We had some flight issues and had to stay the night near the Pittsburgh airport. The airline offered us a food voucher and not many places took the voucher, so we ended up eating at Burgh because they did. The service was good, but the food was awful. The Burgh Sportz Bar in Terminal D in the PIT airport is a friendly, efficient place for a quick bite between or while waiting for flights. I had a nice bowl of Chili which was hearty and filling. A little heavy on the cumin but pretty flavorful. My wife had a nice turkey sandwich and soda. The margarita was well balanced and a glass of Oktoberfest beer finished up the meal perfectly. We were looking for a light breakfast before our flight home and this place looked interesting. The decor is very Pittsburgh and there are numerous TV's as well as music playing loudly. The bar is nice and there are a dozen or so tables, low tops and high tops. The menu is one you have to scan on your phone. For breakfast there were 5 choices. Our server worked the bar and the tables and was extremely efficient. I had a cup of tea since they had no decaf coffee and the water was only lukewarm. I ordered a bagel sandwich which included an egg, cheese and sausage or bacon. Our food came quickly and was decent. Since the bagel was so thick, it needed more egg as you could mostly taste bagel. The sandwich was served with little potatoes coated with salt and I believe garlic. I thought they were good. All in all, a decent place to eat, just nothing special. read more

I have drank many Iron City beers at this restaurant/bar over the years while waiting for my flights. It's a great place to grab a drink and/or a bite to eat before your flight and enjoy their sports bar themed atmosphere. I am positive there will always be a Steelers, Pirates or Penguins game playing on one of their several televisions hanging on the walls. The last time I was here I had the Mediterranean hummus wrap with no cheese and fries and they were both delicious. Highly recommended! My group stopped here before heading to Vegas recently. The one thing on the menu I would say is a must try, is their buffalo chicken tenders. The tenders they use have a great crispiness to them, and the sauce is perfect. I really wish they had some better ranch to go with them though. I stopped at the burg sports bar. On my way to a flight. I ordered a draft beer and a meat lovers pizza. 15 minutes later the beer came out. Over 30 minutes then the pizza. By that time I had finished the beer and I had 10 minutes before my plane started boarding. When they delivered the pizza I asked for my bill because I would have to hurry. When it came, I noticed it was more than it should have been so I figured they added the tip so I just signed it and left quickly to board my plane. Once I got home I was going over my receipts. My total bill was $25.68. What they charged me was $37.13! Nearly A50% tip??? What? I have tried to call this place several times since I've been home and nobody ever answers. So now I am leaving this awful review. What a rip off! My servers name was chance. I don't know if this was his doing or if that's their practice to charge so much for tip and not let you know. Such a rip off! I'm so unhappy. I was the only one at my table. It wasn't like I was a difficult person. The service was not good. The food was mediocre. I do not recommend this place at all. Okay so I haven't been reviewing regularly since COVID and this is only my second airline travel trip, in this case to attend a funeral. The Good: The best thing I can say about this place is it's conveniently located directly across from my departure gate 27. You can sit out front and nurse your beer and watch when boarding starts. Outside Tables are spread reasonably distant and there are several hand sanitizers positioned between tables. The server was prompt and friendly, which is why I gave this place 2 stars and not just 1. The Bad: When the server first came I asked him if the burgers were good understanding that he's obliged to say "yes", but I'm looking for the enthusiasm behind it. In this case he seemed pretty upbeat so I went for it. MISTAKE. By looking at the photo it looks pretty great, but the meat tasted freezer burned. And I ordered it medium, which was more towards well, but with a burger this thin it's hard to do just right. The French fries were good though. My wife chose the turkey club. MISTAKE #2. She said the turkey tasted "slimy" and just not good. So bottom line, unless you just want to sip a beverage and watch your gate, then there are much better choices in PIT airport (like Primanti Bros). read more

Located in terminal B - This sports bar has an inviting vibe with the best 90s/2000s hits creating an enjoyable atmosphere in an airport. The music had us bopping and singing the whole time. Random options to top with pierogis but I've always been a fan out being extra with my toppings. Food: was surprisingly impressed by the Burgh Club. I wouldn't say anything is healthy - but good flavor. Not just fried any oily for now reason. Fries - good crisp. Service has always been excellent. The staff made us feel welcome but time did not permit us to stay longer and learn more about them. The place did look nice and appears to be nothing more than your typical sports bar. Da Burgh is da bomb! Stopped at the B gates location while waiting for a flight out (they also have a location in the D gates) and had a great time. I had a craving for an old-fashioned after having an amazing one at a restaurant downtown and the bartender wasn't that familiar with how to make one, but she said she'd give it a shot. I thought that was super nice and it turned out okay. Also, I'd just run the Pittsburgh Half Marathon so I wanted to reward myself with chicken wings and the boneless buffalo wings were super tasty. Additionally, sitting at the bar, I met a ton of nice people from all over. With great service, tasty food and a fun atmosphere, I'd consider flying back to Pittsburgh just to hang out at the Burgh Sportz Bar! read more

Since the Admirals Club is temporarily closed, my husband suggested we stop at the Burgh Sportz Bar. I was admittedly apprehensive. The place was steady and we were promptly greeted by Jasmine, our waitress. Jasmine was super friendly and did an excellent job of managing all of her tables efficiently. I order the buffalo chicken wrap and I was pleasantly surprised. As a self-proclaimed buffalo chicken wrap connoisseur, this was one of the best I've ever had. My only complaint is that the wrap itself was a little too thick. The sauce on the chicken was fantastic and the wrap was dressed with a slaw tossed in blue cheese. Both waitresses seemed to know and remember the frequent flyers. I also liked how they provided the bill right away after drinks and/or food is ordered. Nice to have if you're in a time crunch.
