Mugshots is pretty much your typical sports bar. The staff is friendly enough, the service is fine, there's plenty of bar food on the menu, there's plenty of seating, and everything is relatively affordable The interior decor is a little strange in that it shows individuals traveling around the world and repping Mugshots by either holding a koozie or a Mugshots t-shirt The interior was lively, and a little loud on our visit, as I think there was an event on the other side of the restaurant, and their shouting was distracting Some tips: Try the Bread Puddin' Bites. 3.5 Stars Overall Stopped by for lunch and it wasn't busy due to MLK holiday. Was able to be seated immediately at a table. Many booths and tables that can accommodate 2-8 people. 3 stars Service - Our server was nice and pleasant. However only came by once to check if we needed refill on our drinks which were empty for a while. Also, when paying for the bill she seemed to be "rush" while I pay on the mobile device. I guess she was flustered with another table that seemed to be "more high maintenance" than normal. 3 - 3.25 stars - Food 3 Stars - Ordered a Texas Burger w fried string onions, jack cheese, sliced Jalapeños, lettuce and tomato w fries. The burger was "well cooked w a decent amount of char. Burger was dry. Should have returned it but we were on a time crunch. Fries were good 3.5 Stars - friend ordered the Philly Cheese burger w fries. His was Philly cheese steak looked and tasted a lot better than mine. Fries were good. I'd like to talk about the negative experience that I and my family had at Mugshots of Meridian. Normally, the food here is great, and we tip really well, but our experience this time was so much markedly worse than the previous visits to Mugshots that we agreed amongst ourselves that we will not be returning. My mother ordered nachos without jalapenos, but the cook added them regardless, and the server didn't seem to care or understand why it was an issue. My mother, not wanting to cause trouble for anyone, did her best to pick them off. We overheard a customer at another table ask for nachos with jalapenos on the side, and the server told them, "We don't do that." Is there some reason your servers seem intent on forcing people to eat jalapenos? Bizarre! I stopped the floor manager to mention the issue with the jalapenos, and she looked at me like I had two heads. Er... you're running a restaurant. Isn't your job to serve food that customers will be glad to eat? Is "Nachos, no jalapenos" really that much of a burdensome request? Good heavens! The floor manager eventually offered a 25% discount on our tab. (This was, by the way, a lie.) My mother went to use the restroom, and she told us that the women's restroom were absolutely filthy, having not been cleaned. The toilet, apparently, was crusted with dark sludge. Our server refused to bring us the tab and instead pulled a number out of thin air. We didn't even get so much as a receipt. Surely the sign of a legitimate establishment. Mugshots used to be a great place to have food, and we've been going there for years--but it is clearly in decline. My advice? Don't pay with a card; you might get your numbers stolen. read more

I tried one of their new smash burgers and it was very good. It had so much flavor, I will be ordering it again. I like the fries also.

When I went to pick my order up, it was waiting on me and everything was good and fresh and also delicious!

Front hostess very pleasant, as was our waitress. Our drink was not good. The hamburger, and fries came out so fast. We realized the hamburger was cooked prior and just warmed up. Stale, hard. Dirty inside, need to clean starting with the front door. Nice staff. read more

Standard bar food but the back of house probably doesn't read. I ordered 2 desserts both with Carmel and no chocolate, and i got no Carmel and one side of chocolate sauce. All other food was at least in the bag. I would recommend to check the takeout orders before you leave. read more

Food was absolutely disgusting, I feel the need to wash out my mouth after the first bite. I'm a trucker and often have an evening to relax in my truck at the stores before unloading the next day and I always like to try the local spots as they're usually good. So I ordered on uber eats. Food and service were terrible. First, when I asked the server about the beer selection he said he didn't know and that I should go ask the bartender. I thought that was odd. Secondly, the burger was overdone and didn't test very good. My wife's turkey burger was overly salty and not very good. Lastly, we ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer, thinking it was in happy hour prices. When we got the bill we noticed it was full price. When we asked the server, he said that there was a small portion of fried pickles that was the happy hour item. We didn't know that and should have been told about the different happy hour items. Just stopped for a delicious lunch here. We all had their specialty burgers. 5 Star Yum! I had the Garlic Parmesan Burger. Don't remember the last time I had a burger so good. Husband says he had "a heck of a burger!". The place was packed. Our server, Hayley, was all smiles, patient, and super efficient. The Management got the game on the TVs for the guys. This place is okay! I was impressed with everything but the burger. Appetizers were delicious! We got the fried pickles, cheese wedges, and the south west egg rolls. The egg rolls were the star of dinner! They also have great fries. I ordered the garlic Parmesan bacon burger and my husband ordered the Mac and cheese burger. I will give this place an A for creativity but my burger was just way too heavy on my tummy. My husbands was just huge!!! Our server was great. She was so friendly and attentive. The food was great! The service was great! But they do have to work on their cleaning. The table where we were seated was filthy. We were there early so the table must have been dirty from the night before. It was sticky and dried food was still visible after the waitress cleaned it for us. The condiment bottles, salt and pepper shakers were greasy and covered in scum. The inside edges of the table were VERY bad...they need a hard bristle brush with a bucket of hot water and vinegar to clean the tables every day! Other then that I would go back. read more
