After nearly two decades of service from the old refrigerator, we were in need of a new one. After careful consideration we decided on Bosch as a replacement; pricey but simply well built. Besides, there is a local (dependable) service rep. We wanted to help our community by buying local--especially not from a box store. Appliances Plus Audio was one of the few places that carried this brand. I brought in a specification sheet with the model wanted. Although there were no floor models to inspect, warehouse manager Luis knew this product, thoughtfully citing its pluses and minuses. Then sold on Bosch, he quoted a fair price. The appliance was delivered on-time and professionally installed. We love our new Bosch, and are glad we went to Appliances Plus Audio to buy it. Well done! read more

I buy for my home, my rental properties and my needs for my business. It doesn't matter if it is a TV, a dehumidifier, washer, dryer or kitchen appliance, I get what I need at a fair price. I not get the products I want I get the service I want. I only need to make a phone call or stop in. I don't have to walk through acres of parking lot and deal with someone who knows very little about his product when I deal here. WE should remember that the local business is owned and operated by our neighbors. These people care about the community and the people that live in it. My husband and I recently replaced our kitchen appliances. We built our home eleven years ago and used Appliance Plus for everything and they gave us a wonderful package deal. At the time I wanted all GE Profile, which turned out to be a good choice. Over the years my taste and needs have changed and I so wanted to have Kitchen Aide (stainless/french door fridge/convection oven). After shopping around for several months at all the big name chains, I realized it was not in our budget and researched other options that would meet my needs. After deciding what we would go with we price compared at three big names and were about to seal the deal. When I asked my husband to stop at Appliance Plus, just to be sure. I reminded him of the first good deal. I also reminded him of the time when our son was an infant and had a stomach bug, which he so generously shared with both of us. Any parent knows that the washer is running none stop. Ours had enough and died. Too sick to shop, or God forbid, go to a laundry mat. We call Appliance Plus, told them what we needed and what we wanted to spend, and 2 hours later had a brand new washer. My husband took me in and to my surprise they were running a special on Kitchen Aide. Sill a little higher than we wanted to spend I shied away. Than the salesman told my husband that there was a rebate available that was only offer to privately owned dealer. I looked at the paperwork and sure enough the three big names were listed as exclusions. We ended up significantly saving and spending less than what we set out to spend. The next afternoon I had to the kitchen of my dreams delivered. There is a lot to be said for Mom & Pop stores. I for one am a fan. I like the personal touch that is lost when visiting a warehouse. read more

I have just purchased my sixth appliance from this store within the past two years and could not imagine shopping anywhere else. Sean Friel and Chris were the best sales persons anyone could ask for. They were helpful and answered all my questions. They did not pressure me and allowed me to look at various makes, models in order to make my decision. If there was a way to give a negative, I would... They deserve a -5! Lack of communication is only the beginning. If you need to order something, do yourself a favor and just do it yourself. I have never purchased something where the vendor could not give me an accurate supply or delivery date. Nor have I dealt with vendors who say 2 weeks and then end up being 3 months! Not to mention trying to deliver without first contacting the consumer and finding it OK to leave your merchandise out on your driveway because you didn't know to be home. What's worse is when you open the box to find your merchandise damaged, just to have to suffer through the entire experience again! Absolutely not... BUYER BEWARE! read more

Will not shop here again!! My first kitchen appliances I purchased from them were great as well as the service so when it came time to replace them it was the first and only place we went. Big mistake...paid top price for the GE kitchen package. The stove came in damaged. It happens...but so did the next 5 for a total of 6. I lost time from work which equals money plus the stress. Was told they would check the stoves prior to delivering, that happened once. When I finally said enough I was basically told oh well its not our fault its GE's, return it which is what I did. You can tell the sales people do not work on commission. They did not care, didn't try to satisfy me as a customer. Clearly they charge premium $$ for dent and scratch items...the delivery person told me I now have the record the old one was three. STAY AWAY!! read more

We purchased a new 4 piece appliance package from Appliance Plus in Vineland, NJ. Their location was easily accessible from any direction in southern New Jersey and easy to spot from the road. Parking is acceptable. The store is clean and well organized. On our first visit to the store we encountered a sales rep. named Chris. He was very knowledgeable of their products and professionally friendly. He was patient and explained every thing to us. So we thought. After we left we continued our price matching with other stores and the Internet. In the end we felt Appliance Plus offered the best price, free delivery and free hauling away of the old appliances. It was explained to us by Chris and he was very clear that it was our responsibility to unhook, disconnect, or unmount any existing appliances. We felt it was also clear that installation came with this offer. We questioned him for clarification at least twice. That everything would be installed. The only thing that they would not completely install would be the natural gas line. The plumbers had to do that part. We returned approx. 4 days later to put a deposit down on the package. Our original sales rep. was off on that Monday. Another rep stated that he could help us. The rep placed our order and honored the price quote from the first rep. However, there was one concern. The model of the refrigerator was not the same one that was quoted to us. The rep did not take any action to call Chris or suggest that the order be placed when Chris was back. The following day, we called Chris and he corrected that problem without hesitation. Delivery took about a week and a half. We did not receive any call confirming delivery nor a time to expect them. The only way we know what day delivery was coming was because we called Chris and questioned him. Two drivers arrived with our products. They were clean, polite and professional. When we asked them about installation they stated that they only install the refrigerator and the "No Tilt" device on the stove. The over the stove microwave and the dishwasher was not something they did nor were allowed to do. We called Chris at the store. He first denied telling us about installation, he then raised the point that he didn't write the final order. Installation would be an additional charge and would have been subcontracted out. That was never a part of any conversation we had while he was selling us this product. We are not handy people and installation of such items needed to be done by someone who knew what they were doing. Chris also raised another issue. And that was he denied ever saying specifically what would be installed and what would not. I recommend that if you decide to do business with this company be sure you specify exactly what is to be done and GET IT IN WRITING! This caused us further expense that we did not see forthcoming. With that being said, Their pricing was still the best minus installation. read more

This past week I purchased a dryer and washer and I want to tell the world what great service I recd, from Sears, their service was and is outstanding, their employees that I dealt with were couteous,helpfull, knowledgeable,delivery was timed perfect and on time, the delivery men were professional and did a great job placing the appliances in place quickly.
