    St. Louis style ribs

Y'all, this pizza oven cooks the *best* pizza! I saw someone's review of a pulled pork/mushroom pizza and I couldn't think of anything else. So we ordered that, with half regular red sauce and half BBQ sauce. Like swirled together. It was excellent! We also got an order of (4) St. Louis style ribs. The ribs MELTED in our mouths. It was tender and delicious. I used the bbq sauce to dip my pizza, and it was a delicious meal! Service was wonderful! The owner greeted us as we entered the door. And if you go on a Sunday, they have fried chicken which smelled *amazing*! I'm pretty sure, anything you eat here will be really tasty.

    Amazing ribs!

Amazing! Best bbq ribs and the onion rings were so good! Small place in pacific, mo. The pizza was 10/10 brick oven crust.

I will give 4 stars to Brown Jerry's Blues Brews and Barbecue. After a long day at Six Flags St. Louis, we decided to come here for a bbq dinner. We tried the BBQ Sausage platter, and the BBQ Brisket Sandwich. Both of them were pretty good and a big portion size. The sausage had a lot of flavor and both meals came out fresh and hot- our favorite side was probably the fries but the potato salad and greens were also good. Service was decent, was sad I couldn't get just a "brisket platter" and only the sandwich, as the brisket platters are apparently exclusive for a "catering menu". Overall, it's a nice, smaller sized bar type restaurant with a stage, so I assume they have live music on certain nights as well.

Service was impeccable! Our server was super attentive with refills and was just really on top of everything. Food came out quickly and it was a quick lunch during the workday! Food wise, the fries and ranch were honestly the stars of my meal. The fries were so well seasoned and I wish I could drink this ranch. It had so much flavor. Unfortunately I was kind of let down by the Mac and cheese- it was somewhat gritty and had a different type of flavor cause it was baked. The brisket sandwich was fine but very lean and somewhat dry. I'd definitely be willing to go back and try something else or maybe we just went on a Bad day. But the staff was so friendly and definitely a reasonable price for everything.

We were able to enjoy a really nice meal and stay on track with our dietary restrictions. Had salads with turkey and they were delicious! The portion was generous and the turkey came out steaming hot and juicy. We bought some brisket and turkey to take back to our friends but it wasn't as good, both were very dry. I guess it just doesn't travel well. Still we will come back again to eat in house!

I am so happy that I stumbled across this hidden gem after my day at six flags St louis! WOW. I wanted some authentic St. louis food and I got it. The service was fast and the food was great. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. It's also a lot cheaper than eating at the theme park.

Tender Pork Steak. Warm corn bread with butter

The pork steak was so tender and tasty My server was exceptionally great. The place was warm and the staff were very welcoming. I was startled when I heard this noise. OMG it was a train that went around the place near the ceiling. I can't wait to come back for the fried chicken

Top notch place! Wonderful food, great service, and awesome value! I expected my Brisket Mac & Cheese to be mac & cheese with a little brisket, but it leaned heavily towards brisket with a little mac & cheese! SO GOOD!!! Their baked beans are unique and delicious too. Great local place.

Great food and service. It's a hidden gem! I am not a big fan of barbecued food, but this is probably the best I've ever had. They don't use too much smoke, just the right amount. My husband got ribs and I got the sliders. One brisket and one pulled pork. The brisket was sliced nice and thin. The sides were great as well.

Comfortable casual pub. Outdoor seating helped an otherwise indoor seating area which was packed when we arrived for lunch on a Saturday. The menu includes their specialty barbecue meats which are present in many of their dishes. They are delicious! Very few people were empty handed of take/home boxes. Portions are ample plus. Adequate bar service. The wait staff was efficient while the kitchen had trouble keeping up with orders, so we had a 30 minute wait on food. Busy!! Enjoyed a lunch stop here.

Pro tip: please check their facebook page for updated hours, contact information, and menu of the day. I stopped by to place a carry out order. The team was so welcoming and friendly. That perfect sincere hospitality you don't see too much anymore. The space is absolutely adorable and comfortable. When my order was ready, I was handed a bag that easily weighed five pounds! I went with the blackberry fried chicken. This is like nothing I've ever had. The chicken was super crispy like Korean fried chicken and just covered in a sweet sticky blackberry sauce. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. Every single bite was perfect. I went with the macaroni and cheese and greens for my sides. Both came served in generous portions of deliciousness. The greens might be a little spicy if you don't like heat. My order came with two cornbread muffins. The meal was a very generous and a filling one. I also picked a slice of peach cobbler cheesecake from the dessert case. While tasty, I would have preferred one or the other. Both cheesecake and cobbler in one dessert was just a little too much for me. But delicious nonetheless. I can see why this spot comes with such great accolades for food service and hospitality.

Not only was the food amazing, but the service was also impeccable. The waitress was so nice, and she gave us history on the restaurant and her family. There were pictures of her family on the walls, and they even had a tree branch with wooden portraits of family members (family tree). It was so cool!! The food was so good!! We had the chicken wings, greens, mac and cheese, yams, and catfish. The portion sizes were huge, so we had food to go. A person in our party had the red beans and rice and fried corn and she said the red beans and rice was some of the best she has ever had, and the sauce on the fried corn was good. The cook's husband came out and talked to us at the end of our meal and gave us some background on how he was also in the military, retired and is now working at the restaurant with his wife along with his government job. Everybody was just so nice and welcoming, and it definitely was a great experience. The prices for the food was very affordable considering the portion sizes. We have to go back in January for her next graduation. We will definitely be going back to eat there. I can taste it already!!

I've been there once or twice over the years, and I've eaten from the food truck once or twice. The fried chicken is fine but kinda underwhelming. It's good, but not to the point where it justifies the price. It's served on a metal tray, on a piece of wax paper, as if it were premium Texas barbecue, but at the end of the day, it's not barbecue. It's just fried chicken. The dirty little secret of fried chicken is that it's not especially hard to make decent-quality fried chicken. They sell it at gas stations, in grocery stores. Popeyes employees lacking in basic life skills, whom you wouldn't trust to make a cup of coffee, routinely crank out a product as good as anything else you can get in a restaurant. Not that I'm complaining. I love Grace! It's where I go when my "bad" cholesterol is too low and the balance in my checking account is too high. I'm at a problematic and yet gratifying state of equlibrium after yesterday's visit. I already kinda knew that I wasn't going to bother with the chicken, but I could hardly read the menu. I almost went with a half-chicken just to avoid having to squint. They've got one of those backlit screens, like at a McDonald's (where everyone just uses the kiosk now anyway), but with worse fonts and less line-spacing. I'm sure they paid a premium for it back in '06 or whatever. Everything in this place is peak stomp clap-era millennial optimism, from back when guys were dressing as lumberjacks. Of course there's a random, incongruous smash burger on the menu. They may or may not be playing Mumford & Sons on the Muzak. I figured the chicken sandwich, called the OG Crispy, would be a good opportunity to compare it to the famous chicken sandwich at the aforementioned Popeyes. Also, it comes with fries, which spared me from having to take out a loan on my house to purchase them a la carte. At $16 (I think), it'll definitely run you, but in general, the prices here seem less ridiculous than they used to. It's still entirely too much, but somehow not much more than you'd spend at a fast food restaurant. Are the fries that come with a sandwich the same size that they are if you order them separately? Supposedly, the a la carte side feeds two. I couldn't imagine two people sharing the side that comes with the OG Crispy. Someone might get cut! It was a perfectly fine size for just me. They're seasoned with some sort of blend that's heavy on the black pepper. I would have been fine with just salt, but this was no dealbreaker. The OG Crispy was great! Was it better than the chicken sandwich at Popeyes? It's hard to say. It's probably a better quality piece of chicken. Similar size. Expertly prepared: nice and crisp on the outside and not overcooked on the inside, which is key for white meat. You're given the choice of regular or hot. I of course went with the hot. I wish the sauce had more tang to it, but it was surprisingly and delightfully hot. Spicy foods in non-ethnic restaurants are so often nerfed, for children and, erm, non-ethnics. A few people at my table had the po boys, both shrimp and catfish. They looked really good, and not as skimpy as they look in some of the photos posted here. I might have to try one, once my LDL subsides and my financial situation recovers. Sandwiches might be the thing to get here. Not that you can truly go wrong with anything.

Quality, quantity and price seem to be well balanced. Albeit a tad bit on the expensive side. Look to spend about $12 for a sandwich and side. The turkey, brisket and sausage are all great. The brisket is pulled not sliced or chopped. It makes for a great tasting sandwich that doesn't need much sauce at all. Although the sauce is pretty darn good they get 5 stars for not needing it.
