I usually don't complain openly about a company's sub par performance online. However, the experience I've had with this group has been astonishingly disappointing, and my concern for the well being of others motivates me to call attention to this. I've been on CPAP therapy since 2020, and used this group because they accepted Kaiser, and then Aetna, with a seamless transition. In January of this year I switched to Humana. My mistake was believing I'd have no difficulty transitioning yet again. To my surprise, I received a bill for approximately $250. instead of the usual $40. copay. When I contacted them, Apria informed me I needed a new authorization from my doctor which I submitted. Then, I again received a bill for the full amount, stating they had not been paid, and that I was in risk of being sent to collections! I contacted them and was then told they did not work with Humana, and I'd be responsible for the full amount. Calling yet again, I spoke to the same Pilipino woman who must be working from home, as I distinctly heard three chickens in the background. I spent a good deal of time living in Hawaii, and many people from the P.I. raise chickens, which I found amusing, as long as I wasn't a next door neighbor. I called yet again and asked to be removed from their customer list, and to be sent an email confirming I'd cancelled my subscription and that I've paid in full. I've yet to see any confirmation, even though the same woman who always answers the customer service line said she would do so. My latest automatic re-supply was already en route, and I informed her I wasn't accepting it, and asked for a pre-paid UPS label to be sent, which surprisingly she did. I immediately took it to a contract station here in the valley, and within four days, received a confirmation email stating they'd received it. Now I'm getting daily emails saying they haven't received it yet, right below the one that confirmed that they did. If ineptitude is the new normal, which seems to be the trend, judging from the news from the current political spectrum, then this company is totally on brand. To any thinking person contemplating using this company, some words of warning: Your concerns won't be addressed, your requests will go unheeded, your payments won't be credited, and your typically calm demeanor will be challenged beyond belief! How these individuals stay in business is a total mystery to me, but in light of how abject stupidity and incompetence has gained popularity in the socio-political climate in this country, it's not surprising. If you visit the Apria location in Spokane, they are shielded behind a glass partition reminiscent of a bank or convenience store that's suffered multiple armed robberies. I truly miss the days when people behaved with respect, took their jobs seriously, and had self awareness enough not to insult my intelligence at every opportunity. Last Thursday afternoon Feb 19th I needed help with my Cpap that stopped working in the middle of the night. And I very much depend on it. 2 gals in the office took care of the situation with in 10 mins or so and got it working. Doubt it I'll have that challenge again. Worst customer service ever, can never get a person when you call, have to request a call back then they take forever. When you finally get a person they are rude and unhelpful. We make 7 attempts over 3 months to get them to update our insurance and they still kept billing the old insurance then sending us bills saying we are self pay. When the insurance denied the claim because we are no longer with them they then began trying to reposes the machine. The machine they sent us had no pre programed settings so we had to input it ourselves and every time we had a power outage or they had an update it would wipe all the settings and we had to start over from scratch. They refused to do anything to solve this issue. When we were finally able to change providers and went to return the product they tried to get us to sign paperwork saying we were self surrendering and refusing the service. This was not the case at all we were forced to change providers because they were not providing the service correctly. We spoke to the manager who tried to say that we never updated the insurance but we have all call logs and records including proof we manually uploaded it. Avoid at all cost if you can. read more

Cpap was a death trap, zero phone support. Read the T&C's on their app- the app is not hippa compliant and shares personal information. Customer service hung up on me when I said I wanted to return the sure-death machine. Called back, spent ten minutes waiting for customer service to find my account, only to be told that they had to transfer me. Note: Customer service only handles orders for supplies- they sell you products, they dont provide services like returns or machine assistance. No help with the cpac that literally choked me from the lack of airflow, spyware apps that share your personal info and an endless string of hold and wait phone disservice ending with no help. Basically, you pick up the machine at the office, they tell you to load the app on your phone and to figure it out on your own using an app - an app for a medical breathing device??? WORST SERVICE YOU COULD IMAGINE WHILE OFFERING A HORRIBLY PROGRAMED CPAP THAT COULD HAVE KILLED ME. read more

Really hate to give one star! They want money for machines that you don't even use and then want a bunch of money for another machine! I wasn't the one that screwed up and ordered me the wrong machine! Money down on one machine and then more money for another machine but but if it doesn't work, too bad! You pay for it any way! She demonstrated how to use the equipment step by step and made sure I felt comfortable in using the unit. in addition, she was very patient in answering my question. i really appreciate her. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD CARD! I would give them a zero star rating if I could. The local office is great but the corporate billing department is a nightmare. They made numerous billing mistakes and charged hundreds of dollars to my credit card in error. It took dozens of calls and emails over six months to get reimbursed. Re: Spokane office It begins with the lady who answers the phone. I have called them several times for a couple years now. She is very rude and her people skills are very poor. The 2nd issue it's regarding| follow up...There is none...period. It's sad that I had to switch to Group Health because I had to switch to Apria. *Update* Just called her today for my wife and her tone and ability to interrupt potential customers was a deal breaker....I just hung up. read more

Full disclosure: I have had limited experience here, but had a nice experience when I was here. I accompanied my father to pick up some equipment from here, and was greeted in a very friendly manner. All staff were very nice and accommodating, and did their jobs in a professional manner. The process for insurance verification was a bit time consuming, but was not out of the realm of normalcy. The equipment he needed was in stock and delivered fairly quickly. I would recommend this place based on the limited experience I've had. read more

I'd give this zero stars if that was a choice. No one answers the phone whenever I've tried at different times of the day. The website doesn't work. We went to the street address listed online once and they said, "Sorry, we don't carry parts." They were very rude. I guess you have to have a sleep center call them. They don't deal with the public. Not sure how to get replacement parts for a cpap machine. You should not have to have a several thousand dollar sleep study every year just to obtain a new machine filter. Save yourself lots of grief and don't even try to get any service from these people. read more

This local branch does everything they can for patients. The staff goes out of their way for YOU. I worked there at the front desk for one miserable year. The calls started to route outside of our office to a call center. People would come in and just lay into me after speaking with an agent. 80% of you customers/patients were some of the RUDEST, disgusting A-holes I had ever met. Take a shower! This co. was great until they went to a call center set up yesterday I called to get canulas for my oxygen....7 phone calls, 4 mindless reps, 2 dropped calls and 28 min on the phone, I was able to order 3 which came today...The same day a tech was coming out to check my machine. If I could have talked to the local office initially, it could have been taken care of in 30 seconds and he could have brought them today. This is a ridiculous way to run a business. Regarding the Spokane office, I have never had more of a run around than I have with this office. My Cpap hasn't been working. The heater for the water doesn't work, I have been trying to get some answers with Aprea but they don't return my call. I did get a copy of a referral from my doctor and so did they, but I guess it doesn't make a difference. Looking at some of the reviews it looks like I'm not the only one having trouble. Perhaps they need a manager that will kick them in the pants! read more

I have been trying to get oxygen for months I kept Lincare's equipment because apria just can't get it together they are rude and nasty and lie steady but if you have Humana insurance you are stuck Medicare should drop this loosely run business including the people that can't speak English my worst experience with medical Suplies ever read more

The local representatives in Spokane, WA were helpful but non-productive. I was assured by my medical provider that a representative from the local office would contact me regarding my request for CPAP supplies. No call was received after 48 hours. I contacted the APRIA call center and they were less helpful insisting that the correct paper work had not been submitted . I contacted my medical provider who confirmed that all the necessary paperwork had been submitted to comply with Medicare protocol. I have had enough I followed all requested protocol and still the customer non-service representative seemed to not care if they provided any supplies or equipment. After nearly two weeks of haggling with these yahoos I am switching providers for CPAP supplies. I urge anyone on Medicare to ponder carefully being involved with APRIA Healthcare. I will not do business with them in the future. read more
