I tried to be polite and let him down easy, but apparently, he lacks the emotional maturity for door-to-door sales. Horrible company with overly aggressive and disrespectful sales agents who won't take "no" for an answer and then ask if your husband is home when you say you are not interested. I guess they think women can't make the decisions for their home. They also lie about other neighbors who have signed up for services who don't even live in the neighborhood. When the salesman was asked to leave and told that your neighborhood does not allow soliciting, he laughed and said he didn't care. The agent even entered a neighbor's door without asking, which is trespassing! I would never do business with a company with sales agents that behave like this. read more

Called to cancel 14-days before end of contract with no future services scheduled and was told there would be a cancellation fee! HAHA! Then I was told they would lower my price to $70/service and not have to be on a contract. So...they have been screwing me for 2-years now by overcharging?!?!? If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. Originally things were going good in the beginning. I rescheduled my July appointment due to being out of town. I had it scheduled to be July 15th, 2025 between 8am and 12pm. Around 12pm, I called them asking where the representative was for my appointment. They pulled it up and said, "your scheduled for July 18th and we can't send somebody out on a days notice." I read them the text messages that stated my appointment was scheduled for the 15th and they still said it was the 18th. And the end of the day I ended canceling my service with them due to being unhappy. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the lady stated that there wasn't one working today. There should always be a supervisor for when there is an unhappy customer. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them. I actually think I have more bugs using them than I had before. read more

So initially i was told I can cancel anytime. Signed up last April 2024. I noticed In The fall the "techs" were in and out pretty fast. Caught One of them second time. (Always somebody different t would show up and ha e to explain what needed to be done) He said they don't do the lawns in the fall. What? Are you reducing your rate then? Nope. I called to cancel in December. Short story they wanted to reduce the per visit cost to 75 dollars the same as my old company who I went back to. Coweta/Fayette does an excellent job. They agreed to waive the cancellation fee of 199. What? I was told by Dani (female because there's 2 Danny's) I could cancel anytime it's not a binding contract. So they waived it. Yesterday 4-15-25 I get a late notice and if I don't pay it goes to a collection agency. I am mailing it because I'm way too busy to fight a 199 charge. Told them good thing there's social media because I'm about to spread the word! Now here's a good one. One of their sales guys just showed 4-16 trying to sign me up. Are you guys stupid? Very unprofessional! A service appointment was scheduled between 8am -12noon. At 10:45 I called to get an ETA. They stated 45 mins. Upon further investigation it was revealed that Matt the Tech had called at 9 am from an unknown number and didn't leave a message. He was in the area so why not stop by. We were sitting on the porch from 9 am. Everyone knows that voice mails automatically transpose to a visible notification. Matt finally arrive around 1 pm. He did not have shoe covers. I asked him to remove his shoes. In a very nasty condescending tone he stated. " I ain't removing my shoes". Why would he think it's ok to track in the filth of the other homes in my home. He secured shoe covers he sped through service. This is the third time they were late for a service call. I will be getting a new service company. read more

I have used Aptive for over 6 years and they have always done an exceptional job until recently. They cannot seem to fix an ant problem that has escalated and turned my kitchen into a into a nightmare. The service tech has been out 3 times and now they are arguing about letting us out of our contract. Seems their products are no longer working. Would not recommend. read more

We have been using Aptive since around 2020. A few days ago a friend of ours almost fell through our deck because of damage to the wood from carpenter ants. I called Aptive to ask about this and they told us they do not treat for any wood damaging insects, including carpenter ants or termites. I told them why in the hell would anyone run a pest control company if they do not treat for the insects that actually cause damage to a home. Completely useless. The actual service does not work. I seen more bugs and insects after I contracted them. As far as value its terrible, your better off spraying yourself. I was paying 50$ a month for them to come out once a month. Do yourself a favor and don't sign up at all because if you do you'll be stuck paying the 299$ cancelation fee that they tell you about after you sign up.
