Really do not like this location at all. I've been here twice in the last 2 months and both times were absolutely terrible! By terrible I mean, I went there and ordered steak (my favorite) and it came out rare and was bloody as can be. They took it back and bring it back and it's not only cut down the middle (definitely a sign the cook doesn't know how to cook steak) but it was severely overcooked!! I asked for it to be cooked medium. Not rare and definitely not well done. Cutting open a steak and still severely overcooking it, let me know to just leave and go to Longhorn up the street. This recent 2nd time is the reason for this review, they only had 2 waitresses and a bartender and the bartender had no customers and continuously sat in the right corner on her phone! Our waitress had 5 different tables and had to constantly go outside because she was also put on to-go orders as well. Me and my fiancé placed and order for 2 margaritas and after seeing the bartender make them and let them sit for 10 minutes because our waitress was running in and out....I got up and went to pick up our drinks!!! The bartender was sitting down in the corner on her phone texting and looked up and watched me get our drinks! As I'm walking away she says "Oh she didn't bring y'all your drinks?" I responded "No she's outside doing to-go orders" at that point we instantly finished our drinks and even with a $14 tab, I left the waitress a $12 tip. She was literally running back and forth trying to serve everyone and yet her coworker sat down texting 3 times in our 25 minutes there. McKenzie if you see this review, you should look at being a waitress somewhere else! That bartender is ruining your growth. We ended up going to chili's for drinks and then to bonefish and ordered 3 more rounds and dinner. Then to Smallcakes in the Webb Gin plaza because I usually order the chocolate cake and Ice cream from applebees but that bartender made me that upset I'd rather go to 3 different places and enjoy myself than to go to one place and be extremely frustrated, pay for drinks I have to get myself all while watching a key employee twiddle her thumbs! read more

Had Uber Eats from Applebee's and it was well above expectations! I had the ribs with side of shrimp. Ribs were tender and sauce was excellent! The shrimp were ok. Wife had the chicken fajita wrap and also good. Took less than 30 MNS for Uber Eats delivery door to door so positive on that point also. Will order again. read more

A friend, & I decided to go to this Applebee's (Scenic Hwy, Snellville, Ga); January 10th. We were quickly seated by the host, & greeted within 5 minutes by our server (Cheeko). I immediately noticed that he was wearing a mask that was pulled down to his chin. I couldn't believe my eyes! I requested for him to pull up his mask, & reminded him that we're in the middle of a devastating pandemic. His exact reply was "I BELIEVE IN GOD!!" I couldn't believe my ears! I respectfully informed him that his personal religious beliefs were irrelevant in his workplace, and that Covid-19 protocols had to be followed. He gave me this look of pity, & continued to "try" to take our order. No way was I going to accept this guy (Cheeko) with my food; & no way was I going to dine @ this specific Applebee's; so we decided to leave. We just couldn't take the chance! This is why patrons fear dining out during this pandemic. To be honest, I was taken by surprise that this was happening @ a popular chain like Applebee's. On our way out I made a complaint with the Manager (Chris); who seemed anxious to get me on my way. Overall I had a feeling of extreme anger for my experience, and pity for incoming customers who had to deal with Cheeko, and his nonchalant, non-caring attitude. I hope someone from Applebee's Corporate Office(s) , reads this, and incorporate more thorough training for their employees. Covid-19 is real, it can be deadly, and it must be taken seriously!! Lastly, I still enjoy Applebee's; & this review is not for all Applebee's locations... Just the Snellville location. I will never, ever spend my hard-earned money in this location again... I haven't been to Applebee's in over 5 years and today I now know why. Worst customer service ever. Walked in the door to a crowd of people waiting to be seated. Several has been there without any acknowledgement from a host. I wanted to leave, however my mentee really wanted their wings. We were finally seated and had our order taken right away. Server was not attentive. He never brought my water, never asked us how was the food or even if we were okay or needed anything. Proceeded to bring us the check. I watched him run around for other tables and ask them if they were okay or needed something many times. I'm not one to bring up race, but it's interesting that he ignored our African American table. I left him a note about the poor service and really didn't want to leave a tip, but chose to leave 10% since our food did come out fast. Our server was not interested in serving us. We had to ask 3 times for a refill then she acted like she had no idea what we were talking about. Then the drink we wanted ran out but instead of coming and telling us she just ignored us. She never stopped by to ask us if we needed anything instead we had to flag her down for her to serve us. Just left here and we are completely pissed off! The food was disgusting! Fries were not hot and half soggy...my husband ordered a burger and asked for an extra patty. They didn't even put the patty on the damn burger and left everything off the burger he asked for! My kids' mini cheeseburger patties were basically burnt. The garlicky green beans I ordered were gross! There was no flavor at all let alone "garlicky" and they were undercooked. The waiter never refilled any of our drinks once! I arrived on a random Tuesday night. They weren't very busy. It took a waitress nearly 10 minutes to take my drink order.....then it was wrong anyway. A margarita that was supposed to be peach and it came out as regular. She said she was gonna bring me ice water- never got it. I went last night with a friend. I haven't been to Applebee's in years and I will never go again. I ordered a perfect margarita and when I went to pour my second glass, there was a hair that came out of the shaker. The server was really nice but I decided to cancel my food order. My friend still ate. I went to the bathroom and decided to hold it. I'll spare you the details but we got there at about 7pm and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. Applebees is a family-friendly establishment full of delicious appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The service is near perfection. Word on the street is Chilis is this establishment's greatest competition, but I believe Chilis does not stand a chance. I haven't had a fine dining experience in months, so this was a nice surprise. The last restaurant I went to was not pleasant at all; I'd never willingly go back. The service was reluctantly slow, the food was served cold, and the desserts were below average. All in all, I'm glad I decided to have dinner in this nice quality restaurant. When I arrived, the place was moderately occupied. Usually, when I drive by, I don't see very many cars in the lot. I was pleasantly surprised by this, so my partner and I decided we should indulge in their specials. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted and offered a table. My server was a young girl around 16 or 17 that was probably in high school. To my surprise, she seemed to know exactly what she was doing. I only make this remark because my previous experience with younger servers has not been the best. The last time I had a young server, he completely messed up my order and confused us for the couple in the booth beside us. I can put him down for one of the worst servers I've ever had. Then, we ordered appetizers and entrees. For our appetizer, we decided on the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. The Dip was creamy and hot with balanced seasoning. For the entree, I ordered the Riblet Basket. Our food came in a decent amount of time, but the meat I ordered tasted somewhat dry with little to no seasoning. We asked for some refreshing flavored lemonades. Our drinks were delightful, but they were not enough to compensate for the lacking flavor. After tasting the unflavored meat, I immediately asked my server for a different item on the menu. I asked her for the 8oz. Top Sirloin steak. She happily took my plate and replied with a cheery attitude ensuring me my next meal would be more than flavorful. My second meal did not take long at all. I was overly satisfied with the quickness in which I was served. While I waited for my food, our server was sure to provide us with refills and napkins for my partner who had begun eating. My partner and I both had a great time. We enjoyed the food and seeing all the beautiful families. After ordering our drinks our waiter came back and told us the drink machine was down but he could still get a sweet tea. 15 minutes later we still hadn't seen them and ended up getting up and leaving. The food had a very strong chemical aftertaste-- both the chicken and the steak. Nothing was seasoned, and the fries were cold and hard. Service was slow and unknowledgeable, and a server at another table was visibly flustered while trying to tally up her checks-- there was lots of huffing and groaning. We came in at around 7pm with a party of 4..the "hostess" told us it would be a 15 minute wait and she didn't need to write our name down because she would "remember us"...fast forward 40 MINUTES LATER and a party of 15 people that arrived 20 minutes AFTER US, was getting sat. I get my food everything was good except one item on my plate was cold. I had to wait to notify her of it being cold. I asked if it can be heated up not remade, but reheated she said " okay I'll have to see." What? My item is cold why do you have to see if you can bring me hot food? I'm really not sure why this location is not fully staffed on a Friday night. My family and others waited over 45 min with several other families who were there well before us. That's not the fault of the employees who were present but a franchise/company issue. One major issue I have is when you see a fellow employee struggling and customer needing assistance and you either 'A' ignore the customer or 'B' have an issue with someone for simply asking for a to-go box to take the trash food we just purchased maybe you shouldn't be in the service industry. Came by to use the order to go. Was directed towards the back. There was no markings to say I was standing in the right place only a register and employee coming and going. No one asked me if I was in need of any assistance. I got tired of standing there so I flagged down someone to ask if this was the right spot to order something to go. The individual said yes but quickly rushed off and left me standing there. When someone finally came to receive my order and after standing there for ten minutes with no service the Applebees employee took an order over the phone. So I had to stand there even longer to receive service when I was clearly there before that phone call came in. Then the employee was going to take another call after that while I was still standing there. I then interrupted her call and asked.."Do call in orders come before people actually standing here to place an order? " she replied.."I need to take this call". I said to her..." If call in order are priority before an actual person standing here. I will leave. Another employee took the call and she took my order. If I wasn't in the mood for some Applebees. Lord have mercy.
