was expecting white tablecloth, but instead, plastic placemats. The waitress had on a slouchy pink sweater with her gray undergarment showing through. Not sure why because all other wait staff had on uniforms. After she took our order, we heard the waiter serving the table next to us giving info on 3 specials... our waitress had mentioned none. The menu is heavy on Cajun offerings and seasonings. No soup offering at all. Everything is ala carte so my 3-scallop $44 dinner on risotto had no vegetable or salad. We asked for bread and it finally came when we were about finished eating. Some mediocre guitarist started playing about 7 but they never turned off the Christmas music on the system. We had wine so our bill was $149 for 2...but definitely not worth that.
