I talked to Mr Allred about replacing it and he yelled at me and told me to bring the receipt, which I did not keep (this family has been in business for years and I and most members of my family have purchased 10000's of dollar thru the years) I trusted that I would not have a problem returning an item ,if I had a problem with any appliance. Without receiving any help from Mr Allred, I paid men to take the broken machine back to his store, still no help. I purchased a washing machine from another store, I am out a thousand dollars but I will not jump thru anymore hoops for him. If he was a respectable business man he would have found the receipt for me any stead of laughing when I told him I could not find. Mr ALLRED, this is your legacy.

I love the washer and dryer, but the stove is another story. I have mostly used gas stoves, but that option was not available in the home I purchased. I hate the stove. The repair man came out to my house quickly to see what the problem was & it is just the way the stove was made. I called to see what could be done about it and the salesman that talked to me was willing to pick up the stove and refund my money. He neglected to tell me that ALL electric stoves today were made this way. He was very patronizing about the issue. If he would have told me ALL electric stoves were made that way and not have made me feel stupid about the issue there would have been more business from me for the Appliance Mart in the future. I will take my business elsewhere even though their prices may be a little lower.

Total scam! They butchered the installation, spitting on every promise they made and leaving us stranded. They shoved damaged appliances full of dents and scratches down our throats, banking on us being too stupid to notice their junk. An assistant manager spewed lies about fixing it, only for them to call the next day and demand more money for installation we already paid for upfront. To top it off, we spoke to a manager at the Nashville location who was outright rude, treating us like garbage for daring to complain. Their customer service is a disgusting sham--dishonest, useless, and infuriatingly arrogant. Avoid this pitiful excuse for a store unless you love being scammed and disrespected. By the way, Ethan was a pleasure to work with and tried to help - but the others in the store was a waste of time and effort. I noticed that the owner responds to these reviews but offers nothing to address issues in his response. Only saying things like "it's unfortunate" or "we hope to do better to regain your trust". My plan is if we don't resolve this issue in the next few days, I'm going to load $12k worth of high end appliance on my trailer, haul them to the Cookeville store and camp out in their parking lot with a huge banner saying how I was scammed and sell my appliance in the parking lot for penny's on the dollar. It has absolutely nothing to do with the cost it's all about principal.

AND I have washed two loads of clothes with great outcomes (CLEAN) that surpassed the more expensive Maytag we bought from Appliance Mart in Cookeville and had repaired twice and it still never worked and were told if the part went out again it might be a year before a new one would come in. HUH?? Even the delivery person today commented...if it was that bad why did they not replace it? Who knows. AT any rate that is water over the dam and we are really pleased with this store (Carlos recommended the model he thought we needed and not the most expensive he thought we would buy) AND delivered it within a week AND IT WORKS really WELL. Not wanting to tear out drywall I wanted a fan box that laps onto the joist. My go to is usually Lowes. While picking up the box I grab some other supplies. I was not able to find what I was looking for. Lowes now has sparsely located some buttons to call for help. Help arrive after a bit of a wait. The associate was "ambushed" by three people as I watched down the aisle. He was polite and very helpful. We found the only box in a box and I was on way. In the parking I decide to open the box to see if it were complete. The box was only usable on the edge of a 2X but my joists have a 3x facing down. The box won't fit. So I went back to customer service and exchanged the box in a box for my $5.68 back. I headed off to Home Depot who had the correct Universal box. Lowe's selection for home retrofit projects is getting limited.

The couple that was in other's business earlier walked over to me and backed up the cashier saying "you have to return to original store to look up transaction with receipt".....both employees agreed that even w/ receipt u have to go back to original Lowe's bc only that Lowe's can see purchase n refund. Then the older male employee asked me "why u want to refund?" As if it's his business lol. Bunch of employees hovering over trying to be nosy and backing each other up without making sense. I have a receipt, I have my card. Like why aren't they able to look up when I provided them the receipt? I called CS and they said stores can look up 6 months of transaction, mine was only 2. Cashiers here are not trained and scanned the wrong barcode once then pretended to say only original store can look up purchases. Funniest thing I've heard.
