I have a GE dryer that was thumping. The tech arrived and removed the front and vacuumed it out and said that was the problem. Charged $174.00 dollars. Never received a receipt. Tried dryer later in day and it was still thumping. Had called out another GE repair company who fixed the problem by replacing bearing assembly. I have been trying to get a refund for the service call. It sounds like phones are answered by AI bots. It says I will receive a call back by end of day or 1st thing in morning. No service occurred. The very customer friendly website directed me through describing my repair need, uploading helpful pictures, choosing an appointment time from what was available and sharing directions to the house. I received SIX reminders of date and time of the technician appointment, 4 texts and 2 emails. The technician/owner did not come on time, or 10 minutes or 20 minutes late. The many reminders named 1 time rather than a window of time so I hoped the man was not in a wreck. I looked up his facebook account and he was POSTING PICTURES OF HIS LUNCH DURING MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT! I called the office number and spoke with a stat of the art AI voice. I texted the Appliance Whispered and told him that an hour past his scheduled arrival, I had to leave; don't come to my home. He showed up around 2 hours late and my husband said he acted very confused. Not just poor service, NO service from The Appliance Whisperer. read more

I contacted Keith with Appliance Whisper about a GE under-the-counter dishwasher that was failing to heat the dishes to dry at the end of the wash cycle. He scheduled an initial appointment to assess the problem. He was on time and used a diagnostic tool that identified the problem parts immediately. Two parts required replacement. One was available in Roanoke for immediate delivery. The other part was available in Baltimore, Maryland, and would be available in four days. He scheduled a date and time to come and repair the machine with the new parts. The dishwasher under the kitchen counter was on a second-floor level. Keith maneuvered the machine without any marks on the final wood flooring. The parts were quickly replaced, and the machine was relocated into the space and leveled. He checked for water leaks and checked the washer program to be sure all was well. We didn't have to use the dishwasher for two days after the repair, but all worked perfectly. The cycles ran as they should, and the dishes were perfectly dry when we unloaded the machine. We highly recommend Keith for any appliance repair. He is fair, knowledgeable, technology savvy, friendly, and very skilled at what he does. It's never about the price of a product; it's always the service, and we have found our serviceman. read more
