Mac N Cheeseburger and Fries
Matthew W.

Came here when we arrived the evening before The Masters. We were happy to see other patrons there and had fun talking with them at the bar. It was busy, but we were served quickly and efficiently, and the staff was very nice. The food was great, we loved the friend pickles and cheese curds. I tried the Mac N Cheeseburger, which was a special for Masters week. It was great as well, I love the creamy Mac n cheese with the crispy Texas toast. I'd for sure come back again!

Second time here and nothing really impressive the food is okay... Service is slow to average... People in our group were given warm bottle beer. By warm I am talking room temperature and this was on a Saturday evening. If someone said the beer came from the warehouse to the truck to the table and bypassed any refrigeration.... I would believe it.

Enjoyable experience, great food, cold drinks, homey as well as friendly staff and patrons.

We haven't been out to eat when we come to Augusta. I chose this place because it was close to the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased by this place. It's nicely put together and very spacious. The vibe is great. The service was top tier our waitress made sure we were well taken of. I had wings and boy oh boy they didn't have those small wings. Flavors were great. I am coming back to Augusta to dine here again.

Egg rolls

First time here & after reading all the recommendations, you better get those egg rolls!! The portions are perfect for sharing, there was only 3 of us but we made a dent in those nachos. Service was decent, our server was friendly. Great place to hang out too it seems like.

On tap lost!

The parking lot looked super packed on a late Saturday afternoon, but we figured we would still try to get in. No wait, and the place did not appear full. The service was very friendly, and the decor was "barish". The food, however, was delicious. We started with drinks - list in the photos. We opted for the Black Cherry Cider, and it did not disappoint. He got the mac n cheese with burnt ends (it could have had a few more pieces included in the dish), but the mac n cheese was rich and creamy, and the ends were tasty. I had the buffalo chicken wrap with a side of mac - it was HOT HOT and good. The only reason I did not give this a five-star review was the restrooms were disgusting - they smelled terrible and needed a good cleaning. I can imagine this place gets pretty busy on sporting days, and on nights, they have live entertainment and are family-friendly in the afternoons and early evenings.

Seafood skillet

Great space with a vacation vibe. We tried the Carolina hot chicken sandwich. Excellent! My husband loved it and kept commenting on how good the coleslaw was. I had the seafood skillet. It was good, but incredibly rich! I asked for some tortilla chips on the side so I could use them to eat the crawfish dip at the bottom of my skillet.

Club sandwich

Good food, oysters were okay (obviously not as good as New England oysters), my club sandwich was fresh and came in big portion. It's more like a sports bar, great place to grab quick lunch and some drinks during the daytime, good atmosphere.

Who doesn't like a good brunch?! Doc's was recommended by a Facebook friend and I went for a birthday brunch with a good friend. The parking lot looked super packed, but there was still open spaces to park further in the rear. Walking into the establishment, there was lots of cheer going in because there was a football game on at the time. I was sat at a table very quickly and my waitress came just seconds later. (I love that) I decided to get the chicken and waffles with the unlimited mimosas. The waffles had a crispy texture and just the right sweetness, the chicken tenders were juicy, seasoned just right and went well with the side of gravy. If you're looking for mimosas, that MIMOSA LIKE BRUNCH MIMOSAS SHOULD, Doc's is the place for you. I tried both the pineapple juice and Orange juice mimosas and they both were a hit. If you like a sweeter mimosa, opt for the orange juice. The food came out quickly and we weren't rushed out like most other places that try to turn over tables quickly. Everything was A+ and this restaurant is now my #1 pick for brunch in Augusta.

Got the grilled chicken & steak, which was solid. The grilled chicken had a great char flavor, while the steak tasted like something you'd eat at a hibachi restaurant. The fried rice wasn't oily or dry, best part was how's the portion was. Got a side of 6 piece gyoza which was meat and vegetable filled; that was also non oily and fried just right. Took about 7-8 minutes for the order to come out which was a fast then around. Plenty of room for dining & facilities were pretty clean. They also have other menu items like bubble teas and ramen. Definitely a diverse menu, will certainly be back.

The atmosphere looks nice, if a tad plain. But some of the tables had to be scooted out to get into the seat and they were heavy on a granite floor so loud screeching accompanied the otherwise silent room. Fast food style service and the annoying receipt signing which fast food shouldn't have was present. Also, the toilet wouldn't flush. All over, I'm not sure it really earned the star I gave it.

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations. Their menu is a southern American fusion for sure, putting unique spins on classic dishes. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. After we finished, I met the owners, and told them how much we truly enjoyed it all. They were very appreciative of my compliments. We would certainly stop by here again.

My fiancée and I looked at the menu and were sold. It was small and simple but all looked great. I made reservations for dinner on Black Friday. The inside and bar area is small, a bit dark yet inviting. Our server was Cassandra. Down to earth and very attentive. She told me that their menu changes. That's a good thing. It's always nice to try different meals. I would describe their menu- Southern American fusion. They serve appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, entrees and dessert. They do have happy hour and specials. We ordered: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola -The drunken goat Spanish cheese -Red Dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad We started off with the charcuterie board and we all enjoyed it. The bacon jam went well with it. Then our entrees came out. My fiancée and I split the beet salad. So good! My dad demolished his plate. He really enjoyed his pork loin with the veggies. My mom raves about the duck pot pie. She's been telling her friends and family all about it. She had extra and took it home. We had a great experience that my fiancée wanted to meet the owner. Sarah was very sweet and nice to talk to. Everyone had a great time and loved the food! I can say we are fans and definitely coming back. Thanks for making our dining experience wonderful. Especially my parents, they hardly go out to eat and loved their meals.

Our waitress was so sweet and friendly, she really made it enjoyable. Definitely recommend the Butter Chicken, I got it medium and it was just the right amount of spice. Before we decided to head to the restaurant I had my wife call for wait times and availability. They made it clear that there wasn't any wait time and we would be seated soon after arriving. We arrived under 10 minutes from the phone call and had 2 parties that had already been waiting in front of us. I don't mind the wait just don't be dishonest when we ask. After 15-20 minutes we are finally seated. It's cozy and intimate location but enough space where you don't feel too close to anyone or can hear their conversations. We got the menus and noticed that there was a price increase of +$5 on EVERYTHING on the menu compared to their website menu. We chose this location with cost, reviews and distance in mind and if they had price increases they need to update their website. Either way we decided to order drinks and entrees at the same time in hopes to speed up the process. Sadly it didn't make a difference, we still waited over half an hour for our food to hit the table. I would've gave more of a pass on the wait time but half the restaurant was already eating and our food came out at the exact same time as 2 other tables. The workflow doesn't look to be efficient. The food was great, bold and packed with tons of flavor. The spice was about where you wanted for a medium level heat and I was very satisfied with it. My wife's dish on the other hand was very spicy for a mild. She's very sensitive to spice but after tasting it myself I believe they added more than what we ordered. The Naan was great, the butter and garlic was very balanced and was the highlight of the meal. The rice wasn't on par with the rest of the meal and wasn't worth the price (more on that later). After we finished we waited 10 or so minutes to get the tab and when we finally did we didn't get an itemized receipt on our meal. We thought it was strange considering that meal ended up being $54 and we knew there was no way it should've been for than $45 or so. They charged us a technology fee which we never had an option to pay cash? They just stuck the tap to pay in front of us.. but the worst part is that they charged $5.50 for medium rice. THERE IS NO LOCAL COMPETITION THAT CHARGES FOR RICE. I've been to other places and haven't had this issue, even in Aiken, SC. If you are going to charge for rice please say so. Transparency isn't their strong suit here and I can't imagine I can justify the cost of going again. To be clear, the staff is very nice and respectful when you talk to them and when they check on you BUT this is a real issue when it comes to customer service. Update your menu prices and be transparent on what you are charging people.
