My mother-in-law's refrigerator was leaking. The repairman told her to call a plumber because it was an issue with the pipes. My wife called Military Plumbing and was told that they would have someone out today, 5/15/26, between 5pm and 7pm and that there would be a $199 fee for coming out the same day. My wife was told that if someone cancelled their appointment, the plumber would be out earlier than the appointed time. Nobody showed up during that window. My wife called back and talked with someone who said they would contact the driver and have the driver call my wife. By 10pm, nobody had called my wife. I called and talked to someone in their 24-hour call center and was told that they got a manager involved and the manager would research the issue and call my wife back. My wife needed to leave my mother-in-law's house today and head back home for appointments all next week. This debacle has cost them travel time and they may be having to cancel doctor appointments over this. This is unacceptable business practices, and I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. ** EDIT - They called the very next morning, apologized and sent someone out immediately. If I could leave a zero star review I would! I called military plumbing because I figured it was veteran owned. They charged $89.00 for the service call. I needed the Badger 3/4 hp Garbage disposal changed $178.00. A Pfister bathroom sink cartridge change out. $10.89 for cold $12.49 for hot. And two bathroom sink drains change out. Because the coating was pealing off. Nothing actually wrong. $21.49x2 They quoted me $2270.00. That is $250 in parts. $2020 in labor. It took me 4 hours to complete all task. I am not a plumber. So they should have been even faster. $505.00 an hour plus $89.00 just for showing up. This company is a ridiculously high. read more

No parts, labor, cost for trenching, or estimat on the duration of the work. The reason for a 2 star rating is solely due to what I consider to be exorbitant pricing, and nothing to do with the quality of service provided. To be fair, Military Plumbing responded to my yelp service request immediately (around 8p or 9p in the night), and scheduled a tech to visit our home next day afternoon. I thought this was very prompt. Where I have an issue is the price that I was charged. We had a clog in the sink in the kitchen. It was obvious that the pipe right below the kitchen sink was clogging (and not the entire line, as the garbage disposal side was draining well). I have done similar jobs on my own in the past - takes about 15-30 mins to remove the pipe and clear out the clog, and put it back on. Our tech did exactly that - spent about 20 minutes to fix the clog and change a gasket. But we were charged a whopping $650 for this. While I understand the company doesn't charge labor by the hour, this is essentially a $1200 per hour rate - no one in America makes that much unless you are Elon Musk or Tim Cook. This was such a simple job, and the only reason I didn't do it myself was because we just moved into the house and I was very busy with unpacking and my work. To be honest, this felt like day light robbery. This shouldn't have cost anything more than their call visit price (which was $89). So while the service was prompt and professional, I will not be going back to Military Plumbing as I refuse to get fleeced. Great honest diligent service. Our spigot froze after the freeze a few weeks ago. The spigot broke off and my husband had to shut off water main to mitigate water flowing. It was a Sunday late afternoon when this happened. We called 1/2 dozen plumbers. Military plumbing was the only company who would come out on a Sunday in an emergency. He came as promised and replaced the spigot. He was very diligent to ensure the work looked good and it did. We were his last call for the night and he worked until late in the evening. Great work. Cleaned up nicely after job completed. Great service! Good honest plumbers are hard to find. This company is both. Will definitely call him again when needed. read more

We have finally found a great "go-to" plumber in Dallas! We have used this company 3 times now for 2 small jobs and 1 large one. On the large job, we had a recurring problem with old pipes that finally failed and shut down most of the drainage in our house as the location of the problem was by the part of the pipes that exits the house then goes out to the curb. We got other quotes, and Military gave us a great price. They even came out and got started on the weekend to get us back up and running more quickly. I called to get an estimate on replacing my shower faucets because the water kept running. This was not an emergency so I was open to any availability and they came out the next day. My faucet problem was assessed and sadly to fix it the title would have to come off. I was asked what I wanted to do and given many options. Fast response! Fast service! My toilet was overflowing and had NO IDEA how to stop it!!! They tried giving me instructions over phone, but I had no clue as I was so nervous, my house was getting water in every room!!! Disclaimer: I have not had any work done yet. I called their office on Friday afternoon​ , and they were able to come to my house early morning yesterday. I had this company out to look at different things to make sure they were working correctly and to look at some things that I wasn't sure about. They did not rush me to get going to their next call and even though they were here probably about an hour they did not charge me for their time. This may be the standard, but I did not feel like they were trying to find things that were wrong so they could get money out of me. Long review, but worth the read as I'm sure it will save you money and frustration. In short, no I do not recommend them at all. I contacted Military Plumbing on March 21st 2022 regarding a leak coming from a faucet in the backyard of one of my rental properties. When they arrived (I believe the plumber dispatched was named Juan), I was called and told that the price would be $700 per 3x3 hole that they had to dig to find the problem. It seemed to be pretty obvious where the leak was coming from so I thought it was a little excessive that they would charge me $700 for that, but hey whatever. I mentioned that I was out snowboarding when they called and I just agreed to the price, which is where I believe I went wrong. They call me back about an hour or two later saying the job was done, so I sent over the payment. My tenant called me shortly after saying that water was still pooling up around the faucet, so I called Military Plumbing back and they went back to check it out and then said that a washer in the pump needed to be replaced. So I explained that they told me the job was done and I paid what was owed, but since the water was still leaking it meant that the job obviously had NOT been completed. So the next day they sent someone (I believe it was Juan again) to replace the washer. A few days later around the 2nd my tenant send me pictures of the water doing the exact same thing, but me thinking they had fixed the problem, told him that the water probably just hadn't been able to evaporate since the weather hadn't been too nice. About a week later he contacted me again saying that it's leaking from the same spot again, and sends me some pictures. So I contact Military Plumbing again and they send someone different out, a man named Chris. So Chris gives me call saying that it looks as if someone has been pulling the pole and for that reason, they won't be able to honor their warranty. Which to me was completely unacceptable cause 1) of you look at the pictures they send after the job was completed the first time, you can see that they didn't pack the dirt around the base of the faucet, so common sense would tell you that high winds could tip it over (and the man I spoke with on the phone agreed that could be a possibility, especially since there had been a few storms in the area since the initial "repair". 2) The warranty doesn't state anything that would void the warranty. What makes more sense, a grown man pulling and kicking a faucet for no reason whatsoever, or high winds blowing it over to the angle it was when they arrived the very first time? The hose is extremely long so more than long enough to get water to all the kennels back there so he had no need to even tug on the hose. The man I spoke with on the phone said that he can't keep sending people out there to do the job and not make any money, which I understand but maybe you should of done it right the first time before charging someone $700. He even went as far to say that he had them replace the entire pump last time, not just the washer. Which I told him I didn't believe since it looks to be the exact same pump. I lived there for 10years so I think I recognize the pump I used 3 times a day for 10years. He then said that he would send someone to pull the pump up and put a shorter one in its place so we could avoid it moving and damaging the pipe in the future. I was first quoted $700 for that but he then said I'm the same breath that he would do it for half price to try and work with me. While I do appreciate the offer, it's still unacceptable. The job wasn't done right the first time and it came with a 1year warranty, so why should I have to pay $350 for them to do it again? He said it would come with a warranty as well, but if you're not honoring your initial warranty, why would I trust another one from you? As I told him, I'm sure if something messed up, you would just come up with some other reason of why the job isn't covered under the warranty. I would understand the cost of materials but not labor cost as well when once again, I already paid them $700 to fix this problem not even 2-3weeks ago. When I mentioned the situation to other people, they were blown away by the price I initially paid, so I checked around other places to get it repaired. I ended up paying someone $200 to do it and & $50 of that was from me offering him $50 extra to go the same day to get it taken care of. If you look at the pictures of the pump that was pulled up, you'll see that there's no way it had only been in the ground for 10days or so like they claimed when they said that they replaced the entire pump. Unfortunately, the amount of frustration that went into this, and not to mention the extremely high costs, and in my opinion, shady business, made this an extremely unpleasant, semi unprofessional, experience at best. We had a mysterious leak of the house. Military plumbers came out the next day and ruled out both the sewer and water systems, leaving only the sprinkler system as the culprit. We had an issue with our septic tank backing up into our downstairs one Saturday. We thought it was a simple clog issue turned out we needed to replace the entire pipe going from our house to our tanks thanks to some really bad diy repairs done by the previous owners. The guys were the best through our whole process and explained everything that they saw and did. We called them on Saturday morning and everything was fixed and covered back up on Tuesday afternoon. Military Plumbing is the best! They are prompt, fair and reliable. My mother and father had a plumbing nightmare involving the drain line going from their kitchen to the main line. Basically from one end of the house to the other. We originally called another plumbing company out, they gave us a quote which I thought was fair price until the tunneling process began. They collected $2k before they begin to work. The digging crew started at 8:30am, took an hour lunch, left at 1:30 pm and never returned!!! They left a 4 foot hole on the side of the house. My senior parents didn't have access to their laundry room kitchen sink, dishwasher, etc.... After a week of chasing them down they agreed start back up but the price tripled. We were shocked and started calling around to other companies. Thankfully my sister asked Facebook for any recommendations. That is where we found Military Plumbing and I thank God we did. They are a Christian based company and extremely trustworthy. Jeff (the owner) came out and ran a camera inside the pipe. Not only did he show us where the break started, he took the time to explain the entire process. He was very upfront about the price. He had one price per square foot, period. No "hidden fees", no "extra fees", no "add ons". Simply one price per foot for the job. We were amazed how honest and kind he was. He started the following day. The digging crew went to work...... rain or shine, they were there every day. They worked late and cleaned up their mess every night. Jeff does all the plumbing repairs himself so there was no question that it was fixed properly. He completed the repairs in one day, city inspected the next day and the backfill process began.
