So I did. He took out all the shelves but one and started to remove the panel. I happened to walk by and noticed that one shelf was still in there. So I said in a curious way, "Oh, I thought you would have to take all the shelves out" To which he stopped what he was doing and in a tense tone of voice and a stern facial expression turned to me and said "I have been doing this for 20 years, I will not have you telling me how to do my job. If you cannot sit quietly I will send you to the other room to wait." He could see that I was angry and said "I would say the same thing to my mother" When he continued on with his rant, I simply turned and walked away. It was clear to me that anything coming from me about how you will not tell me where I can go and not go in my own house would only escalate his anger. When I walked away he said "This work relationship is over, I will not work in this environment" and he packed his bags and left. If I could give negative stars, I would. He was rude and condescending. My question was solely based on information he had previously given me. It certainly did not warrant this kind of angry, aggressive behavior. I talked to the dispatcher and he told me I was put on the schedule for Saturday between 10-12. I told him that was fine. Saturday rolled around and no one showed up or called. I called after my time slot multiple times to see what the status was. No one returned my call.
