Famous French Onion Soup 1 lb Frisco's Famous Wings by the Pound
    Sarah T.

We've been a big fan of their famous wings since about 2014. They are both sweet and hot and absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked! The Frisco Railroad motif throughout the establishment (along the tracks in a darling mural town) is lovely. Enjoy a pound of wings, but place an order to go (1#, 3#, or 5#) because you'll crave them when you get home (to St Louis in our case)! Ask for extra sauce for reheating. Blare the train whistle! Enjoy.

Decadently sweet and creamy cotton-candy ice cream!

Food was superb! Wings are a must try, fish and chips with slaw was like no other, one of the best burgers ever, and the desserts were satisfyingly sweet. Our waiter was friendly, engaging, and kept the refills coming. Loved the moving train window scenery by our oversized booth. Plan to return and try their other offerings.

House salad. French and blue cheese dressing on the side.

Our food was very good! The fried pickles were actually made in house and not a pre-breaded item. The artichoke spinach dip was very tasteful and the chips with it were freshly fried. Salad was nice and fresh!! The prime rib was excellent. I ordered an extra size cut, and it was reasonably priced. Very flavorful. The service was very good. Our server was very attentive, I apologize for not remembering her name. Only issue was that the salad was brought out before the appetizers were finished. The Manager, Carey was attentive and visited the table enough to ensure that we were satisfied. The atmosphere was inviting. The decor reflected the old train station. The bar side of the house was very busy. Lots of people were eating in the bar rather than the dining room. I feel that they value matched the price.! Overall a great dining experience!

    View from the train tracks!

The very best traditional hot wings that money can buy!!! Fast friendly service! 44 mile trip from home and worth every mile every time!!! Rail road themed place with a view like watching out the window of your rail car!!!

Frisco What a great time I had there to learn the history of this place. A original train depot. Had a conversation with the owner and learned about his recent addition. In the back of the restaurant in the main dining room are four windows that basically make you feel like you're sitting on the train as you are passing by the landscape, what a excellent idea. Kiyah was great and I really enjoyed chatting with the owner, Jimmy. The only thing that I disliked about this place was the smoking in the bar area. I am not a smoker nor do I care for it. Everything else was top notch. Make sure you check some other things around the area, super fun good time for a stroll. I WOULD recommend.

I would love to get into the store and get my hands on a package of those, but alas, unless I shop between Monday and Friday, 11-4, I am out of luck. Imagine my horror as we pulled up at 2pm on a Saturday (after coming here on Saturdays before) after going to the store and buying everything my hubby needed to make me his amazing Lobster Ravioli, which is actually Midwest Pastas ravioli, but he makes a killer sauce for it, and its closed. So basically if you have a 9-5 job, you will never, ever be able to discover the wonderful things they offer here, which is a shame, and odd. Please for the love of God, open back up on Saturdays, thanks.

If you adore Italian good...if you're a budding…read morechef or just want to up your pasta game on date night, this local business is your wingman. Midwest Pasta provides fresh pasta and flour to local restaurants. So they make their products in batches -- but anyone can walk in and purchase. There is always a supply of fresh pasta in the refrigerated section, as well as some frozen. I've had their mushroom ravioli, fettucini, gnocchi, pappardelle, and meat tortellini. Everything is DELICIOSO!! Their customer service is awesome. I stopped in to buy some fresh pasta, and was advised on what might pair best for my meal plan; and because I was traveling got an ice pack to help the pasta stay cooled. There is also a very small display of imported olives, olive oil, pesto, etc. However, the options are limited and display is limited to just a couple shelves. This is not a huge grocery, but it will accommodate small foodies out exploring the Cherokee Street Benton Park neighborhood. Double check store hours. They DO close early. So be sure to check hours and plan your visit accordingly. You'll miss out if you think you're stopping by after work or on the weekend.

This Brick and mortar Italian restaurant is more than meets the eye! Pastas, all you can eat breadsticks, Italian sandwiches, and even Italian donuts with chocolate sauce! We ordered Garlic Shrimp Stuffed Shells, a Classic Sampler, Loaded Alfredo and an Italian sandwich. And of course we had to order the donuts! Speaking of ordering...it's time to mention that the workers behind the counter were super nice and helpful. Telling us about their menu and staying on top of the breadsticks. The food was great! Now, if you're looking for the most authentic, from scratch Italian food you've ever had in your life... keep looking. But if you're looking for something comparable to Olive Garden, but cheaper...quicker, and imo just as good... you've found it at Fazolis! The food was actually sooo gooood!!! Finally, the restaurant was clean, quiet and I appreciate the super cheap kids night events they were advertising! All around great place for family dinner. Try it out next time.

There's both tables and booths along the walls. If you're in a larger party I def recommend calling ahead. We've had cocktails here, chicken parm sandwich, grilled chicken panino sandwich, fratellis salad, chicken Alfredo, tutto mare, spaghetti, the al formaggio, and the affogato. Everything has been delicious, fresh, and hot! The only complaint I'd make is that although it says panini for sandwiches they aren't the traditional paninis that are pressed & grilled but instead are just sandwiches so that was disappointing to find out after the fact. The staff are so friendly and attentive we hadn't been for almost 2 months and our waitress still remembered us & what I usually order. I love getting the al formaggio but instead of ravioli I get fettuccine, I love being able to have a portion of all 3 yummy sauces they have. Overall a great restaurant! I love that it's family owned, fresh ingredients, and a lot of stuff made from scratch (complimentary bread is yummy). My only true complaint would be that they don't sell that creamy Italian dressing by the bottle, would totally buy it all the time it's so yummy! Anytime we're in the area we'll be stopping by.
