I used to love Applebee's. Today we went and ordered three dinners my burger was raw my wife's chicken was rubber and my daughter's four cheese macaroni and cheese with chicken tenders was awful. None of us finished our meal. The only thing that was edible was the french onion soup. $72 + Tip for food that mcdonald's could have prepared better. I won't be going back. read more

I had the BEST time. Service was wonderful and the staff was super helpful. The hostess especially seated us immediately with a huge smile. Food was warm and delightful. Only problem is I can't rate with six starts! Overall a great dining experience. Can't wait to come back! read more

Curbside to go was on time and everything was done exactly as I asked. Manager Sean V brought it out directly..it's Great seeing a working manager helping the staff. Definitely recommend the blackened shimp pasta..will get my business again!! read more

Everytime I come, no matter who I'm with, I can never seem to get reasonable service here. I came in with a friend Thursday, with the place very empty. Was seated by the greeter quickly, only to wait for 15 minutes for a server to ever appear (her name started with an M I believe but I can't seem to recollect). Once we finally got drinks & our order taken, she disappeared. On the computers at the table, I tried to get into our tab so we could pay & leave once the food came, & nothing but our drinks showed up. We waited and waited for another 15 minutes to ask the server where our check was, & when she finally showed up she claimed it was a faulty computer. Another 30 mins later our food came out, lukewarm & meat not cooked appropriately. -Which seems to happen every time. We never saw our waitress after that. Needless to say, I think I'll find a different restaurant to frequent; mediocre service at best is not the way to create customers. read more

We had a gift card to Applebees; it's not normally our kind of place. We came on a Saturday to sit at the bar. The bartender, Ryan, was not friendly. He wasn't rude, either, but just not how you'd expect a bartender to act. The bar top was dirty, covered in salt, crumbs and greasy spots. As the bar emptied, he stood staring at the Duke game instead of cleaning. This is why we steer clear of Applebees unless we have a gift card. read more

1/8/16, We have liked Applebees, but tonight we seen why they get bad reviews. We went to the Monaca location. On a Friday, we expected a wait line, so we gave our name and got our alarm unit. We waited and waited. We checked back with the front desk and found out that they forgot about us at the bar. They just laughed it off and said-"we will sit you next" Yes, they laughed it off. I would give zero stars but it won't let me. My friends and I came to this applebee's to get food in between shows we perform in at our high school. In the middle of our meal a waitress came to our table and whispered to my seventeen year old friend that the manager needs her to pull up her dress. This is extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. This fifty some male manager felt the need to ask a seventeen year old to pull up her fucking dress. We were just trying to eat our food before our performance later that night. Not to mention her mother bought her the dress and it wasn't in any way inappropriate. Overall i'm extremely disappointed and disgusted, next time don't stare at a seventeen year old's boobs and you won't have a problem. read more

I went alone to the Monaca, PA, Applebee's for dinner about 7:15 last night. There was a wait for a table so I found a seat at the bar. One of the 2 waitresses eventually noticed me, served me beer and provided a menu only after I requested one. Within minutes most of those seated at the bar finished and left leaving four others besides my self at the bar. It was obvious that my waitress' priority was socializing rather than service. I had difficulty getting my bill and even more paying it while she kept her back to me in a lengthy conversation with a woman sitting opposite me. I estimate that it took me at least 20 minutes to get my bill, pay it, and then get change for a tip. There was no sign of a manager at any time. My impression is that the staff is totally untrained in customer service and unsupervised. I have no intention of ever going to Applebee's ever again. read more

I went to the Monaca Applebee's earlier today. We got seated right away at a table we requested ! Our waitress was very friendly and kind, her name was Martika. Unfortunately our silverware came out dirty so we requested new ones. Then our appetizer came out burnt and had to request a new oneas well. With in five minutes the manager, Rich, came over to apologize. He took care of the situation and was sincerely apologetic. The rest of our meal was prompt, hot & delicious. I went back to this Applebee's again after a few months. Things were generally better. My friend and I split three appetizers: cheeseburger egg rolls, steak tacos, and mozzarella sticks. They were all good. The cheese sticks could have been hotter though. At least everything was lukewarm. I also ordered the six-ounce sirloin from the 2 for $25 menu, and asked for it rare. It came out somewhere between medium and medium-well, so I wasn't happy about that. My sides were broccoli (ok but lukewarm) and the fire-roasted vegetables (a half zucchini and about 1/8 of a red pepper). They were both cold and came with this weird-tasting hummus. At least I'm at the point now where I'd come back to this Applebee's. read more

The best thing we got was the piece of lemon fruit. The shrimp was over cooked and in my culture if you can't enjoy food by itself it's not worth anything. My girlfriend who is pregnant ordered a raspberry iced tea they gave her diet pop. Little known fact drinking diet pop during pregnancy is terrible for the child. Luckily she only had one sip and told the waitress to fix it. I never eat at Applebee's for a reason and I see why now. read more

Had the WORST service in my life here on March 11th. Our waitress was beyond awful. Salads came after our meal?? Seems like all the other waiters were good but ours was just dreadful. Food was good but service was so awful it was tough to enjoy our meals. read more

The food is normally good The only real complaint is the menu when they introduce new items they eliminate other menu items ( usually my favorites like the steak fajitas ) The brunch burger was surprisingly excellent I never thought I would like an egg on my burger but somehow it works . Prices are good service can vary as any place sometimes good other times slow . Overall a decent place that is open late .I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but if you are close by it's one of the better choices for local restaurants. read more

I really like Applebees. Prices are reasonable and the menu is very nice as well. Misty recently enjoyed the chicken Calabrese. It was excellent. This is one of the few restaurants where the food served to you actually looks like the picture on the menu! read more

Coming here is hit or miss. I will say that they are always packed but the service is always iffy. I haven't had any issues with the food and they have decent drink specials. My friend gets car side to go a lot and likes the convenience of the service. read more

Visit here every once in awhile. My friends like Applebee's, so I go. Last night we stopped after a movie. It was not crowded. So we sat right away. Ordered a few drinks and my friend ask if there were any good specials. We were told no. Hmmmm. After looking at the menus on our table I realized there were appetizer specials. Hmmmm. Must tell our server, who obviously wasn't aware. As we open our silverware 2 of the 5 were dirty, 1 actually had food on it. So when our drinks arrive we tell the server. We were informed that the dishwasher, the machine not the person has been broken and they are hand washing their dishes. Well, now I'm concerned especially since my drink came and my glass was dirty. When out server returned to take our order I informed her of this she took it back and I guess it was cleaned upon it being returned I noticed the sugar rim on my 7$ drink was missing. I had enough. I'll pass on the drink. As we sat there my friend said would you like to leave and I said no that's OK let's just finish it out so we did at that hour not many places to eat. So my friends enjoy their discounted appetizers and we enjoyed a burger food was OK I won't complain about it. The manager came over to find out what was going on with our table and we informed him of our experience. On a bright note he did take my drink off the check he also bought my husband's beer as well as discounted the burger. I appreciate the effort from the Manager but even though my friends liked it there none of us will be returning. It's sad really. Not many places to eat close to home that i can recommend. read more
