We love this store in Callallen Tx. All the employees are awesome! The girls at the service desk or pro desk are very helpful, Amy H. is a great!! I noticed how patient she is with difficult people while waiting in line. She seems to always get things done & know what to do helping the customers. I've had to rely on several of the employees for many different home improvement issues and never have a problem. I enjoy going there for convenience, familiarity and always finding what I need at a good price! Being in the construction business we shop there often and appreciate the great customer service the most! read more

If your thinking about getting flooring installed. Please go else where. I have now had carpet installed twice and both times had issues. This last time was the worst. There is a ton I could write but when the installation Techs break items and then get into a fight with your mother, its just too much. I find it hard to believe that Home Depot would allow it's Vendors to treat its customers so poorly. And to add injury to insult the owner of the carpet company pushed all blame to either home depot or us. Regardless of the issues it was not his fault or that of his techs. He deferred all blame and looked for reason's to add fuel to the fire. Saying that his group would get paid regardless and to take our business else where. Pete, your lack of accountability for your people, inconsistence installation work and general unprofessionalism is reprehensible. read more

Oops I did it again. Well after I swore off Home Depot because they canceled two deliveries that were very important, I decided to give them one last chance. I ordered a front loading washer and it was to be delivered this last Saturday. They called and said they were 20 minutes away. We never heard back and got a text and they said they couldn't find the address. So I called and canceled my order. Never again. read more

After attempting to get supplies today, I have decided NOT to make Home Depot my main resource for supplies. Every time I go to the store it is a hassle to get my military discount, today was no exception. I registered online with my DD214 and still not receiving my discount. I know that $300 is not much in a daily sales, but I asked for my military discount and received an explanation that because of COVID they could not provide one on lumber. To begin with, everything I was after was anywhere from $.60 - $1.00 a piece more at Home Depot than at Lowe's, but with the discount I figured I would break somewhat even by staying closer to home verses driving into Corpus Christi. I shopped at the Calallen store because it is closer to my home and thought I had a military discount. In the future, I will be going to Lowe's who always honors the military discount, never get a hassle about my military discount and I never have to present a receipt for returns. Imagine in today's world Lowe's tracks all my purchases, Home Depot, as I am told, has no record. Another thing, Lowe's always asks how they can improve their service to the customer and it was a pain to find a way to communicate with HD where I didn't have to wait on the phone for an extended period of time, showing me that HD is again failing in customer service. The only way I found a way to communicate with HD was on social media and I will be going out there and letting everyone know the type of service I received. In the future, Lowe's will be receiving the larger portion of my home improvement dollar. read more

Order delivery online they never showed a week later I finally just go up to the store after they told me over the phone they couldnt deliver it so I drove the hr to them and they sold my items I paid for. They told me they would hold two of the three items I paid for cuz they sold one of them and then when I show up they didnt hold anything a sold the others. worst experience ever! read more

I placed my online order on February 16th for a case of 4 gallons of shower cleaner for my small business. Got a email saying that it should be in store February 23rd. Still hadn't heard anything so called them today. Apparently it was "lost in transit" whatever that means and they had to reorder it. I've been waiting 2 weeks for this order already and when I asked how long it would take she couldn't tell me. And when I asked if they could set aside 4 jugs of what the get in on Thursday she said I'd have to pay for them. I told her I paid for 4 jugs; why can't y'all just give me the jugs yall get in in two days and keep my order that y'all reordered when it gets in? There was an excuse there too.. Ive been using Home Depot for my businesses supplies for years and after today I will be buying all my supplies from their competitor! Y'all lost a good customer today. read more

Made an order for carpet about 3 weeks ago and the first time the installers came out they had the wrong carpet. After that they told me they lost my order so I had to make another order for the same thing. I've been to the store 5 times to show them the carpet that I ordered. When I called the store to complain the GM was great and tried to fix the problem. The next time I called to complain the assistant manager Ann answered and was very rude and unprofessional. Basically she told me she couldn't do anything and to call corporate to complain. I've been in retail a long time and her attitude and unprofessionalism really makes me wonder how she even got to that position. Called corporate today and they said my carpet was on order and would be here on Oct 8th (first order was 9/12) and the only order corporate could see was my second order done on the 24th. I will be canceling my order and NEVER doing business with this store again or recommended to anyone. The best of luck to anyone who shops here as they have lost my and my families business. read more

Asked for help with flooring waited 30 minutes for help no one showed up, a lot of them were walking around not one associate stopped to ask me anything so blew off the flooring. Pvc aisle 3 associates on the same aisle no help except for the extremely nice man who was buying similar items that fixed me right up, thanks nice man!!!! Now for the dryer, found one I liked no one around so took a picture of the sign and that's how I got my dryer after I showed them the picture of the one I wanted. I would give this store/location 0 stars if possible. I located a tool from HD's web site and determined they had 8 (eight) of them in-stock at the store. I had the aisle location texted to my phone and drove to the store. I found the aisle access barred and an "aisle closed" sign. I asked at the register when the aisle would be open. Register girl said, "I don't know". I asked if somebody could please retrieve my product for purchase. Again, she said "NO". I left the store empty-handed and ordered online elsewhere, white hot angry. Worse than no customer service at the store. Only what they can not do and what impediments they can throw in your way to keep from doing business. Will never buy from HD again. HD corporate should be apalled because these jokers are hurting the brand. read more

Anytime I've called for price checks or to see if something is in stock or if they even carry it I never get to talk to anyone. The only people that have ever been of any help in this store are Joe in plumbing and Alex in electrical. Most workers don't know what half the crap on the shelves are for and the pro desk is is more like amateur desk. If they didn't have there little computer they'd be completely lost. read more
