My wife called Military Plumbing and was told that they would have someone out today, 5/15/26, between 5pm and 7pm and that there would be a $199 fee for coming out the same day. My wife was told that if someone cancelled their appointment, the plumber would be out earlier than the appointed time. Nobody showed up during that window. My wife called back and talked with someone who said they would contact the driver and have the driver call my wife. By 10pm, nobody had called my wife. I called and talked to someone in their 24-hour call center and was told that they got a manager involved and the manager would research the issue and call my wife back. My wife needed to leave my mother-in-law's house today and head back home for appointments all next week. This debacle has cost them travel time and they may be having to cancel doctor appointments over this. This is unacceptable business practices, and I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. ** EDIT - They called the very next morning, apologized and sent someone out immediately. Because the coating was pealing off. Nothing actually wrong. $21.49x2 They quoted me $2270.00. That is $250 in parts. $2020 in labor. It took me 4 hours to complete all task. I am not a plumber. So they should have been even faster. $505.00 an hour plus $89.00 just for showing up. This company is a ridiculously high.

I was just scammed out of almost 4,000…read more I honestly admit I should have gotten a second opinion because that sounded like too much money for a compressor but I am a single female and I had used this company TWICE before. Nathan is a NEW owner and he took my money and pretended to install a new compressor and 30 minutes after he left, it stopped working. I called and called and he would not answer. He finally came back a few days later (said all his tools were locked in his truck) and he said he saw what the problem was and would come back in a few days to fix the "secondary" problem. All the while being as friendly as he could be. I immediately called a new company out who showed me the serial number inside was the original compressor from 2017 and NOTHING was new and it was filthy. They fixed it that night. Nothing needed to be changed out. I was able to put a stop payment on the credit card for 1/2 the amount (hopefully) but the rest was cash. (stupid). He said his card reader wasn't working. THIS IS NOT THE SAME COMPANY AS BEFORE. HE IS A FRAUD.

So another AC repair company, Rescue air, had just told me I needed to replace my evaporator coil…read more I decided to get a second opinion and have One hour come over and look at the system as they had done some work for me in the past. The tech did not find anything wrong with the evaporator coil (which would've been a $5100 repair). However, he claimed that there were all these leaks in the ducts and they needed to be cleaned as well. He also said the AC unit needed to be cleaned and a UV light should be added. The cost of all the work that he said was needed was, surprisingly, also $5100. I thought his findings to be odd since I've had the system looked at many times before and no one has said anything about leaks in the ducts (although I had been told there was a lot of biological material in the AC unit). I decided to get a third opinion and that company could not find any leaks in the ductwork, and while the AC unit needed to be cleaned and add a UV light, what was actually needed (if I wanted to eliminate the biological growth) was actually more like $1100, a much lower price point. Before getting any work by them done, make sure to get at least a second opinion.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with W3 Electric Heating & A/C. Our AC went…read moreout during the recent heat wave, and because it happened late in the day, I spent quite a bit of time calling around trying to find someone who could help. I had called W3 but did not leave a message, and first thing the next morning they actually called me back after seeing the missed call. I believe it was Alison who helped get everything scheduled, and she was incredibly kind and helpful from the start. They were able to get a technician out to us that same day. Chad and Sam were both fantastic throughout the process. The issue turned out to be more complicated than a simple repair and was ultimately traced to a failed control board that had to be ordered. Rather than simply leaving us without AC while we waited for the part, they took the time to set up a temporary solution so we could at least have cooling during some of the hottest weather of the summer. When that temporary fix stopped working the next day, I called W3 and they sent someone right back out. Fortunately, it was a small issue with the temporary setup, they corrected it, and it held until the replacement part arrived. Once the new part was installed, everything was restored properly, and the system has been running smoothly ever since. What impressed me most was the responsiveness, professionalism, clear communication, and willingness to actually work through the problem instead of rushing the diagnosis or leaving us to deal with the heat while waiting on the part. From the initial scheduling call through the technicians in the field, I genuinely felt like they cared about getting us taken care of. I was so impressed with the service that I ended up signing up for their maintenance membership so we can stay on top of regular HVAC inspections going forward.
