Avoid at all costs - if you get a working machine great, if you don't you're out of luck and money with this company. Long story short - they delivered 2 "brand new" washers with huge holes in the drum and are taking no responsibility and we have yet to receive a refund or confirmation of a refund and it's been almost 3 weeks since our order. We bought a brand new Whirlpool washer/dryer set on 4/26/25. All seemed well and John Hartley the salesman seemed helpful and kind. We ended up buying brand new (instead of scratch and dent) to avoid any possible issues down the road. Delivery was 4/29/25 and within 20 minutes of the washer being installed and running the test cycle, water was leaking all over the floor. The delivery people refused to come back and check their own installation. We called the store and was told that we needed to call Whirlpool to get a technician out to look at the machine. The technician arrived on Thursday (5/1/25) and the moment he took the cover off the machine he noticed a huge hole right in the drum which was the source of the leak. He actually told us that this was caused by either the delivery team dropping the unit or someone mishandling and dropping it at the Appliance Factory warehouse or somewhere along the line from the manufacturer. We called Appliance Factory back and asked them to send out a new machine - we were extremely patient with them but frustrated since this was brand new, but mistakes happen right? They delivered another brand new machine on 5/8/25 and I personally went out to meet the drivers and had them open the cover on the driveway and it revealed another even bigger hole in the drum. I rejected the delivery and they took the machine away and since we still had the old broken machine in our basement I demanded that they take that one as well since what were we going to do with a broken washer? We decided we no longer wanted the dryer either since it was clear to us they are selling defective machinery and have no integrity behind the products they are selling. We have talked with management (Doug) and John 5+ times since this entire situation and they do not stand behind the products they are selling and are quick to throw the manufacturer under the bus. If you encounter an issue with anything you buy from them, they have no repair team or refund process that doesn't involve them getting a credit from the manufacturer before releasing your money back to you. They will continue to hold your money hostage and claim that everything is "above their paygrade" and "out of their control". They also told us that they found 14 units with holes in the drum that were supposedly "new" so who knows what they are actually selling to you. Doug (the manager of this store who avoids getting on the phone and prefers his salespeople be the buffer between him and customers unless you call the president's hotline) has no integrity, compassion, or thought behind his actions. Finally, finally a couple of things have been done to, from Appliance Factory's point of view, correct the problem. But when you buy a brand new washer and dryer and one will not start immediately upon delivery, that's problematic. This mother wanted for her child to have a perfect washer and dryer. Otherwise I could have saved a fortune by going on FB marketplace. But instead I purchased "brand new" at Appliance Factory and got something that did not work AT ALL. Ya, somebody came to fix it the next week but that's not what I had in mind. How long before it breaks again, or the brand-new dryer goes? So they did throw in a warranty, which at least if we have junky appliances that will come in handy. Also a small amount was returned to us but for Heavens sake, what I wanted was appliances in perfect, brand-new condition. I do appreciate that AF did something but it took ALOT to get these concessions mentioned above. They promised the refund and the warranty and I can't tell you how many times we had to call and continue to beg for it. Bottom line- a person buys brand new for a reason. It did not come to fruition in this scenario and I would never advise shopping here unless you have an aggravation meter that goes for a long way. read more

Our experience at Appliance Factory was efficient and highly satisfactory. My parents were visiting and wanted to give us a housewarming gift in the form of a new dishwasher and microwave. After some online research, Appliance Factory looked really promising. We were greeted at the door by a salesperson named Cory, who walked us through the store and gave us the highlights of each dishwasher based on our needs. Unfortunately, the brand of dishwasher we wanted was significantly back-ordered due to nationwide supply chain issues (not Appliance Factory's fault); however, Cory helped us find the next best thing and the decision was super easy. We're really satisfied with our fancy new dishwasher and our dishes are so clean! My only complaint is the communication. The microwave we ordered was on backorder, and I was told it would be about two weeks before it came in. I called recently and was told it wouldn't be in until end of December. The supply chain is out of their control, but I would appreciate updates when my order gets pushed back. Additionally, I was given a delivery date for our dishwasher and was told I would get a call from the delivery person to set up a specific time. No call came, so I stayed home waiting for him to show up whenever (Disclaimer: the delivery service is contracted out and they are not Appliance Factory employees). I have purchased from this business several times, having purchased a Speed Queen Washer, three refrigerators, a range/oven and most recently a Speed Queen Dryer. Truthfully, I've never had any experience worth the time of reviewing positively or negatively but today's experience tipped the scales for me. When I purchased my Speed Queen washer I was told that this washer was the best on the market and would last me 20 years. Within two uses it stopped working and I had to go two weeks waiting to get it fixed. I tried to get AF to just give me a new one as this was not how one wants to start off their brand new appliance experience but they refused and frankly, did very little to help me get it fixed. I have since (recently) had to get it repaired again and was without a washing machine for a month. This past weekend I purchased a Speed Queen Dryer. Delivery guy shows up and I realize that the door opens the wrong way but remembered that when I bought it, the sign on the machine said it could open either way so I ask the guy to flip the door. He tells me that's a $25 charge. Not his fault, he's just the messenger. I quickly call the store and speak with Dave who instead of saying "Gosh! Yes, we'll take care of that for you for no charge" says "All dryers come from the factory opening left to right yada yada yada." I say "So you charge $25 to change it?" Dave said "Yes we do" to which I said "ok I'll just review you guys online" and hung up. Not much else to say right? After a few minutes I get a call back from Dave who informs me that I didn't give him a chance to tell me that he would change the door at no charge. (I did give him a chance but he was too busy mansplaining to me how to build a watch instead of just telling me the time.) Anyway, by that time the delivery guy was gone so we had to change it ourselves (which for the record took five minutes so DON'T pay the $25 charge) so Dave refunded me $25 and apologized. Do not, I repeat, do not take out the extended warranty because you'll be wasting your money. Appliance Factory did not tell us that the service comes out of Denver, and they only service the Fort Collins - northern Colorado area on Tuesday. Our Electrolux dryer is only two years old and started leaking water. We opened up a service ticket on December 16 through the store because the service department is closed on weekends. We got a call Monday, Dec. 18, from the service company and the soonest they could send a repair technician for repairs would be January 9th. Four weeks for service. We also called Applicance Factory on College and Harmony and they were no help. I asked them to have the store manager call the service company and they wouldn't. We couldn't even get the store manager to talk to us even though he was in the store. The store has a President Hotline, and we couldn't get a call back. Buyer beware buying from Applicance Factory. We should have known that any company that leaves their "Grand Opening" sign up for two years is deceptive. Buy from a reputable company that has local service technicians. read more

We had to come and go three times before we finally made a decision on a set of Samsung's. 'Received 2, silly, meaningless replies from a fictitiously named "manager" via Yelp note (*please see below: my review contains 2 replies from "managemt", which they've amended multiple times & which do not even offer real names of actual managers). Strangely, in POSITIVE reviews of this business, managers ARE identified in their posted replies, repeatedly, by full first names, when accepting credit for a positive review. They don't merely offer a capitalized, first initial (such as Manager "A.", or "A. of Null"-as they did to my negative review/updates, & of course, the vulgarity was removed as soon as I pointed it out. The mgr replying on behalf of this etablishment apparently then realized that the transparent, rude name they chose to use in order to reply to me was publicly viewable). 'Interesting contrast of "managerial replies". Regardless of the highly unprofessional choice this business made in their 'note'/reply to my review (*aren't they aware that a screenshot can be taken of a post, so that even if they erase their prior insults posted in reply to a customer, the post can be copied, timed, dated, & inventoried for a consumer advocacy complaint?) MOST VITAL, we are now OUT $550.00 ($400.00 for the extended warranty sold to us, which is worthless, because they refused to honor it; plus $150.00 for the cost of repair to a brand new machine, 'not even 6 wks old). This business is clearly displeased with my sharing of this awful experience. Their reply to my last update states that I was choosing to "publicly air a private matter". !? I recently bought a washer and dryer. The good news is the staff was friendly, knowledgable and the install was a breeze. The washer and dryer were priced very well, below cost from other stores like Best Buy, Home Depot etc... So why 3 stars... They nickel and dime you at every corner. Once I got the receipt home I realized that what looked like a good deal was actually slightly more than new from Best Buy (mine were open box). Then when I had them installed they charged me an additional $20 to put them on the pedastools which came from them. They did inform me that they were nice and waived the stair charge, I guess they also charge extra to go up or down stairs. All and all I am satisfied with the purchase just don't assume you are getting an out of this world deal, they will get you on everything the big boys do for free. read more

First, the price of the products here are great, I love the new but damaged pricing, don't get me wrong. These morons however have cost me two personal days off due to their lack of doing anything but running my credit card. They have that down! Purchased a new dryer, mine is about to crump, needed it by Thursday (7/6) actually needed it Monday, but had to wait for delivery. $70 to haul away old and install new, not a bad deal, right? Well, it would have been and wasn't in the past for the fridge, range and washer I had bought previously. This time was different, I was told expect a call on Wednesday PM about delivery time on Thursday. Wednesday, no call, Thursday I call the store, um...where is my delivery call. After taking 5 minutes to find my order, they say, well looks like there was an error at the store, hum...okay....not my problem but whatever, when will they show up to install my new dryer? Early evening now? Since I have taken a personal day from work for these morons to deliver. Bottom line, they hit my credit card for the delivery fees, then they coded my sales item as a pickup at the store on the 6th. Hummm.... Looking at my receipt, says delivery, charged delivery, shows deliver to my address, seems to be in order, what is the problem? After talking to manager who could only BS his way around their mistake basically said well Monday is the soonest. WHAT? Monday? Seriously? Over a week since they tapped my credit card. I asked when was I going to get a call, well, never, except when it got too late and I hadn't pickup up my dryer from the store? I told them I needed it now not Monday, well, they said I could come pick it up myself. Serious to god! I wanted it delivered and installed cause, well, I paid for it and frankly I don't need to wrestle my old one out and new on in..that's why I paid for delivery. So they offered to refund my delivery fee, that's fine, but I wanted them to do the job they said they were going to do, the job I had planned time off for and the job that I paid for. Not going to happen, and then to turn around and say I could come get it and bring in my old one and they would recycle, I mean come on. Insult to injury... They couldn't do their job, but I could do some of it for them... Complete and utter failure, don't ever purchase anything from these rip off artists. Basically, my order was processed as a pick-up with a deliver charge and would have been sitting until someone saw that my dryer was still in stock and then they would have called. Frankly, I should have gone to the big-box rip-off stores. At least their I know I am going to get screwed. UPDATE: Received a call, actually a couple of calls from a manager, Mike I think is his name. I was told to expect a call in the evening scheduling a deliver time for today Saturday (7/8/2017). Well, no such call ever came, here it is Saturday morning, I was supposed to be out of town, but now I am shopping Lowes for a new Dryer to replace the Replacement dryer that was supposed to be delivered Thursday, not wait, promised Saturday, and ya, nothing... Lesson Learned, which I already know: Screw me once shame on you Screw me twice shame on me. DON'T make the same mistake I did. Good prices doesn't mean savings, not at this place !!! UPDATE: My bad. Should have known, fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. So the delivery occurred at 1450, ten minutes to spare in the time promised. Same delivery person as who installed my washer so I was pretty confident HAHA...MY BAD! They threw into place and left, I was tied up while they were here, so I went downstairs to check out my new dryer! Um...Hello...Doesn't start, no lights no nothin! Amazing... Drove to the store talked to the manager, told them I wanted my old dryer back and this one gone, of course it will have to be scheduled. Seriously, I told them to come get it, it is on the driveway. They are now going to try to repair a faulty dryer and appliance factory says they are not responsible! These people are bums, BUMS! If you value your money, do not patronize this business. I bought a new washer and dryer and nearly a month later they have not arrived and now I am told I can substitute for a dented one of which they'll take $50 off or I have to wait until March. MARCH! Who cares about 50 lousy bucks when spending $1800? Who wants to give their wife a dented dryer as a gift when they paid for a brand new one? Maybe they shouldn't have promised delivery on 2 separate occasions only to never follow through. Maybe they shouldn't sell appliances because they are incompetent and obviously unqualified. Don't bother complaining to a manager or even trying to contact a regional manager, you will get nowhere. Also, the so-called "President's Hotline" is a waste of time as well. UPDATE: The manager replied on this site. It is interesting to note that he doesn't even know what I bought, as the products were Samsung, not Whirlpool. He mentions offering me other options, but my only options offered were a refund or used/dented equipment with a $50 discount. These are not solutions that are acceptable. He mentions a back order issue. When I purchased from this local business they matched a price I found at Home Depot. The salesman assured me I would have my appliances within 2 weeks, he was very clear. It wasn't until after the two weeks were up that I found out it would be March. As is evidenced by the reply on this site from the manager, these people will say anything, truth be damned. A refund is no good to me, as my purchase was on Black Friday and the items now are priced several hundred dollars more everywhere. UPDATE 2: The manager edited his initial response to change Whirlpool to Samsung in response to my first update. He also changed other claims he made in the response about timing for the delivery. LET IT BE KNOWN that I was assured delivery within 2 weeks. As I claimed above, this company will say whatever it takes but will not actually do whatever it takes. It is also interesting to note that their response to this review was much speedier than any response I have received personally. My initial experience was good, but keep reading. Dave seemed honest and answered our questions. Thought we were getting a good deal. The washing machine we bought broke the first time we used it, flooded our laundry room and ruined our floor. I expected the manager to help get things fixed right away. It took them a whole extra week to deliver another machine, BUT WAIT, it gets better. The "new machine" was beat to hell! We couldn't accept it. I had them take everything back including the dryer because they were so unhelpful and unsympathetic, I did not want them to have any of my business. They would not refund our delivery charge, so we are out $75 and have a ruined floor. I will be fighting with them to replace the floor and will report them to the Better Business Bureau. BEWARE !!!!! We were told one thing at time of purchase and since washer broke one month after buying we are now finding out that everything we were told is not true - the "new" and "updated" model is actually over 2 years old and was discountinued by GE. The store does not have a service contract with GE and we have to go through GE for service and be charged a fee b/c even though the washer was "new" it was manufactured over 2 years ago !!! Looking at over 1.5 weeks for service to come out and just look etc. Manager is unable to state a "Return Policy" or where to find a written return policy and is unwilling to consider return or exchange !!!! My husband and I have been searching for a new mattress for what seems like years. We wandered into this store because it's close to our home not expecting to really leave with anything, we were wrong. Tim helped us the second we walked into the store. The used salesman DON on site did not help me at all.. I have visited the store several times, called and left my name on a waiting list for a refurbished appliance. 8 months I have waited. I have visited the store and saw an appliance that fit my request several times. NO phone call. I visited the store on Monday of this week and saw the item I requested. I talked to him and stated that I had to go check something out and get the cash for payment. I would call in about and hour and tell him when I would be back. It was stated okay talk to you later. I received a call about half an hour later stating that the appliance was sold to a regular customer. NO where in the conversation was I told the we do not HOLD anything for a customer. I am tried of this store and will not recommend it to anyone...... This twice that I have been unhappy with the salesman in the used store. I have made the trip to the Greeley store and have been very happy there with purchases.. read more

David D is so patient and knowledgeable! The first washer we bought from them (a scratch & dent one) was unbalanced and they immediately made things right and found us a different one without issues. We were impressed with the customer service so we bought an entire set of kitchen appliances. Our experience and the experiences of other family members were exceeded! I recently purchased two pedestals for brand new GE washer and dryer. I bought delivery and installation. They delivered them and then proceeded to tell me they could not install them because they were not purchased from Appliance Factory (they were supplied by the builder--but brand new). I have no idea where they were purchased because the builder supplied them. If I had known this, I would not have purchased them from Appliance Factory. I contacted them to discuss this and gave them several days to respond to me to work something out. To date, no communication. I have pedestals sitting in my garage, I paid for set up, but no refund. The delivery person was very rude to me and my 21 year old daughter. Do not purchase anything from Appliance Factory. They do not follow through on their promises. I even left a message on the "President's Line" where they say they will get back within 24 hours. No they don't--no response. Sad! read more
