I had to re-clean them myself. For the office: - They simply do not answer the phone. This company branch in Charlotte is very irresponsible. They did not show up on the scheduled day and did not notify me of this. I had to call to find out that the crew "forgot" to come. I still gave the company the benefit of the doubt and when they came, the scratched my gutters by leaning the ladder directly on the gutters. They did not use the roof extension. DO NOT USE APS WINDOW AND GUTTER CLEANING!!!!! On Monday we used this company to clean our gutters, after receiving a direct mail piece. A couple of hours after they left, we realized our TV would not work. After assessing our yard, we found two dents on our satellite dish, very obviously caused by a ladder. In addition, the fire pit below was cracked/broken and a rock landscape wall had fallen apart. They were painfully slow to respond, I could never get a person to answer the phone. Once I sent a text saying I would leave an honest review on social media unless there was resolution, they replied to "be patient" (three days later). I had Aps window and gutter cleaning do my windows inside and out...They left a mess and water on my Hardwood floors..The next day when the sun came out you could see how bad of a job they did...Windows were streaked and not clean...Contacted them the next day and they set up an appointment to redo my windows at 11. They dropped their ladder when they were moving it to clean another window on the 2nd floor. It completely ripped off the light fixture from the back of my house. I called them right away to say what happened and they said it would be fixed. I came home and the light fixture was barely hanging on the house, the bulb half screwed in, the glass on the fixture was twisted all over because it was loose, and when I flicked the switch to turn the light on, it tripped the circuit breaker because of a short circuit. They did great cleaning the house and windows. Not sure they actually flushed the gutters after cleaning them either. 2 stars because the exterior work was great, but unresolving damage you created is unacceptable! read more

We had APS window and gutter cleaning from Raleigh NC to clean our windows. First of all, they showed up well after the allotted appointment time. I have 33 windows and was concerned about it turning dark while the cleaning crew did their job. It was dark when they left and dark when I left for work the next morning. I received a callback from Amanda whom I paid and voiced my concerns. I was assured that the crew would returned to redo my window- if needed. Fast forward to actually needing them to come back out. I called and scheduled an appointment but had to cancel twice due to scheduling conflicts on my end. One dealing with work and the other a family emergency. I called a head of time to explain the situation the first time and texted the second time. During the second attempt to reschedule, Amanda stopped answering my text or voicemails. I have left several text messages btw Nov. 2022 - Jan. 2023 and with no response. I paid for a service that was done horribly!! I have had them come out to my home twice now. The first time I just had the gutters cleaned. The second time I had them clean the gutters and wash the window exteriors. They did a great job and picked up all the debris from the gutters. Windows look fantastic. Very reasonable prices for the work. Will be calling them again. read more

They were nice and responded quickly and came out practically the next day, on time and did the job. When they left though I noticed they didn't flush the gutters as was the advertisement. I called back a couple of times and they finally texted me back and said they got my message and they would come out and finish. APS personnel came to my house and spent less than 20 minutes to clean the gutters and charged us over $200, he did a very poor job and didn't even clean up after himself and left the deck which is below the gutter very dirty. I called to inform the company, no apology was offered and customer service was less than poor. They told me that the personnel should have cleaned after himself and that they will send someone out to clean the mess but no one ever came. I will Never use them again and do not recommend them. I was extremely disappointed with the service that APS provided. I spent $700 with this Company and they left my house a mess. Unfortunately, I could not be home when they were here. They pressured washed my screened in porch, which I specifically asked them not to, which housed various electronic equipment etc.. They left the contents of my porch all over the yard and pressured the stain off various parts of the deck that I now have to restain. When I tried to reach out to them the secretary was rude, and refused to call me back until I asked them not to charge my card until calling me. First off, I want to be clear that this review pertains to the location in Orlando, FL. This company services many different locations but for some reason the one in Charlotte is the only one available to review on Google. My entire experience with this company was frustrating. It started when I called to get a quote for various services. I was told a price for the cleaning of my pool screen enclosure. However, my enclosure is pretty big so I figured it was a good idea to call back and clarify to ensure no surprises when they came out. Sure enough it was actually $50 more than what I was originally quoted. You would think before giving out a price they would ask about the size. The day they came out my frustrations grew. From the huge ladder falling over and banging into the house, to the hose being left on when they took their lunch break, to the clogged area where the gutter downspout meets the French drain not being cleaned (which I specifically asked about in advance), to the fact my digital irrigation timer and connection was not hooked back up when they were done (meaning my newly installed landscaping didn't get watered until I discovered it was left disconnected). Then when I inspected their work I found the outside of my pool screen enclosure was still filthy. Much to my surprise I was then informed that they do not clean the outside, only the inside. I couldn't help but think how useful this information would have been when I was getting the quote, as I likely wouldn't have requested that service. Now, I want to be clear, they ended up doing the work but it took some assertiveness on my part. The problem then is that the windows I had paid to have cleaned were left filthy due to the order they did the work in. Further inspection of their work has shown several other windows that were not cleaned well at all. The individual that gave me the quote had no interest in giving me some sort of discount due to the lack of appropriate communication. That was the icing on the cake. They had a chance to right their wrong and chose not to. I recommend against this company for your home cleaning needs. read more

To add insult to injury, they refuse to call back to discuss issue or offer any restitution. I wish I had seen some of the other write-ups before because this appears to be their normal operation. In the Raleigh area, we had GREAT service at a more than reasonable price. We were give a quoted $500.00 to power wash our house (it's large and tall based on having a basement). We were also in need of window cleaning of 54 Windows inside and out. We got the whole job done for $475.00. That's less than of what the other vendors were quoting. All of the Windows of wooden slate/grates on them which the workers removed and replaced them back on the Windows after cleaning. Everything looks amazing, we should do this every year or at least every other year. The workers were thorough and professional at all times. This was a big job that well over 4 hours to get it looking great. I was prepared to have the deal sour after they looked at the house but it didn't happen, they just got to work and didn't stop until the job was finished. The worst! After paying to have my windows washed, then coming down on a sunny morning to see the results...It looked like they had barely been cleaned at all! When I called back, they agreed to come back. The morning I was expecting them, they never showed up. Not even a phone call. When I called I was told they got caught up in another job. The only other day I was offered I was not available and was told that there was only a 7 days return period and I was out of luck. When I pressed further, I was told they would get back to me. Had gutter cleaning in Spartanburg County SC today. The guys were 30 minutes late for the appointment, used a leaf blower or pressure washer to spray out the gutters, which blew every bit of the mess all over the ground and porches surrounding the home. They did not clean the highest point of gutters because there is no mess at that corner of the house. And they did not clean up this mess, only lazily blew off the porches, but left everything everywhere and blew some of the mess up on the siding of the home as well. A disastrous and sloppy job they did. They arrived, did this and left all within 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous and an unacceptable job that will require now more cleaning to fix everything they messed up. We have had other companies do this in the past and they have bagged the rot from the gutters instead of flinging it about all over everything down below. The least they could have done is cleaned up what fell. We will not be using this company again and I would advise everyone else not to as well. read more

I had priced out some others, but I got the ad from APS for $159 for 40 windows. So I booked them, when they got out here, they told me I didn't have 20 windows - but actually 65 windows and proceeded to charge me much higher than what the others had quoted when they came out. So they had me on the spot with the whole crew there. They did the work in and out, but didn't do anything beyond a wipe and squeejee. I had dirty windows and there were still big spots after they left. in fact, I had Dragon pressure wash the next day (he's amazing) - and he recleaned all the back windows (without asking) and the spots came off easily! The Columbia SC location -- Not worth your money, time, and effort. Arrived late, left streaks on the windows, and left dirty water stains on our hardwood floors and carpets. The workers ask you to contact them directly if you have any issues or want them to come back out but they are unable to speak English and they never return your text messages. Called the location to schedule a follow-up visit and was told they would be there by 10:30 even though I perfectly clear that my wife had to leave absolutely no later than 11:30. They were a no show, no call. Called the office to express my displeasure and was given the excuse they could come anytime between 10-12 (window) even though I was not told of this window during the scheduling. The office personal didn't like me calling her out on the lack of communication regarding the scheduling window and hung up on me. If you didn't provide valuable information then you should own your mistake and try and correct it. I guess this employee didn't like hearing she was wrong and didn't know how to handle it other than hanging up on me. Tells me all I need to know about their company. read more

RUN AWAY! This company is a joke. I scheduled them for washing the windows inside and out, gutter cleaning, and pressure washing. Started with them showing up 2 hours earlier than the quoted timeframe without calling which was an inconvenience. The guy didn't have a ladder tall enough for my top windows and it was a mess trying to sort that one out because I told him I didn't want the bottom windows washed first only to get drips all over them later from the top windows. He spoke broken English and I couldn't get a hold of the office til hours later. She then said someone could come at the end of the day with the tall ladder... no thanks I don't want you here all day and night. Then after busting my butt clearing off the back deck and prepping the house for the pressure washing, the guy tells me he can't pressure wash my house because they claimed there wasn't enough water pressure from the house for their hose to work (we have completely normal water pressure, it's their equipment that's lacking). After wasting most of my day with their nonsense I paid full price for the gutter cleaning and got nothing else. APS was scheduled to clean our windows inside and out, power wash house and gutter clean starting at 9:00 am and did not show up until 3:00 pm, nor call or answer any of my messages throughout the day. I was told 3 crew members would be here and only 1 guy and 1 women showed. When I reserved appoint. I explained there are plants all around house and they would have to take special care and was told no problem. Now finally here told me they could not do job without destroying most of my plants so left! Unbelievable!! We've had the same service performed for the past 23 years here in Durham's Forest Hills neighborhood without a single incident. Despite several negative reviews decided to give them a chance as they had an almost too good to be true coupon offer and now I realize it's not worth trying to get the best price.
