I really love Applebee's wanton taco appetizer and it is the main reason I come here. My husband and I decided to meet here tonight at 9pm for their 1/2 price appetizers. We were greeted and shown to our table by Ethan, who we found out later was the bartender for tonight. When we were brought to our table, Ethan gave us menus and told us that one of the "girls" would be over to take our order. Girls?? Seriously? Not a waitress but a girl. This bartender seems to have forgotten that it is 2022. I'm sure he wouldn't like it much if people called him "boy" instead of addressing him by name or calling him bartender. I feel Ethan needs a bit more training on how to address his co-workers to customers. I had to ask our waitress what the bartender's name was since he was not wearing a name tag. I was staying in the area during a roadtrip and decided to try the carside to-go option. The ordering process was fairly easy online. There were plenty of carside spots open on the east side of the building but some were taken by vehicles with customers who went inside. I texted "here" using the text check-in option, which was easy and convenient. I ended up waiting a short 5 minutes after my estimated pick up time. I ordered a salad and added blackened shrimp. Also on the order was the bourbon street chicken & shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes. I was told the chicken and shrimp was good and fine. My salad was decent until I bit onto something hard and found a wire bristle included. I was very cautious after that. I am guessing they use a wire bristle brush to clean their grill and it got attached to the blackened shrimp on my salad. I would recommend to be cautious when eating an item that could come from their grill, especially if you bring young children here. You never know if it could include an extra special gift: a wire bristle! read more

We went to Apple bees because it's reliable. Well, this location isn't. We got our appetizer the same time as our entrees. Even though we made sure to tell them we wanted the app first (which is normal in every restaurant). Our waitress appeared confused most of the time. We ordered a beer, she walked by four time. I asked about the beer and she looked around and said it's being made. My food was fine. My husbands burger was not what he ordered and had the wrong cheese on it but we still got charged for the cheese. We had to ask for things multiple times over the course of the meal and hope we would get them. Very disappointed. read more

I met a friend at Applebee's last night (5/8/2025)... I noticed a waitress who looked like her shift was done, but before she was getting ready to leave, she had her little daughter there running up and down the aisles and hiding into the booths playing hide and seek, and being noisy when my friend and I were trying to carry on a conversation... So I proceeded to tell the kid "to be quiet." Before that waitress left for the evening, she "stuck her tongue out at me" (a customer)!!! So before I was ready to pay my bill, I asked to speak to the manager. I told her about the incident and needless to say, I got a FREE meal at Applebee's and a free margarita.... NOBODY STICKS THEIR TONGUE OUT AT ME WHEN I AM THE CUSTOMER!!!!! IF I WAS THE MANAGER, I WOULD FIRE HER ON THE SPOT!!!!! I will never return to the 13th Avenue restaurant again.... And I will tell all my friends and family about the horrible customer service I received there, too, just trying to have a nice dinner with my friend! read more

2020 08-20 I was in Thu evening and had a $9 tab. I wanted to pay with one radio voucher which had $2+ left on it and the rest with one which had $25 on it. Both were non-expired radio station vouchers. The manager said she couldn't deduct the amount from one and then another. Every manager at, not only your store and every other Applebee's in town, but *every* manager at *every* restaurant where I've used these vouchers has done so without *any* problem whatsoever. For 10 years. I was also in the same store 3 days ago and the manager did it no problem.  Also, why is there so much staff/customer touching happening?! A server was kissing and rubbing her boyfriend at the bar while she was working. She then did a circle around the store touching and tapping everything within reach. Inappropriate, and completely unsafe during a pandemic. The manager on duty greeted a customer with several hugs and then went to prepare a large table for his guests of about 8, standing in the doorway not allowing anyone to pass thru with *any* consideration of social distancing. Inconsiderate and completely needless physical contact while representing your business. If this lack of physical distancing is happening in the open, what lack of safety precautions and considerations is going on in the kitchen?! What a disappointing experience. I'll try again in 6 months to see if there has been improvement. read more

Well.. The food was OK... but the quantity you get for the price.. it's not a bad deal. Shrimp platter comes with about twice as much as shrimp you get at most other restaurants for the same price. Not bad at all. During their happy hour, you can get 1/2 priced appetizer. Good deal. This would not be my choice if I have an expense account but it is a good deal when you want a budget dining-out. PS: You don't have to sit at the bar to get Happy hour deal. read more

Not bad for a chainfood joint. Good steaks, wings and ribs... Wish they had better lemonade though. The soda fountain version is way too sweet and not remotely tart enough. The frozen lemonade is better but I don't like brain freezes The menu is varied and prices are reasonable. The desserts are great with mini versions of a couple. I try to avoid chain restaurants like the plague since I've worked in chains, work in one currently and know what they're like (and since virtually all chain restaurants get the majority of their stuff pre-made and frozen, it's a bit of a turn off)... However, my family isn't as "worldly" as I am and are perfectly happy with sitting down at Applebee's. When I'm not the one paying, I can't really complain... I don't do 5 stars often because, to me, there's always something that can be improved. However... The few times I've been to this location, I can honestly say that I have found nothing worth knocking. The food has been good and has landed on the table at the correct temperature (i.e., hot food hot, cold food cold) and the service has been amiable and friendly. If I were Siskel, Ebert or Roeper, I'd give this Applebee's two thumbs up. Keep up the good work! read more

Worst service EVER! We weren't acknowledged for 5 minutes, seated with lunch menus but nobody waited on our table for another 15 minutes. We went to Applebee's because it was nearby and there didn't seem to be a lot of people there. Applebees are usually pretty decent. So sorry we were seated we decided to order the 2 for 26 mask which included an appetizer. I made sure to ask the server to bring the appetizer before the meal and she said she would. When the food came out we received our entrees first. The server seemed a bit rude, by how she put the plates on the table. By we were thinking oh well, thats ok. But where was the appetizer? Then about 15 minutes after we were eating our entree she puts the buffalo chicken wings in the table in the same fashion and walls away. She never comes back and checked on us. Also my French fries were very gross. They tasted like they were sitting for a while. I never got a refill either. When we were leaving we had to find the manager to pay our bill. He said oh your server didn't bring it? Then we saw her standing in the back leaning against the wall. So anyway, besides the fries the food was good. on Saturdays-Sundays you can do a build your own ceasar or bloody mary for 3.50. I added another shot of vodka for 1$. Ceasar was excellent with pickle, olives, jalapenos, slim jim and spice rim. very spicy just the way I like it. The server Ben was excellent. Top notch service. would go again and again. read more

I got lucky one night, I get off early and decided to stop by Applebees for dinner. Now, I ate applebees before, all over California, but not in Fargo. So I decided to stop by the neighborhood grill and check out some stuff that I have been missing. Guess what? I am impressed. My husband and I went in for lunch at this Applebee's on Wednesday, January 30th with his mother. The service was excellent and we had no issues with that. The reason for the 1 star rating is the fact that my husband ended up with food poisoning. He had the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp. He later told me the food's taste was a little off and it came out of the kitchen luke warm. It was a special occasion for his mother so he didn't want to make a fuss. A couple of hours later his stomach started hurting. An hour or so after that the full brunt of it hit him. He was down for over 24 hours with the problems it caused. He is barely back up and running two days later. I will not be going back into Applebee's again. read more

The service was okay, the waiter was friendly enough, but not very attentive. The restaurant itself is very clean and nice looking. But the food is absolutely terrible. My husband's steak was all gristle, he couldn't even eat it. His veggies were supposed to be steamed, but the carrots were still hard. My daughter and I both got steaks that tasted like they'd been stuck in the fridge for a while, then reheated. My baked potato was barely cooked, it was so hard I was unable to eat most of it. It's as if they cared more about rushing the food out (the restaurant wasn't even full) than they did about cooking it properly. My younger daughter received pizza with a soggy crust. I eat here all the time with friends. The service is always consistent, hot food, great servers. I would recommended any Applebee's in the FM area to anyone. Finding a consistence restaurant now-a-days, is next to impossible, so stick with Applebee's! read more
