This location is smaller then some of the surrounding stores (Deptford,Hamilton) which ultimately ends up having less product then the others and limits your options. Not many of the employees know much about their products or much of anything store or product related to be honest, your best bet is do your own research like I do and just go in knowing what you want. I will say that I've never really had a bad experience here and what miniscule interactions I've had with management has been positive. I would never use geek squad for anything I feel as though they're a rip off and haven't heard one positive thing from anybody who has dealt with them. This store is super small but has very good customer service. My friend was looking to buy a new TV so I was able to steer him in the direction of the TV I have and give him the breakdown of how Best Buy presents their tvs from lower end to higher end in a left to right sweeping fashion along the back wall of the store, generally. A store associate came over to ask if we needed any help and we told him we were debating between the same tv in different sizes. He did not push my friend into getting the bigger TV that was more expensive and was honest about the sound quality of the newer TVs. I asked him what the choices were for soundbars and my friend and I were both excited to see a Bose Bluetooth soundbars that is dual purpose and portable! They helped us load the tv into the car at the front of the store and it was a wrap from start to finish in less than 20 minutes! I should know better than to go into s Best Buy and expect anything other than Best Buy quality service. This location did not fail to make me feel like going home and purchasing the item online. It is average size, and very clean (I assume it's very clean because of the low flow, not due to employees keeping it clean). I was unable to call in ahead and ask them to hold an item which I had seen them as having in Stock through the website. This is because their phone system doesn't seem to get phone calls in to employees but rather to a phone answering service if you happen to go through and intelligently answer their questions. If you simple wait, and push no buttons, you will get right through. The sales associates were blue and shirty. Nothing special. I can only assume that the complex series of swipes followed by sounds and an outward look of frustration were all part of a complex security algorithm maintained through an interface in which candies are crushed. I have a love-hate relationship with this store. I am not a fan of the big box tech stores. As such, I do not normally shop here. But I had been trying to purchase some televisions of late. It was an arduous process. My research brought me here as their prices were as good as they get. They also sell Google TV, which is a product I was interested in. Well, I was extremely disappointed in the service. It was so bad, I left and vowed not to do business with Best Buy. Each sales person I spoke to was clueless about Google TV; each told me a different story. Of course, those stories contradicted one another. It added lots of angst to an already stressful process of buying television. So, I quit the process. Then I popped in after two weeks. It was midday. Thingswere not busy. Jonathan was a very pleasant and knowledgeable salesman. He helped me. It didn't hurt that Best Buy had a really good deal on a television that met all the specs I was looking for. I ended up purchasing two televisions and they threw in a PS3. Sure, there was an attempt to sell me the expensive HDMI cables and the extended warranties. I indicated I had no interest in either and that was that. Best Buy also allowed to walk out with all this stuff interest-free for three years. Yeah, on price they do well. This store is as incredibly as disorganized as it get's. I bought an expensive 3,000 + TV to be installed a MONTH later. I carried out the wall mount and speakers. They were suppose to deliver and install the TV. I get 2 calls the day before reminding me 8-12 they would arrive. I get a call at 7:30 from the installer asking what size is the TV. I told him you are bringing the TV. I get a call at 11:30 stating the TV is not in stock (ordered and paid for a month ago)??? I call Vineland, wait about 1/2 hour on the phone and they state the TV's are in stock but they didn't pick it up. They will call me back. NO call back. I call the installers back at 1:00 they cannot find my order 1/2 hour later. I ask for a manager. They hang up on me. I call back Vineland and talk to the manager. He is waiting for the installers to get back to him. He states I can reschedule the date. I have waited for them 6 hours now and we will see if I get a call back or if I just take everything back and cancel the order. Size matters. That's what a lot of think in regards to electronics and especially Televisions. Best Buy is one of the premiere electronic big box stores in the country, andafter Circuit Cities demise, remains one of the few left standing along with Fry's. The Vineland location is smaller than most Best Buy's in terms of size, but they keep a wonderful selection of items, just less redundancies, there is a lot of variety, and are more than happy to special order something for you. As with anything your mile may vary with service, but I have only had positive experiences with the staff at this location. They are very friendly and want to make you happy. On several occasions, when I could not find an item, they have located it for me in the backroom. I am not a huge fan of the recent redesign, but its very comforting to know someone will help you find what you need and it doesn't feel like an imposition on their time. I purchase a lot of blu rays at Best Buy because they are regularly the price setter on opening day. They also offer a wonderful upgrade and save promotion a few times a year. Now that Best Buy matches Amazon, there is not a single reason I will shop anywhere else for electronics. read more

I shop at the Vineland Best Buy because there are always a lot of sales associates walking around so you don't have to hunt for one. The other reason is the sales tax is only 3.5% compared to 7% in other towns. I can get to the store without a lot of traffic taking the back way into the shopping center.
