I contacted the store just 40 days after purchasing only to be told there was nothing they could do because it was under warranty. What's most frustrating is that GE doesn't seem to care about the inconvenience this causes. I've had to waste countless hours scheduling service appointments, waiting for technicians, and dealing with a broken appliance in the meantime. I've even responded to multiple customer service surveys that promise a follow-up, but no one has ever contacted me. It feels like GE just wants to check a box rather than actually address their customers' concerns. For a brand of GE's reputation, I expected better. Instead, I've been stuck with a poorly made dryer and a customer service experience that shows zero concern for the time, effort, and frustration their customers go through. I would strongly advise against buying this dryer--or any GE appliance--unless you're ready for an endless cycle of breakdowns, delays, and empty promises.

I contacted them and they ordered a new icemaker and sent me a written quote for its installation. I also had to pay $169 upfront for the icemaker. One hour before they were to arrive, they called and said they had made a mistake and it wasn't going to be a $50 install but a $225 install. Of that amount it had to be paid before they would install it. this is after we had already paid them over $200 to service the existing icemaker. We debated the issue and they would not change their mind. One of the technicians hung his over our bar top and mysteriously my 45 year pin for the Masonic Lodge, a commemorative pocket knife, came up missing. The knife stays in the exact same place every time it is not in use The technicians left after they demanded that we pay cash only. The technicians left the new icemaker and we had a reputable company come out yesterday and said the unit had not been serviced correctly and that there was a burned connector which should have been easily noticed if it had been serviced properly We have left multiple messages for the American Appliance Repair to call us back, but they have failed to do so I would not recommend this company to anyone they advertise this company as a Christian philosophy, but that is far from the truth

I had a problem with my washer that was not normal and he evaluated the situation & found a solution to correct the problem. He was able to do this twice for me when other technicians for 10 years couldn't do it. Jeremy is an outstanding technician, but he also is a genuinely good person. He comes into your home and treats it like his own. He does not leave a mess, he doesn't break anything and he's very considerate. I highly recommend this company and I really appreciate them!!

Terrible Customer Service…read more I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received. A technician came to my home to diagnose my stove and informed me that parts needed to be ordered. I was told the parts should arrive within 3-5 days. More than a month passed without any communication, updates, or follow-up from the service company. I eventually had to contact GE myself to obtain the necessary parts. Now that I have the parts, I still cannot get the service company to schedule a technician to install them. This repair should be completed under warranty, and I should not have to repeatedly follow up or coordinate the repair myself. Waiting more than a month with no communication, having to obtain the parts myself, and now being unable to get the repair completed is completely unacceptable. I expect the company to honor the warranty, schedule the installation promptly, and complete the repair without any further delays.
