We ordered an appetizer and food at the same time. The appetizer was chips and queso and took at least 20 minutes to come out. Our order was wrong. I asked for honey barbecue wings and they came out as sweet Asian chili. My boyfriend ordered a chicken tender platter which is also 17.25!! Way more than my wings and fries were combined. He asked for barbecue sauce at least 4 times before she brung it out. Overall not good experience and we've always had a good experience here. Very dissatisfied tonight. read more

Applebee's! I think it may be because my wife and kids always want to eat here every time we go out to eat is why I'm not a huge fan. To me, Applebee's is a girly restaurant. I don't know, but I always dread going there, yet the food is always consistent. The Sullivan location is closest to my home and consistently has great waitresses and are friendly keeps my glass from reaching the bottom. The place is always clean and timely on binging your orders. I don't really have anything bad to say, other then I'm just not a big franchise restaurant guy I guess. read more

I've been to A LOT of Applebee's. They're fairly consistent with food and service plus they have a decent HH. The food is nothing to write home about but it's better than fast food and at about the same price...so I don't do fast food anymore. Entered to sit at the bar and the bar was dirty from previous occupants whom I did not see, so it most likely had been setting there a short while. The bartender cleaned off a spot for me but left other dirty dishes next to me throughout my meal. I don't like sitting in other people's trash.. the bartender had no personality and was only an "order taker" and not a salesperson. Oh well this will not be a place I come back to visit I think. Sitting at the bar and having to hear drama of the restaurant behind me as employees talked to the manager sitting at a table wasn't a great atmosphere. The food was prepared well for Applebees. They have been trying to update there menu and play presentations. Doing a good job with that. Overall the visit was mediocre but my tummy got filled and that was pretty much all I was expecting anyways. read more

One star for trying to feed us food from the floor!!! Service was Horrendous! The waitress continued to cut us off while ordering, made excuses for forgetting refills (5 tables besides us in the entire restaurant) when the food arrived it was burnt. One plate was dropped on the floor then 3 minutes later RE-SERVED as "Fresh". They didn't even bother to removed the lint and dirt from the floor food. We didn't eat it and they STILL attempted to argue we did and try to charge us. We left a $3 tip. read more

Horrible food and took forever for our food. Went on a late Friday night. Really slow. Only 2-3 tables and we ordered all you can eat shrimp and chicken for $14.99. Took about 10-15 minutes for each order. The fries were way too salty. I'm not sure what the problem was. But won't be going back any time soon. read more

I've visited this place multiple times and it never ceases to disappoint. Lighting is low so you can't see the dirt on the tables, and my alfredo pasta had (for lack of a better word) a strongly "microwaved" taste to it. I recommend the boneless buffalo chicken if you absolutely have to eat here, but if you're looking for a decent sit-down restaurant in Sullivan, you're better off going to El Nopal or (*shudders*) Steak & Shake. read more

This is probably the worst Applebee's I've been to. The selection is sparse in Sullivan so my friend and I ended up here for lunch. The entire place smells like old smoke and a high number of the booths were ripped with stuffing coming out of them. It looked horrible. Even the chicken fajita roll-up I ordered seemed worse than at other Applebee's. There was a very low amount of chicken on the wrap. However, on the plus side our server was extremely nice. But, please, dear owners of this restaurant - repair the booths! read more

I gave them a chance again today, due to the fact there there are not many choices in Sullivan. I was reminded why I never come here. I ordered a fried chicken salad for a whopping $11.29. Don't get me wrong, I'll pay that for a good salad, but this was not a salad . Hardly any lettuce, and was was there was very low quality. The service was terrible and there was hardly anyone in a restaurant tgat clearly had way more employees than patrons, so, you would expect better service. I won't be returning, probably to any Applebees. My money would have been much better spent on a McDonald's salad, less expensive and more salad, as well as better quality. Service was fine. Our server was new and she did a good job. We got checked on my management a little too much. The quality of our steaks was below par. They were cooked well, but both were a strange log shape and had a thick vein of tendon through them. The marinade or seasoning was too strong. It was just bad cuts of meat. read more

That is the last time we will go to Applebee's in Sullivan Mo. We have tried it 3 times. The service was the best tonight, but the food is terrible. My husband boneless chicken wing. They we so nasty, McDonald's nuggets were better than these. My husband didn't even eat them. I got nachos to share, there was not enough fixings to spread over the chips. They was 2 children and 5 adults, 2 of which shared a appetizers. Our bill was 140.00. Never again! read more

When someone tells you your pick up order will be ready in fifteen minutes but every time you go there it's at least twenty five minutes. You either just plan to pick up later than what they say, or you stop going there. read more

My grandmother and I had a most excellent lunch service. Our waitress was very pleasant and did a great job. Our salads were done well and the lettuce was nice and crisp. Pretty good! We (my boyfriend and I) went here a few months ago an our server was very polite and the food was fantastic and came out in a timely fashion. I have had a LOT of problems at the location in Washington amd refuse to go in there. I was glad to finally find a nice Applebee's that's not a 40 minute drive from where I live because I love their food and drinks and it is a shame that the other location in wash has terrible service.
