Saw all the bad reviews . Not today. We had a group of 11 and every single person was more than satisfied. I had a shrimp dish on the specials menu and everyone else sampled a lot of other menu items. Food was perfectly cooked. We had a most wonderful server. Chase is professional and always anticipated our needs. He watched the table and brought refills. I understand a restaurant can have ups and downs but today was delicious. So many menu choices. Got all you can eat appetizers. Took two hours to get 5 small plates. First was 3 small riblets with fries and slaw. Second plate consisted of five small boneless buffalo wing as well as plate three with five small buffalo wings. Plate four was five small honey bbq, and plate five with 6 little breaded shrimp. Ribs were sort of tough, dry and not best flavor. Only ate two of three. Wings were ooor quality but buffalo sauce was good. Shrimp was good but cocktail sauce tasted like strait up ketchup. Slaw was dry. Would say fries was best thing we ate. Server was nice and apologetic about the policy on amount they could bring at a time. If you plan on eating enough to fill you up, plan a three hour tour. Will not be going back. EVER!!! read more

Sat there for over an hour with just one refill, checked with a manager and our meal was just put in 3 minutes before we checked with him.

Steak was so tough I couldn't eat it and was mostly fat and tasteless!!! Waitress was nice up until I had to check myself out on the kiosk , to preface I am legally blind and it is poorly lit in there to begin with . I was one of the" cent " , off from inputting my amount I owed went through and left a " $8 tip " !!! She runs out of the restaurant acting as "if I dined and dashed ", over one penny !!! Our server Forgot who's drinks we're who's and she forgot Food, lied about not ordering some of our food. Was rude when we told her what she forgot. Drinks were water down food wasn't good overall.When asked for the Manager She had an attitude. read more

It's not awful its not good. Most things are over-salted but you can ask them, to not add any extra salt which helps. If you want to stop someplace for a drink and an app this is a good choice. It's fast food quality but you sit at a table and have more choices. It's a shame because if the cut the salt by a lb or two the soup would be ok. read more

Always love coming here! Don't worry about having to wait to be seated, even on the weekends you shouldn't have to wait very long. Service is great, the wait staff and bartenders are really nice and are always there to help you with any questions or concerns. If you want to change up your order and add a few things or substitute? No problem, I know I have done it a lot and they always pull through. A great place to take the family or meet up with your friends. There is plenty to choose from the list of bar drinks. Not a drinker? No problem there is plenty to choose from the food menu. Pretty decent sit down restaurant with grill & pub style entrees and starters. I got the pick three starters option for $12.50. Included: choice of some appetizers, salads, or soups. I got the spinach artichoke dip, which is a classic here The newer pretzels and beer cheese dip which is unique and taste great! And the other classic French Onion Soup, perfect for a brisk fall day The soup is delicious and has melted cheese on it, mmm My family got the shrimp stir fry entree and the new stuffed rigatoni pasta bowl with breadstick. Both seemed to enjoy those as well. And to finish it all off, we got the Applebee's special favorite desert! TRIPLE CHOCOLATE MELTDOWN!!! By far one of the best chocolate cake desert with hot chocolate ganache center and a delicious vanilla scoop beside it. One of the few times I'm excited for the restaurant desert! Always amazing!! Food has been gross the two times we have gone. People are friendly and I don't expect much from Applebees, but I'll drive to Noblesville if I want good Applebees. Not sure why it's so busy besides drinks, those were decent. read more

We had an excellent server. She hosted us as a 6 top and took wonderful care of us. The food was timely we ordered several appetizers that were delicious. If you are in Frankfort, Applebee's is one of the very few sit down restaurants that's worth going to. The food is fairly good. The restaurant is fairly clean. However, I would like to see its cleanliness be upgraded a bit. It's worth stopping and having a good meal. The staff is friendly and it's easy to get to. read more

if Incould personally give no stars I would - I just came in to grab a quick bite - I got sat at the bar after 10 mins I finally get serviced, told the lady my order & she brings my drink me & there's A FLY floating in my drink . When I get the managers attention he looks at me and walks off into the kitchen leaving me clueless , 2 mins later he comes back and I tell him the situation , at that point he didn't acknowledge the customer in the right way and I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!! read more

Terrible experience. Waitress was very odd. Cursed out the onion that I didn't finish. Never brought me my water I asked for. Left us waiting for 20 minutes to get our bill. Food wasn't any good. 20 dollars for barely any meat on the ribs. Left a tip and didn't get a thank you. My acquaintance only got 4 damn waffle fries. Not sure what the previous reviews had a problem with, but our experience was top notch! Our server, Scotlynn, was fantastic, our food came out in a timely manner, and everything was clean and orderly. Place wasn't busy when we were sat. We ordered and the place filled up 20 min later. We waited over an hour for our food while others came and gone. The food was cold. The manager came up and asked if we were doing ok... Of course we aren't it's almost 11:30pm... An hour and half after we sat down and we still have to pay. Server did not come back to check on us at all after dropping off entrees. I had to ask another server order an alcoholic beverage. Server kept walking past table but would not stop. yesterday around 11pm a couple of friend and I went there. Two of my friends got there before I did they told one the waitress that there were six of us coming, she rudely said last call is at 1130 and we close the doors at 1130, even though there open until midnight. waitress took our drinks order that was fine, then two of our friends got there it took forever for the waitress to take there order for two damn drinks!!!! the waitress was rude about it too! Somebody order a salad it took forever for him to get his damn salad almost 20 minutes!!! we had a talk with the manager because our wings weren't even made right!! I ordered the Philly steak sandwich with waffle fries and I got hair in my food. They gave me my money back on the food. so I thought I'd give it one more try the second time I went. I asked for a Samuel Adams beer and they said they no longer had it so then I ordered hot wings with waffle fries and they said they no longer have waffle fries. so then I change my order from Hot Wings to a sampler platter and as for the cheeseburger egg rolls they told me that they had egg rolls but they weren't defrosted yet. far as I know egg rolls are just deep fried and they should have been able to have served me.
