So pissed I signed this contract. I was told by Jackson who gave me a sales pitch through my nest doorbell that there would be 4 visits for a certain price. I go to cancel and I am told, like everyone else, that it actually was a contract for 9 services and there is an early termination fee of $199!! This is the biggest scam, salesperson will go door to door to convince people to buy their service. Then I signed for the service which included 5 visits in a year. They will charge $169 per visit and will be there at your just for 5 mins. You won't event realize when they left. They do nothing. And after 5 visit they automatically scheduled next visit and when I called them they started telling me it's 2 year contract and charged $199 to terminate it. It is the biggest scam. Somebody should file lawsuit against their malpractices. read more

I have had no issues with this company and I have been using them for over a year. The scheduled appointments are consistent. The people are pleasant and respectful. My main issue is ants on my deck. If I needed them to come out again to spray,my deck an appointment is scheduled and the technician arrives on time. service is great! read more

Their door to door sales people will harass you. They would not allow my wife to tell them no and made advances to enter our home while she was home alone. Their methods are predatory and they ignore your requests for them to leave. read more

I had the worst experience with Aptive. The past two appointments I have had canceled last minute via text message. I also told them when I signed up I could only have appointments on Monday or Fridays. They constantly scheduled me for Wednesday, Thursday or even Tuesday. Terrible service and high pressure sale personnel who come by late on Saturdays and Sundays evenings and don't take N0 for an answer. Paying more than $500/year for them to come and spray a little liquid and leave in less then five mins. Keep sent me text messages to pay my invoice but never call me back to listen to my complaints. Salesperson came to our home on three occasions over two days. We have a "NO SOLICITING" sign clearly posted. Rang the doorbell and then immediately knocked loudly on our glass front door multiple times. We do not appreciate salespeople trespassing on our property and there is clearly posted signage explicitly prohibiting it. read more

The Aptive salesman arrived out of the blue on a segway and was unbelievably pushy. Couldn't get him to stop talking and leave, so I finally had to close the door mid sentence. He made up all this stuff about my neighbors saying yes to his service and what my current providers aren't doing. He doesn't even know who my providers are or what they do, and his assumptions were wrong. Seeing all the poor reviews here from people using his service weakens his arguments all the more. He is over 30mi from my house, and I have no idea why he is seeking customers he can't possibly service. But maybe that's the goal -- collect money and never show up. read more

Rude, pushy sales attempt. I am at home recovering from an illness. However the sales person not only rings bell but continues to bang on the door multiple times. I finally answer and he starts a sales pitch even though I told him I wasn't feeling well. I informed him we have a service we are happy with and he continues the high pressure pitch. When I again repeat I already have the services he is pushing he walks off in a huff without so much as saying another word. read more

Have been with this company for 2 years, and this year has been the worst. The tech shows up and does not work. He was on his phone the entire time and only treated the front door and the basement. I have been trying to get a new tech out and it has been a nightmare. They don't honor the service plan that says if you see bugs after we leave, we will come back at no cost... don't believe the hype! Get someone else to do it. read more

As others have said, an incredibly pushy salesman showed up at my door (riding on a hoverboard no less) saying he has serviced others in the neighborhood, naming incorrect nearby street names in the process, and has signed up "dozens" today. The most important bugs for me were mosquitoes. I specifically requested that service. It was never done. thr service itself is sporadic. Today the tech was thorough and cleaned all spider webs. Usually they don't. I requested the service contract to be cancelled once the year was up. They refused stating I had to call at the end. ( May?). They try to get you to forget so it will automatically be renewed. terrible. I will never use them again. read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. Their service is a scam to get your credit card and charge it as much as possible. They scheduled visits to close together do they then scheduled extra visits to get back on schedule and charged my credit card for them, then took hours on the phone to get a refund. Still not done. I had a scheduled service a week ago. The work order stated that the technician was there for 20 minutes that he sprayed my backyard my front yard my foundation and my fence line. I checked my surveillance cameras. He was only there for six minutes and spray the foundation did not do everything else. He said he did. I called Adaptive and I asked to speak to a manager they said the manager would call me back. It's been a week and the manager never called me back. I checked on the Better Business Bureau website and there accreditation got revoked on 7/10/2023 for bad business. read more

Terrible service. They had a very convincing sales agent sign myself and my neighbors up for the service. I was promised to have a number of issues resolved, which they never achieved. When I addressed this to their tech, he mentioned they only could prevent inside insects, which was never a problem and not why I hired Aptive in the first place. In addition, the techs would show up and leave within 5 minutes of arriving. The cost for these visits were $169.00 each time. When I called Aptive to cancel they indicated I did not meet the minimum visits on the agreement and charged me an additional $180.00 to cancel, which they were unwilling to waive. I spoke to a supervisor and explained my experience. The supervisor responded their was nothing they could do and mentioned I could either pay the $180.00 or they would keep charging me. All I can say is buyer be very very aware of this company. Huge scam. read more

I can not say enough about Aptive; they were so quick to get rid of a hornet's nest over the door and even spray for mosquitos on the same visit. Since then, we have not had any pest problems. They take the time to educate us about the process and answer any questions. I highly recommend their service. read more

Did not trust this company to begin with but they pressured my fiancé into accepting their services. They showed up on our door and did not even knock, the only reason we realized someone was there was through our camera. The tech sprayed for ants which has not made zero difference. The tech also assured my fiancé everything was pet friendly, then proceeded to put rat bait out. The tech told my fiancé that rat bait cannot harm pets and wildlife, which is a flat out lie. If I could give zero stars I would. I received my first service and was told that service would kill initial pests but that my property had to have a second service to take care of eggs that have yet to hatch. During my second service the tech was on my property for 7 minutes (compared to 40 for my first service which should have been identical) and my property cameras never viewed the technician in my front, side, or back yard (90% of the areas to be treated). I contacted customer service and they were supposedly setting up a reservice but a month later-no reservice. So at this point I paid for two services $500 in value and only received one full service which is essentially ineffective since the unhatched eggs were not treated. I contacted two "managers" and have contacted customer service over 10 times to have my membership cancelled and to have a full refund issued. I cannot get anyone to help me with that but get hounded by survey requests and offers to come treat my yard daily. read more
