We visit this restaurant on Saturday, June 2, 2018, we arrived at approximately 6:05 pm for a party of 14 and was shown an area we would be seated at once it would be cleaned, however the manager gave it to a smaller party and when I inquired about it, she stated she didn't like my attitude and told me to leave the restaurant, I did nothing for the manager to escalate it to that level, I didn't even engage in an argument with her because minors were in there area, I just held my hand up for her to stop talking. I felt I had the right to ask a question and they were in chaos at that location. Very unprofessional, set low standards for herself and her staff, I pray service improve at this location. UPDATE: To add insult to injury, the District Manager sent me coupons for two Kids Meals and Appetizers which I told him I did want, but finally agreed to, however, the coupons could only be used if I purchase an adult meal!!!! If I'm honest my experience here did not meet my expectations. The staff was very nice but the food disappointed. My appetizer and meal arrived at the same time. The appetizer wasn't really warm. And my salad did not have a fresh feeling. The place was very busy so maybe I just got a dud. read more

The last two times we have been, the service has been absolute crap. This past time we were seated by the manager and then it took the waitress forever to come get our drink order. We gave her our order at the same time as our drink order and it took another 15 minutes to get our drinks because she got off and they never sent us another waitress. I had to call someone to the table. She was nicer and checked on us a lot. Our food came out completely wrong though. It took another 30 minutes for them to fix it. Worst experience ever. This has happened the past 2 times and I refuse to go back. They did give us $5 off our ticket and a card for a free appetizer, but that doesn't make up for crappy service the last 2 times. Best Applebee's I have ever been too.. my waiter austiN was amazing and super nice. The hostess, Pia, was fantastic as well, opened the door for me and made sure I was happy with my table. Food was great, had the bourbon steak. And the management, Keith and Jennifer, came and talked to me to make sure I was pleased. We ended up coming here because Cracker Barrel was packed. The entrance has 2 exit signs and no entrance sign. We came in and were sat right away, but then it was awful. The waitress was by far the most uneducated about the menu that I've ever dealt with. She was confused as to why we weren't ready to order as soon as we sat down. Then proceeded to argue that on the 2 for $22 meal both meals had to be exactly the same. A fellow worker finally walked by and said that we were right, but then the waitress tried to say that the spinach and artichoke dip we ordered doesn't count on our 2 for $22 and that we had another one on the way. Which again another worker fixed for us. Then the waitress tried to give us a completely different persons order and again asked what we ordered. Once again corrected be another worker. Maybe this waitress was new, not sure, but I'd expect to At least be presented with someone who has some sort of idea. The craziest thing is that on NFL Sunday the only thing on tv was the World Series game from the night before and soccer. Come on Applebee's help these people out. read more

This place is awesome! Every time we go out of town and come here we just have to have lunch here at least one time! I haven't really got much to say about this place but all I can say is this: If you eat here, make sure you can leave and tell yourself that you've made the right choice. read more

The menu changes have been a welcome delight. However, get there early, they lunch specials aren't prepared fresh.

A memorable meal; not in a good way. Most of the meal was OK, but the broccoli was so salty it was uneatable. Asked for some without salt, more arrived too salty to eat; and they charged us for the extra broccoli. I like salt; but this was in a thick brine that was painfully salty. Add in a disinterested waitress and we were glad to get out of this place. I am not expecting 5 star food or service at Applebees, but I am expecting eatable. I came in tonight with my family, and I'm leaving a bit disappointed. The service wasn't very good, I'm hoping my server was new..otherwise there was no excuse for that. SLOW, inefficient, crappy service. Everything took so much time: ordering, getting what we actually ordered, getting the check, etc. We had been waiting for the check (plus our credit card) for several minutes when we saw our waitress join a group to sing happy birthday at another table! My family and I chose to eat here after a day of shopping and it was a bad choice. First our apps came out 45 mins after ordering them and the food was cold. Shortly afterwards our kids' meals came out and everything was good. We were told that our food wood be out shortly. One hour passed, still no food for adults. We asked for the manager. Not once, but twice. 30 mins later, we started packing up getting ready to walk out. At this time ALL of our food came out. We advised the waiters that we were no longer interested in staying and that they can take the food back. At that time the manager came out to apologize for the service we received and about the wait time for our food. This was by far the worst experience we've ever had and the manager avoiding us speaks volumes about their perception of customer service. My husband and I are out of town and stopped in here so I could get a few drinks after dinner. The liquor stores were closed and I was not trying to get drunk! I figured since they had $2 lemonades I could spend under $8 and get a buzz, however I ordered two of those and felt nothing!! The bartender was rude and had an awful memory (she kept forgetting everything we asked for) and she kept dropping and breaking stuff (which is besides the point). Anyways, I decided to switch to an agave margarita because I figured that maybe they didn't put that much liquor into $2 lemonades. This margarita that came out was so thick, sweet and horribly sour that it made me sick to my stomach and I could not even finish it. I still felt no buzz whatsoever and I think the margarita had 0% tequila in it! Definitely not a good experience considering that the margarita was $8!!!!! (Drink menus do not have prices!!!). If you decide to go definitely go across the street to a different restaurant (or find a bar) for drinks instead!!! read more

Wonderful place, nice atmosphere however there was a wait to get a table but there was wonderful food.

Server was O.K. asked for side salads to go with burgers instead of fries. Got burgers with fries anyway and no side salads until we had finished the burgers! We arrived for lunch before the "main crowd" on Sunday as our Church service is earlier than most so there was no real reason for this to happen. Just as a side note both burgers were "hammered" and slightly burned and no condiments like mustard or mayo was offered. read more

Agh! Worst Applebee's experience ever! I'm a foodie and don't expect too much from a chain. But dang! This was bad. After traveling all day and checking into a hotel within walking distance, we decided to get food to go. I kept it simple. A cheeseburger, baked potato and a shake. I requested extra lettuce & mayo on the side. The burger looked like it had been sitting for a while. I got a sinkage sliver of lettuce... Not even a dull leaf... Definitely not extra, a slice of tomato that was mostly stem and had a dried piece of lettuce stuck to it... (Found the "extra" lettuce!) Just gross. 1 single ring of onion. All of which piled on top of the bun... Like on top of the top bun. (?) resulting in a wet bun. Oh yeah, no mayo on the side. The baked potato looked like it had sat all day. Half of the skin was missing... Exposing a dried, cracked potato. Like a rock. I didn't even try the shake at that point. I called the manager. She offered to make it again. I didn't even want a cheeseburger at that point. I decided that she just had to see the food that I got. I got dressed and took it over. She looked at it, refunded part of my money. She really should have offered a gift card or something for my trouble in my opinion. Either way, I took my refund to Waffle House and had a super fresh and delicious meal. read more

We were in Meridian the weekend and stopped into Applebee's right by our hotel. The food was ok except when my husband who always gets the fiesta lime chicken noticed there were not many tortilla chips on top of the chicken as usual with this order. The small dish on the plate that had sals in it had not been cleaned as there was dried up white stuff which is also not usual. We were pleased with the amount of the original bill as we commented it was only about $30 dollars. We give the waitress our credit card and she comes back with a final credit card slip that had $40 on it. Odd. She rushes back to our table and is waiting for us to sign the slip. Odd again. My husband signs the slips and she rushes off. In the meantime I noticed that there was a beer of about $6 add to the bill. We did not have a beer. She had added the beer to the credit card bill. We pointed this out to the manager who said they could only give us coupons because she didn't want to charge the card again. Odd. We were so ready to just get out of there that we took the coupons decided to write to corporate office and blast them in reviews. I would never visit this Applebee's again. read more

We sat down and the first menu opened was very sticky and hard to open. Then when I opened my menu small flea like bugs fell out. I looked at the waiter and she had them all crawling on her arm and side, I would guess from the other menus. The bugs were hopping on the table which made everyone jump back. This could be a one time occurrence but I doubt it. If they are not going to take time to clean the menus which are handed to the customer, how can I believe that they are going to keep clean the areas that I don't see. The waitress was mad at us as if this was our fault. I will say the manager was polite and asked if there was anything he could do to make it right and wanted to know what had happened. read more
