Food was pretty good but the burger seemed a little too dry. I'll probably visit sometime soon.

We ate at an Applebee's in Killeen Tx located at 2700 E Central Texas Expy, Killeen, TX 76543[. My 7 year old son had a yogurt he at that made him sick, while at the restaurant we found odd substances in it that where similar to curdled milk. My daughter who is 11 got a to go drink, I drank some of it and developed an upset stomach. I found an unusual substance in the drink and sent pictures to the health department. I am disgusted with our experience there and what the staff is doing in that kitchen is dangerous to the public health. read more

Service was horrible. Had to wait over 5 minutes before the server even acknowledged us. I ordered an alcoholic beverage and literally watched the bar tender make it then it sat for at least 10 minutes before finally coming to me. Worst part is they weren't even packed. My wife ordered a salad and it literally only had 2 croutons on it. Like are u serious 2 CROUTONS!!! Manager brought food out and did not even ask us how our visit was going. Just dropped food off and took off. Will not be coming back and I will be letting everyone I know not to go to this Applebee's. my wife ran out of her drink. we had to call the server to ask for a refill. I literally watched as he walked around carrying on conversations with other customers and brought them things before he could bring us a simple refill. it was 6:12 pm when we asked for a refill and did not receive the beverage till 6:23pm. this was not an alcoholic beverage just a simple diet Pepsi. just ridiculous. read more

No more Applebee's.....my server was very very unprofessional and slow.....and you name it.....he has it all.....not to make customer happy

First, our hostess/waitress was not even paying attention, when we arrived, to seat us. We stood there as she looked to be sleeping standing up. I had to slam the door to get her to turn around or wake up. Then, with the personality of a cardboard box, she tried taking out order as soon as we sat down. Can we look at the menu please? After we did order, we waited 18 to 20 mins with her apologizing, at least twice, for it taking so long and said the reason it was taking so long was because "the chicken was frozen". After we ate, we were going to pay through the kiosk, but it said we didn't have enough beverages on our order to pay. We eventually got it all worked out, but not after wanting to take a handful of aspirin. Never again Applebee's. read more

This is the second time now that I 've had a bad experience with the killeen applebees. The first time a few weeks ago we sat outside and only saw our waitress when she took our order and brought out our food, 40 min later my friend had to go and get her so we could pay and leave. Today we had a few issues. One, our host stopped and talked to another worker while very slowly taking us to our table. Two, whoever was grilling today messed up a steak twice. When the waitress brought out our food she didn't ask me to cut my steak to make sure it was cooked right so she had already walked away by the time I had cut it. We waited fairly patiently for about 10 min for our waitress to let her know it wasn't a medium rare, which she politely agreed and told us she'd have another one out soon. Soon turned into waiting almost half an hour for her to finally bring it out to us, and when I checked the steak it was still just very slightly pink. Meaning it was once again Well Done. Instead of making anymore of a deal out of it we decided to just pay and leave, with the notion that we won't be back. read more

My friend & I went there with her 2 y/o daughter for lunch Friday & we knew it was "lunch hour" so we were expecting a small wait for a table, & it to be a bit slower service. We got seated fairly quick & we were sitting there maybe 10 minutes before one of the supervisors came over to ask if we've had our order taken & I said that we haven't even placed a drink order! She took our order & apologized for the the wait on our drinks, as she was making our drinks our actual waitress comes over and is quite rude asked us what we wanted to drink...when I told her that we already placed our drink order she was like with who!? At that moment the supervisor came up with our drinks and apologized again. The waitress asked if we were ready to order and we said yes cause all we wanted was the soup & salad plus a kids mac & cheese. About 15 minutes pass by & an older couple gets seated behind us & she takes their order right away. 10 more minutes pass by & we are starving thinking this food shouldn't take this long & my friend was about to get up when we saw a server with soup & salad coming out...she sat down & we were ready to greet the server but he walked past us to the couple behind us who just placed their order! We've been here for 35 minutes and all we have gotten was some water from the tap. My friend lost it having a hungry 2 y/o and she told the waitress that the couple behind us got the same thing we got & ordered theirs way after we ordered ours and it's not like they are having to actually cook anything for our meals its' soup & salad plus some easy mac for the kid. She got snippy back & I asked for the supervisor. She went back & got her manager who was one of the worst managers I've ever come across! We explained everything & it's like he was not understanding us or not paying full attention but he said I'm sorry & i'll get you your food out right away. He brought out our food 5 minutes later & my spoon was dirty, my salad had no dressing & my chicken for my salad should've been warm since that's what they said we were waiting on to finish was cold. I called the manager over again & he said sorry and didn't comp anything for the meal. I'll never go back to this place. read more
