We were here on Valentine's Day the male waiter with a long pony tail (didn't catch his name) was a sweetheart and he was running for tables that weren't even his. We ultimately decided to leave early because grown adults at the bar were screaming profanity and acting like fools at a family friendly restaurant while the female bartender egged it on also we couldn't even hear each other speak much less our waiter because the music was so loud. My server was the bartender named Sue, and she was lovely. Very pleasant, funny, and efficient. The sweet tea was to die for! My burger was good as well. The fries were cold, but when Sue did her check back, I mentioned that, and she apologized and immediately got us some hot ones with a smile. I loved the jukebox, even tho it was a little expensive, but what isn't these days? It was a great lunch I would definitely recommend. Oh and the cheese sticks were yummy as well. read more

Today, hubby and I was working in Vienna, WV and decided to grab some lunch at Applebee's. We were seated quickly and waitress brought our drinks quickly as well. Tony went with Bud Light $3 draft special and I has unsweetened tea with lemon & lime. We asked for the All U can Eat and First Platter out to us was the Shrimp, Fry's, Slaw which we thought was the best of all three platters, just straight out Delicious! The Second Platter was the Ribs but we asked for half of the Fry's and no more Slaw, it seem to us there was good bit bones in them, but the sauce was good and the meat was cooked Great. The Third Platter was Wings we asked for no Fry's or Slaw, the wings was a Little Hard n Crunchy but after getting them open Wing Meat was good and sauce was good. We just think we should stuck with all 3 Platters of Shrimp, but 1/2 way thru each Platter we was asked if we wanted the next Platter brought out, we told the Waitress not at this time due size of Tables & Size of Platter Plates it would just get to crowded on Table, so once we finished a platter the next was brought. We stopped at Applebee's Saturday. First, there was no bread on the table, which is unusual for a sit-down restaurant. My wife's portion of salmon was small, as were her potatoes as well as mine. My steak was tough and chewy. We were highly disappointed. For $52, we expected more and better. The mozzarella sticks were good though. Without some sort of financial inducement to do so (a couple of decent dinners, or perhaps one), we will not be back. read more

I was looking forward to the Chicken won-tons..and was VERY disappointed!! The chicken cubes were highly processed, the "wrap" or tortilla is now just a tiny square. I can honestly say that this was the worst experience ever for getting car side pickup anywhere. The food was over 30 minutes late from the time we were supposed to arrive. One of the sauces came open and was all over everything inside the bag. There's nothing like buffalo sauce on everything. There were two burgers in the order. One was supposed to be the meatless burger. It turned out to be a regular burger. The person who wanted it doesn't eat meat and was thoroughly disgusted by this. This was after taking a few bites that this was noticed. All of the food was completely cold. The french fries were totally stale. It makes me proud of paying almost 30 dollars for absolute garbage! Went for the 1/2 price appetizers from 3-6. Food was good, but the server was terrible. He took our order and we never saw him again except for when he waited on the2 ladies behind us. Never came back to check on us or refill our drinks. He finally brought our check to us and we asked him for to go cups since he never refilled our drinks. Great place to eat. Nice waiters. Great service. If they get your order wrong they automatically fix what they messed up.

We walked through the door and were seated immediately, no problem, until we asked for a booth instead of a high table. The hostess rolled her eyes and lead us to our table with a forced smile and bad attitude. Great start, but that did not stop the evening. Our Waiter Lyle was attentive, always checking on our order, the salads were wonderful, the boneless wings as crunchy and amazing as ever; my husband steak was cooked to perfection. The American Standard Hamburger had much to be improved upon however. I have always held Applebees Cheeseburgers to a higher standard than most places. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Wait staff is ok but the kitchen staff is questionable. Our table ordered Taco Queso Dip with chips. There was maybe 1/2 oz of ground beef on top of queso dip. It was served in a bowl with a plate of tasteless corn chips. Very colorless and bland looking. Not worth the price. Two of us ordered strawberry lemonade. It was a small amount of strawberry syrup in the bottom of the glass with 3 slices of fresh strawberries with watered down lemonade. The waitress said to stir it up but that was impossible to do with a flimsy straw. Ordered Chicken Wonton Stir Fry which was described as grilled chicken with stir fry vegetables in a spicy sauce. The chicken was grilled and the sauce was spicy yet the vegetables never saw any heat. They were raw and merely placed on top of the rice with the grilled chicken. read more

I can't believe I'm the first person to write a review of this Applebee's! It's a pretty standard location, I guess, but it's a little on the small side. We seem to have bad luck with music at this location for some reason. The first time we visited was for lunch on Valentine's Day this year, and they had a roving barbershop quartet. It seems like a nice idea in theory, but they were being kind of annoying and were way too loud for such a small space. When we went there again last night, the music on the PA system was way too loud, and not just loud but jangly, like the radio was between stations. That was really annoying, so we asked the waitress if she could change it or turn it down, and she said no. Maybe this was just a one-time thing, though, so I won't grade them too hard for that. The food is exactly what you'd expect from Applebee's-- mediocre and loaded with salt. Actually, though, last night I tried one of the new Weight Watchers entrees, which are, among other things, supposed to be lower in sodium. Guess what? Instead of being loaded with salt, it was loaded with salt substitute! This put the clincher on it for me, and I don't think we'll be coming back here again in the future. read more

Order2 (husband's): Chicken Freshcado. First time he had it and it was excellent. Service: Laramie B was very prompt, friendly, and went above and beyond with our picky needs. I got a text to download the YELP app to check the status of my wait-time, however, upon installing the app, and using the same mobile phone number given to the hostess.
