When they finally came the repairman was on the phone with Brian (owner) the entire time. They recommended a new system and didn't have the correct inlet cover on their van after they spent so much time getting the details. They charged me for a service call that and demanded to be paid before they left. They said they would send the quote. They never sent it. In the meantime I saw an excellent vacuum repair person and he found the hose was blocked and repaired the inlet with no difficulty. Blue Ridge Vacuums never even checked the hose.

Before leaving, the technician was great about explaining what was OK and what would need replaced, which I appreciated. Due to it being a home warranty claim, there was a delay in the repair time-frame as they needed to write a report to the warranty company before they could start work. However, by the next week I had a scheduled appointment which was sooner than I expected with having to go through home warranty red-tape. The technician that came out was very polite, and did a very professional job removing the old equipment and installing the new. He also left the area clean after he was done. Another big plus was the courteousness of the office administrator that was interfacing me via phone to set the appointments. I probably took up way too much of her time asking questions on how the home warranty process worked, but she was more than happy to help answer any questions I had. Overall great experience with this company's service, and I will definitely keep them in mind for any future repairs.
