Extremely disappointing experience. The crew showed up over 3 hours late without notice and immediately tried to upsell me. After the job, I pointed out dirty areas, and they claimed they skipped them to avoid stripping paint -- yet paint had already been stripped from every window on my house. One worker even told me I needed to repaint my whole house when I pointed to a dirty spot on the siding. I wiped it clean with a damp paper towel after they left -- it just hadn't been cleaned. They claimed they wouldn't wash if paint was coming off, yet continued anyway, causing damage to my windows, awning, and even roof shingles. When I contacted Merida to resolve things, she was rude, dismissive, and blamed everything on me, despite photo evidence. I had placed a stop payment on my check hoping we could work things out, but Merida cashed it anyway while still refusing responsibility. I ended up spending hundreds to repair the damage. Poor communication, bad workmanship, and zero accountability. I do not recommend this company. read more

Well where do I start. Scheduled an appt. and they never showed. Didn't realize it was Mother's Day and the weather was iffy so not a big deal but not even so much as a phone call. Called them and shortly after a text from Freddy. After a short call we decided to postpone until the following week. They showed up a few days later at our agreed time. I was a bit concerned as only 2 gentleman arrived. I was told more where in their way. I was having 4 services done. A special that was advertised via a usps mail out. About an hour or so after they arrived Freddy arrived. All was going well until Freddy, who is the owner neglected to pay attention while power washing and spread a bleach wash into my master closet which had an open window. My husband smelled the bleach while in his office and when he went to figure out what it was he slipped on the master bath tile floor that had been soaked through the closet. He ruined hundreds of dollars in items that were folded on my bench seat and floor. Lesson learned I got what a paid for and when i confronted Freddy all he could say was sorry. He was a bit distracted as I could see he was on his blue tooth most of the time. When the work was finished he asked what I thought the damage was valued at. I was more than reasonable and definitely should have paid him nothing especially since I have come more items that he ruined that I never saw that day as it was all folded in a luggage from a trip the prior week. I was desperate to have the work done and went with them in a pinch. He was careless and was so unprofessional. They also neglected to take all the trash from the gutters and when I texted him he proceeded to tell me that it was too much and he didn't know what to do with it . Lesson learned. I got what I paid for.I lost money instead of saving some. I posted this review yesterday and since then I've come across another issue and have reached out to the owners . Don't expect a response since clearly quantity over quality is a priority for this business. read more

DO NOT HIRE THEM!I hired these guys based on a flyer that I got in my mail. They were offering deep discounts. In hindsight, I got what I paid for. They did a pretty bad job and on top of that, they scratched 2 of my windows pretty bad. The guy completely lied and would not accept that he had scratched the windows. I even showed pictures where one can see that the scratch was not there before. The guy still made some excuses about "oh it is from an earlier job", "oh the paint guy scratched it". Completely unprofessional and a bunch of liars. Stay away from these guys! read more

In response to a coupon received in the mail, I had Merida's out to clean the gutters at my home in Wake Forest. Scheduling was done via phone, and I was able to get an appointment within 3 days. The crew was on time. They cleaned the gutters, bagged the debris and flushed the gutters and downspouts to ensure no additional clogs. The whole process took an hour. With the coupon, this was a $99 job... well worth the investment. I recommend Merida's. They did a great job! read more

Did a good job. Had 2 guys come out and were actually early! cleaned outside first then came in. I forget the main guys name, maybe Scotty?, did an very good job. They helping guy, Paul, did an ok job. I think he was relatively new. Both were very nice and easy to work with. Besides one guy doing better than the other, we had a spot on a half circle window that they said they weren't able to remove which was quite disappointing and surprising. Being that it was left over taping glue from the label of the window making company. Still better and lots faster than I could do. read more

Freddy came at 7:40am today. He was very friendly, professional, and got right to work on the gutters. I had an odd request - we have a screened porch that's been filthy since we bought the house. With years of caked-on allergens, we just can't clean it. But, the only way to access it is from inside the house. Before he finished power washing the house, Freddy rang the doorbell & asked if we could remove a screen. He would climb thru the opening & power wash the porch from the inside. It's been collecting yellow pollen and dirt for years. Now that it's clean, we can finish the porch. We were very pleased with the great job he did, and that he took the time to figure out how to grant my unusual request. We will keep his contact information and definitely hire him again! read more

I received a flyer that advertised that they would clean the gutters for $99 "any size house." I made an appointment for yesterday at 3 PM. 4 o'clock rolls around, and nobody has come nor called to tell me they were running late or anything. At about 4:15, I called them and was just told that they would need to reschedule and offered no apologies nor explanation for the fact that nobody showed up or even called. My appointment was rescheduled for the following day (today) at 4:00 pm. Than, at 1:09 pm today, I received a text message stating that they would, instead, be at my home at 2 PM (which was in less than one hour), so I had to drop what I was doing and rush home. I got home at 2:05 to meet them. At 2:17, I received another message that reads, "Actually my manager and his crew visited your home they took a look at it and did not have ladders tall enough to proceed with the job. Im so sorry for the inconvenience if you have any questions or concerns please contact the owner at...(owner's contact info)." Merida's--If your business is cleaning gutters (and windows), and your advertisement says "any sized home," and you claim to be professionals, how In the heck are you not going to have tall enough ladders to reach the gutters of "any sized home"? Ours is a two-story home. One side is higher from the ground than the others, because our home is built into a hill, and we have a finished basement (most underground but for the garage). So the one side with the garage is three stories from the ground-which is why we hire professionals rather than attempt to do it ourselves. But they advertise that they service "any sized house"! In the five years we have lived here, we've never encountered any other gutter cleaning company or contractor who lacks the materials to actually do the job for which they advertise. Unprofessional; seemingly no regard for a customer's or potential customer's time; failed to show up or call for s scheduled appointment with no apology or explanation; changed the re-scheduled appointment time with less than an hour's notice, which disrupted my day significantly, because I had to drop what I was doing and rush home; lack of communication; wasted a lot of my valuable time; and then was unable to even provide the services they advertise. read more

On time, super pleasant - took down all screens, then cleaned with not one streak then replaced screens!!!
