I love Applebee's delectable meals. My favorite is the fettuccine Alfredo it is so savory.. Next in line is the Chicken grilled oriental salad nice and tangy and tasty.. My husband and I came out to dinner on this beautiful Sunday night, just to have an awkward, unpleasant experience. We ordered the 2 for 27$ deal, and ordered a shrimp entree and a 8oz sirloins steak entree. When we got our food, the shrimp looked okay, but the steak looked like something you would feed a toddler (literally). We asked the server for reassurance that we ordered an 8oz steak, and we were told that the steak shrinks when it's cooked (which was understandable) so she was nice enough to try to get us a discount for the inconvenience. I kind of expected them to knock off more than $2.50off the bill, but that was "the best they could do.." Probably will NEVER be having a date night here again. read more

Excellent service from Kori who was extremely attentive without being a nuisance. If you get her as a server your experience will be great. We had chicken wonton tacos for appetizer... the were brilliant. Shared perfectly grilled ribeye with shrimp and still had to take steak home as portions were quite generous. We will return soon. We had a nice dinner at Hemet's Applebees recently, and the waiter even remembered what my companion had ordered a couple of weeks prior when we had been served inside! The fresh air cafe they have created in their parking lot was comfortable, despite the hot evening because they have installed misters, and the wait staff was friendly and pretty efficient, despite the well-spaced weekend crowd. The menu was somewhat limited, and prices were a bit high, but all in all it was a good place to eat out in the pandemic summer of 2020. read more

My friend and I had soup and salad, which was expensive for the small portions, and served by a very hurried and obnoxious little man with a braid. We were four bites into our meal when he gave us a check. Not asked how we were doing or if we needed anything or wanted more water. It wasn't crowded by any means. Customer service is terrible. I went with my wife for some happy hour food and drinks. We were sat by the hostess in the bar area, and was never greeted by a server or bar tender for 15 minutes. When someone finally came around they went to a table of people who arrived after us and took their orders and then told us he'd be right back, he never asked us if we'd like a drink or appetizer. 7 more minutes later and still no one came back to help us. I generally rate for service, not food. While the food was good, the service we received from our server, Madison, was simply excellent. My wife and I were visiting from San Diego, with a local family member in Hemet and 2 others from Missouri. My wife has special dietary needs, and Madison went above and beyond to accommodate her as much as possible. It's hard to find places my wife can eat while traveling, and Madison made her experience memorable in a good way. We appreciate her efforts and especially her kindness and upbeat demeanor. This place is unsanitary, one of the waitresses (Katie) was drinking from drinks and eating food off of plates. She would put her hand in her chest then go and serve people food. Someone from the back came out with shoes in their hand and then went and served food, also came by and while one of the drinks on the bar was there with a candy garnish, he took it out and ate it! While serving beverages she (Katie) also opened straws & touched them with her dirty titty hands! First time at this location and the LAST! I went for lunch with a friend today we were grossed out by 4 things. 1- The spoon that was given to me for my soup had leftover chocolate cake/brownie residue on it 2- There was a hair in my sandwich 3- The edge of the table where I was sitting (the part you lean against when you eat), literally had about 10 or more long hairs hanging on it, plus the backside of the seat where your back touches, was full of hair as well. 4- The top of the table where your food is placed didn't look like it was thoroughly wiped after the previous people who ate at that table. If you don't care about the cleanliness of a restaurant, go ahead, eat there. So, I'm writing this review about their "Carside To-Go" service. I have REALLY enjoyed my experience with "Carside To-Go". Not only are they super efficient and friendly, but they've ALWAYS got our order right, and it's always hot and ready to go on time - which is really important for a service like this. If you finish it too early, then it cools off by the time you get there and then it's lukewarm (at best) by the time you get home. Because of this, this location gets my recommendation for their "Carside To-Go". As far as the food, it's always been great. Only eaten inside once, and the food was great, but the service was mediocre and slow. Pricing is a bit rough, though. Times are still tough, guys. read more

Excellent Customer service by Quona I was surprised that this place is busy on a sunday night but as always Applebees is very good, i have yet to find a bad applebees restaurant. If you go here, my recommendation is to sit in the bar area. Better atmosphere, better service. I'm sure most people know this restaurant is a chain, so the food is decent but nothing outstanding. I came here today for lunch. I've only been to an Applebee's one other time in my life. I ordered the "Grilled Onion Sirloin With Stout Gravy" off of the "Lighter Fare" menu, and it was pretty good. Meat was cooked perfect and the meal as a whole flavorful. The sirloin was a tad chewy in some areas, but it wasn't awful. This is Applebee's after all. The one thing that made my experience great was my waitress, Wendy. Definitely one of the sweetest waitresses I've ever come across, and I've come across many. Very good service. In fact, I noticed all of the waitresses and waiters were very attentive, always checking on all of the other tables to see if everything was ok and if anybody needed anything. read more

I work at a restaurant in town and so when I go out with friends or family I do kind of judge based on how business looks and stuff like that. My visit tonight was satisfactory to say the least. I come in with an open mind and try to give a fair chance to the waiter/waitresses on duty. My sister and I walked in to the restaurant and were surprised there was no host. It was around 9:30pm and they closed at midnight so lower staff members were expected. I made eye contact with the bartender and she finally walked to the back room to get the host. He finally came up to us and sat us down. Not much people there at the time. Cleanliness was good and our waitress came right away. She took our drinks and asked us everything she needed to. So far so good. First issue were the menus. There were what appeared to be dried up food marks on it. It wasn't the most pleasant sight. The waitress came and took our order. Cool. Here we go. We ordered appetizers and they came out well. Good job! Asian chili wings. Get those. Bombdotcom. Then, the second issue arose. We waited quite a long time for our food. Keep in mind, it was still slow, like, two other tables slow. Finally our food came out. Yuss. Had that happy "let's eat!!" face and disappointment slowly took over. My meal, the Four cheese and some kind of honey chicken, bland. Macaroni had little to no flavor. Chicken was good though. My sister's meal was the quesadilla burger. Looked great on the menu. I called chief. Told me this wasn't it. The burger patty clearly overpowered the whole thing in flavor. Just a patty and a tortilla. French fries were not fresh. Maybe like 3 of them were tasteful but the majority....ehh not so much. That's about it. Our server came by once to check up on us. I mean that's cool. Trying to close up early and what not. I get it. She came back a second time when we asked for a box to go. I swear, this waitress was climbing the Appalachian mountains to find the to go box. She came back 3-5 minutes later with it. I paid my tab on the tablet and took a survey. It said it would take 3 minutes to take the survey. Nope. I may have read it wrong. I guess you only get 3 minutes to complete the survey because I was 3 questions in and it ended it for me and told me to have a good day. So yeah. That's my experience. Would I go back? On the fence currently. I want their dessert called the blondie. For the staff, clean the menus. Always take care of your customers. No matter how slow it is. If anything you should pay even more attention to them. Cooks. Come on now. Fresh food for your customers especially if it's slow. I'm too nice to give it back to you. That's just how I am. If your going to go and sit outside here or in the parking lot make sure you bring a fly screen to put over your food! It's terrible. I was on the phone when our server came over and my wife ordered the Chicken fettuccine and a Perfect Margarita. I got off the phone and ordered just some Asian Chili Boneless Wings and reg. Ice Tea. The wings came out in good time. We are eating the wings and get done as there were so many flies crawling over the food we are all but 3 and they were superb! So I asked my wife why it's taking so long to get her Dinner! After about 30 minutes I asked another waiter to help find out why it's taking so long. Now our waiter comes over after hearing me ask why it's taking so long. Our waiter told me I only thought you wanted chicken wings! I asked him where HE was when my wife ordered the Chicken Dish! He told me that he cancelled her dinner because I ordered chicken wings! I got upset and asked why on earth would you cancel my wife's order! He said he didn't think we wanted it! This server made no sense in his response! I asked to speak to the Mgr. Dean the manager came over and I explained what transpired. He apologized. So now we're waiting on my wife's dinner which we got in about 15 minutes. I get the bill and there was no deduction for the servers mess up. I paid the bill and looked around for the Mgr Dean to express my disappointment in him for not taking care of the situation. I didn't see him until I was pulling out in my vehicle. I waved him over and told him that I was very disappointed in his ability to manage and take care of customer situations when they arise! I have known many managers at this Applebee's and have had several to my home for parties Cliff being one. None of the previous managers would have let this go! Very disappointed. When I was speaking to the manager Dean if even a small gesture of apology like taking the tea off the bill would have shown some kind of compassion for the waiter that screwed up our Sunday dinner! read more

Honestly this was possibly the worst service I've ever received. The waitress in the bar area was totally inattentive and never even bothered to bring menus, so we decided to take advantage of the appetizers. Fifteen minutes from sitting down, we finally placed a drink order. We had no idea it would be the last time we would see her. Fifteen minutes after that, we received the lemonade and Pepsi asked for. We used the tabletop machine to place a food order as the waitress was either MIA or conversing with the other tables (I'm so much smarter than my manager! Uh huh) ... totally unacceptable.
