    Club chicken sandwich and fries

We enjoyed our food while waiting for our gate. The food was tasty with large servings. We had our baby and they brought us a high chair. We sat outside the restaurant in the walkway, but did not feel in the way, but the restaurant did not seem very big. Our waitress was helpful giving good advice on food and everything we needed!

Thanks for a nice place to enjoy dinner prior to my flight. My waitress was personable and friendly. I was seated right away and my dinner came out quickly. The Greek salad with added salmon was delicious! Perfectly seasoned and cooked just right.

Decent place for a meal at the airport. I decided to have an old fashioned which was good. I ordered the turkey club. It was good even though it did not come with cheese. The fries were seasoned well with the right amount of crunch. The atmosphere was like a sports bar. The place is big enough for a good amount of patrons, and they served me quickly. 4 Stars!

Not a huge selection of beers but they had a tasty stout i really enjoyed. Nice little place to hang out while waiting for your flight to board.

The wait is pretty long because this place stays pretty packed. The French fries are delicious. Crispy and hot.

A bit expensive but it's the Airport. I've been here mornings & now evening and wow I just love the Airport scene. The food and drinks are amazing as is the atmosphere. I love drinking and chatting amongst Airport travelers.

This is a great little place located in the Pittsburgh Airport. They have some cool local pro sports team mementos on the walls, TVs, etc. The beers are good and so are the burgers, turkey club and just about anything else. The staff is responsive and friendly, including the cooks. Kinda small, so you can almost see the whole operation - not a bad thing here. Give them a try if you're in the Delta terminal and have some time to spare.

Atmosphere - Good. Your typical airport bar/restaurant. The place is pretty small. There are TVs located throughout the restaurant. Service - Very Good. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Food - just OK. I was there in the morning and ordered a breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, bacon) on a bagel. The bagel was fresh and the sandwich tasted fine. However, there was much egg for the size of the sandwich Overall - Meh. About 50 feet further down the terminal is a Brugger's bagel place. I love their egg sandwiches and was bummed that I did not notice the restaurant

We were looking for a light breakfast before our flight home and this place looked interesting. The decor is very Pittsburgh and there are numerous TV's as well as music playing loudly. The bar is nice and there are a dozen or so tables, low tops and high tops. The menu is one you have to scan on your phone. For breakfast there were 5 choices. Our server worked the bar and the tables and was extremely efficient. I had a cup of tea since they had no decaf coffee and the water was only lukewarm. I ordered a bagel sandwich which included an egg, cheese and sausage or bacon. Our food came quickly and was decent. Since the bagel was so thick, it needed more egg as you could mostly taste bagel. The sandwich was served with little potatoes coated with salt and I believe garlic. I thought they were good. All in all, a decent place to eat, just nothing special.

We are so happy we stopped in! Amazing service, Steelers bar, added bonus. Drinks were expensive but it's an airport, whatever. Margaritas were delicious and strong! We shared the Pierogis and and kalbasa with coleslaw and ohhhh myyy gosh. I ordered more pierogis after we finished. SO FREAKING GOOD! Such a perfect end to our trip to Pittsburg after watching the Steelers smack the Browns!!

Stood next to the "wait to be seated" sign and was whisked to a choice of high-top table or chair. The chair was the thing! I put my baggage on the other seat and a server got me an 18oz beer right away. I had a question about the sandwich and she answered it. Made my order quickly, as my flight would be boarding in 50 minutes. The pastrami sandwich looked like a mountain, when it got to the table. Crisp cabbage with a hint of vinaigrette held hands with crispy fries that topped the hot pastrami that was recently on the searing flattop! Wow! What a bite! There was half a sandwich left after just a few minutes. My beer washed it down. The other half dared me to bite it, so I obliged! More yumminess!! It really looks like a huge, but it bites down well! Lots of Steeler decorations all around, and even the bartender was wearing a football jersey of the best team in the league! Can't wait to come back!

Today, however, in the midst of tough economic times, I had a different experience. I was a willing buyer of an upsell to a dirty soda. This is a Coke with syrup in it. It costs twice as much normal soda because of the flavoring. You get one for that. I asked for a regular coke refill and was refused. Mind you, you can buy a soda for 1/2 the price and get unlimited refills. Common sense says a coke refill without syrup should be no problem. The server was brand new and didn't know. Enter Kevin, who joyfully said that the policy said no refills on the 2x priced soda (without the cream syrups). Even though everyone here has unlimited soda, including staff. This is the easiest customer service issue for a good manager to make right. What did Kevin do? He double downed. I asked for a more senior, reasonable person. No such person was here. I asked for the home office email or phone numbers. He told me to look it up myself. Awesome example in front of my family of what not to do. By the way, no voices were raised or scene made. It wasn't worth that trouble. And clearly, the light wasn't coming on for Kevin. I order a sweet tea and then change to unsweetened, according to Kevin, it is a different charge. I know Primanti is better than this. Avoid the heartburn and don't buy the Dirty Soda as it is the poorest value on the menu. The food was fresh and tasty, promptly delivered. Shameful that such a simple and inexpensive thing was left unattended. This locations has a lot of tvs dedicated to the best in sports programming. After a long week away from home, facing a 2 hour delay, it wasn't the experience I was hoping for.

It may surprise some to know how many times I've hung out in Pittsburgh in the last 16 years or so,…read morebecause I've never been to a Primanti Bros. before. But then again, I am vegetarian, so I didn't think they offered anything for me. I've looked at the menu online more than once, and didn't see any sandwiches designated vegetarian each time. But I was meeting a friend before a concert on the RMU campus, and this was conveniently located 1 mile away, and it had food and beer. I kept an open mind and figured, I'll just modify one of their sandwiches. When I arrived, I learned they also have a pizza option. But I still thought... when in Rome... There was a black bean option listed on their wall menu, but the waitress double-checked for me and we learned together that they use to offer that option, but no longer do. Damn. There was however a cheese (no meat) option on the menu, which I was surprised wasn't on the online menu. But I'll take it! Their sandwiches are interesting in that instead of sides of french fries and cole slaw, the sides are just stacked into the sandwich to make it a quick easy convenient meal! The draft beer selection was good, the sandwich was decent enough, and the service was great (weekday evening). In the end, I am not sure I'd run back for my one sandwich menu option, maybe I'd try their pizza, or go for some sides, or just stop in for a beer on my way to my next show. I enjoyed the vibe and most everthing about the place, but the sandwich was just okay.

After several days of working long hours and running on…read morevery little sleep, there were only a few things on my young travel companion's mind: sports, food, sleep, and probably girls--in no particular order! With an 8:50 PM flight out of Pittsburgh and not much time to spare, we decided to grab dinner on the way to the airport. I let my travel companion pick the restaurant, and since he's a lot like his father, he made a solid choice. All Star Sports Bar & Grill was conveniently located and an easy stop before heading to the airport. Thankfully, the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived because we still had the rental car return, TSA and a flight ahead of us. We opted for the dining area rather than the bar, which gave me a chance to take in all the sports memorabilia. As a lifelong sports fan, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Being in Pittsburgh, the walls were covered with Steelers and Penguins history, along with plenty of jerseys from players I grew up watching. Our server, Nicole, was excellent from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and quick with recommendations. Before my coworker could even look at the menu, I spotted the Soft Pretzel Sticks and ordered them as an appetizer. Good decision. Warm, salty, and paired perfectly with the cheese sauce. Definitely order these When I asked Nicole for recommendations, she immediately suggested the Reuben and the wings. Had I not eaten a Reuben the day before, that's probably what I would have ordered. As for the wings, I'll admit it--I am a Wing Snob. If they're not homemade or from Western New York, I'm usually passing. That's not a knock on their wings; it's just a very high standard that comes from growing up around some of the best wings in the country. Wanting to try something local, I ordered the Pittsburger. For me, it was just okay. Not bad by any means, and I cleaned my plate, but it wasn't a sandwich I'd order again. Looking back, the Reuben probably would have been the better choice. The fries were also average. I requested them crispy and without seasoning, but they didn't really stand out. Meanwhile, my travel companion ordered boneless wings. What can I say? He's 18. I even tried explaining the superiority of blue cheese over ranch, but that lesson appears to have fallen on deaf ears. Overall, I'm giving All Star Sports Bar & Grill 3 stars. That rating has more to do with my particular food choices and the rushed nature of our visit than the restaurant itself. The sports atmosphere was excellent, the service from Nicole was outstanding, and there were several menu items I'd like to come back and try. If I'm back in the area with more time and a bigger appetite, I'd definitely give this place another shot.
