Our server was training another server. When they took the order they both wrote it down. However when we were served they forgot the fries and green beans. When your training someone it don't look good to forget, especially when you told us you were training them . The food was GREAT! General cleanliness needs some improvement. We eat at Texas Roadhouse a lot. One of our go to restaurants. My wife not A big fan of steak. They don't have A chicken kabob. The former manager Tyler came up with her getting a grilled chicken breast and ringing up a side of just vegetable skewer. She ordered it a lot with no problems. Now that he's gone the owner says they cant do it. Tried to explain how it was rung up and that we have ordered it many times. Still, he refused. So much for customer service. The receptionist was rude and was very much involved with her cell phone. However the server was polite but perhaps overworked as she kept forgetting us and I had to ask another server to bring some of our missing order. My wife's food looked like it had been kept under a heat lamp, pre made. The baked potato was dry, the skin looked like over exposure to heating lamp. The half ribs were very dry, possibly pre-made and left under heating lamp. The sauce was hardened from sitting in the open. They need to check on the meal preparation and quit preparing so much ahead of time. On the other hand I ordered the prime rib which was pretty good. It was moist very tasty, no heating lamps here. The service was absolutely unprofessional. The reservation desk was ran by 3 obnoxious teenagers all wearing nose rings. By the way wearing nose rings is unsanitary. Lack of leadership in management.The teenagers was more focused about their world than the customers waiting for service. This one star rating is solely based on service and lack of Covid precautions. When we entered the hostess was the only person wearing a mask correctly. Everyone else either didn't have a mask on or had it on covering just their mouth and not their nose. The male manager who was traying up each order in the kitchen had his mask around his neck and not on his face at all. About half the customers were following their example and doing the same things. Food was great although my ribeye wasn't the best cut I've ever had but still delicious. They seated us in the main walkway and we asked to move to a different table and they refused us that table even though our server had a table in the section we asked to move to. read more

We had the chicken critters, baked potato and house salad on one meal and Grilled salmon salad on the other. Also ordered the onion blossom and combination appetizer with snake bites, potato skins and fried pickles. I was really happy with the salmon salad and tried the chicken critters. These were actually impressive with the amount of chicken and light breading. The restaurant was clean and well kept. Our server was very polite and friendly. He wasn't the most skilled at this position but really no complaints. For such bad weather outside, I expected a long wait due to lack of servers and how busy they were but they got us in immediately and we were finished with our meal and got two meals to go for our adult children. I have a theory. If you order a steak with toppings like mushrooms or onions, they use a cut of beef that isn't visually appealing. They save the better cuts for orders that are not covered up. I ordered the exact same thing as my wife except I added the toppings. Her's looked just fine. Mine varied in thickness by quite a bit. The center was almost twice as thick as the outer portion. I've never ate a steak in my life that had so much gristle and silver skin. You can expect a ribeye to have a certain amount of fat, but not so much gristle that you can hardly chew it. So disappointed. If you order a steak with toppings, I recommend getting the toppings on the side. That way they aren't hiding a cut of beef that they can't sell. read more

The wait staff was very nice and helpful except for the fact my waitress forgot the lemons for my water multiple times. I still haven't gotten them. The only disappointment was the lack of peanut shells on the floor. Every other Roadhouse I've been to has scattered peanut shells all over the floor and this place had none. The food was good, but service terrible, had to wait for server, main entrees came without the salad; then a server brought salad later, server did not check on us for getting added sauces etc, , worse complaint was that place was filthy/ bathroom, restaurant and kitchen areas dirty. We were seated in area with direct view into servers kitchen staging area and there was so much refuse on floor no one picked up dropped straws, paper lids, general stuff. Will not return. I've given them several chances but been let down all several times! If my food isnt cold they leave something out of my food! I've spoken to 2 managers which was very nice & understanding. I swear to god, I don't think this place cares about you if you just order a salad. Every day one we order salads via the app for carry out, they forget stuff from our order, the order is a lot later than when was promised (after I get the text saying the order was ready) and the most recent item, they said they lost our order. My sister called ahead, 20 min after we were at the hoat stand we checked in. 30 min later and seating table after table we still weren't sat. If you can request a server, request Avery! She is fantastic! I have not found myself without a drink... and I drink tea like a fish! She's always had one at the ready! Sadly I write that RoadHouse does not support the disabled very well. They only have four tables and will never hold them so we do not go there as often as we'd like. My Wife and I had dinner at Texas Roadhouse for Valentine's Day. My wife and I had our first date 28 years ago on Valentine's Day. Our food was very good. This review is more for our server LaLa. What an incredible experience she gave us. She was very friendly and kind! Customer service has sadly declined and often waitresses and waiters just go through the motion while still expecting to get a good tip. Not LaLa. Very attentive to us even though she was extremely busy. She had an incredible attitude that was infectious. What was even more amazing is how kind to her coworkers she was. I have never had a bad time when going to this place. My steak today was not cooked enough but I hate to send it back so my son ate it. I also had the ribs for the first time and they were better than fantastic. Our waitress was Angel and if you go there ask for her. She is wonderful. They need to update their seating and lighting! Hubby and I were seated at a very small booth. The table was NOT big enough for everything on it. Once the rolls had been devoured (and, yes, they were delicious!), and our salads delivered, there was barely any room on the table. And then when our entrees arrived, it was impossibly crowded. With such small tables, the wait staff needs to be more attentive to clearing in a timely manner. My husband had to stand up to get his wallet out of his pocket. His comment: "In this booth, I don't have enough room to change my mind!" The light over the table was way too low, and I could only see half of my husband's face. He has a nice face, and I actually enjoy looking at him as we eat dinner. There were two women eating dinner across from us who also complained about the height of their light obstructing their vision. Perhaps, this is a positive for some patrons; however, it was a negative for us. The food was very good; however, the discomfort of the physical space detracted from our overall dining experience. Our visit was a mess. Did call ahead seating and still had to wait about 15 when we arrived. Would have preferred they not offer it. My husbands knife had grease all over it when we got our silverware, then the second batch had a piece of lettuce on the fork. Lots of other small issues. Not a good dining experience! Think some staff training is badly needed. Salads were served before our appetizer which soon followed. After taking a few bites of the appetizer our food was delivered. We mentioned to our waitress that more time should be spaced between courses and her reply was "ya sometimes the ribs come out quicker than the steaks". I ended up bringing my dinner home so I could warm it as I really prefer eating while hot and we couldn't shovel it in fast enough to be able to do that. I know the goal is to get you in and out to make room for the next people but this was ridiculous. Will think twice about our choice the next time we want ribs. Very disappointed!! read more
