Edit to my below Review: Finally received the Dx code asked for my final visit, likely based on the…read morereview that I didn't get it when I previously asked for it. This office is a great option if you are not wanting to bill insurance. Practitioner knowledge and results from my assessment continue to be positive. While I continue to have decent results from the assessment and recommendation of Dr Valenzuela, it was the office experience related to billing that garnered this not so fab review. I was a cash patient recommended to her office by another practitioner. I needed the superbill with the Dx codes on it to submit to my insurance company for reimbursement as this office doesn't work directly with insurance. I have asked for this code on the receipt from my last visit three times now since mid December and received no reply. At one point, I was told by Dr Emily that if I book my appts, the DX code isn't on the superbill, but if she books it, it is. Why is their a "book online" option on their website if she wants to book the appts? Furthermore, I paid her over $400 and am only asking for a Dx code for the last visit. It takes less than 5 minutes to add this to the superbill! Her last reply to me is and I quote. "We are a cash base business, because what we do in our clinic is generally not covered by insurance. So sorry we couldn't be of more help. The best thing I can do in the future is recommend getting an HSA insurance plan. You put money into an account that you can use for services such as mine or your chiropractor and then your insurance premiums are lower. Good luck" The HSA is a great suggestion but not attainable for me at this time. I did end up getting partial reimbursement for the initial visit from my insurance, and I know others who have these services covered by their insurance, they just have to bill and need the Dx code! Not a big ask when you are charging $225 for the initial visit and $90 for follow ups! Sheesh! I have since found another practitioner who does what this office does and does bill insurance and is super easy to work with. As sad as it is for me to give this review, the lack of response from Dr Emily speaks for itself.

I have been seeing Dr. Valenzuela off and on for years for general maintenance and thyroid health…read more(I have Hashimoto's/hypothyroidism). However I had never really honed in on my thyroid health and fertility and wanted to prior to conceiving as I was anxious that it would be impossible to get pregnant due to my diagnosis, or would take longer than most. I also knew that if I was to become pregnant, my risk of miscarriage was much higher. Therefore both my husband and I started to see Emily regularly about 8 months prior to when we wanted to start trying. She took me through the CellCore supplement program where I detoxed from heavy metals, parasites, viruses (all big triggers for autoimmune disease) and more, and additionally worked on my thryoid and adrenals with acupuncture. Within a few months I started to feel huge changes, my skin cleared up, my hair stopped falling out, my brain fog had dissipated and I felt so good and really prepared to try for a baby. The first time we "tried" and weren't even really trying we got pregnant. I honestly was in shock and beyond excited. I am now in my 35th week of pregnancy and been seeing Dr. Valenzuela regularly to ensure baby "stuck" and that baby and I have both remained healthy throughout. I haven't had any tiredness or weird symptoms that most people complain of during pregnancy and I have to credit regular acupuncture treatments with her. Emily has been an endless source of information and made me feel so calm as a first time mom and I highly, highly recommend seeing her for autoimmune problems/thyroid health, infertility/fertility, and anxiety!

My husband and I started seeing Dr. Diane because we were just lethargic all the time even though…read morewe were only in mid 20s. With a combination of diet and supplements, I lost about 10lbs and gained muscles within 3 weeks and that's without exercising. Her product recommendation targeted on certain weak organs and the supplements helped returning them to full maximum working capacity. Suddenly, all other little health issues went away. My favorite is not getting winter allergy and dry skin that cracks and bleeds around my eyes anymore. There were days it looked like I cried blood. Her product prices are quite expensive but she's willing to work with you on choosing the most important, most helpful for your body first. And I believe in her products. For example, her Collagen Max Restore totally helped my nails from chipping but when I ran out and tried Youtheory Collagen, my nails started chipping again. &I love her sinus immune product. Just one night taking it and I usually nip a cold in the bud before I get sick. We also took a trip to Asia, all prepped with her products: enzymes, zypan, silver spray for fresh vegetables, etc. My husband's stomach is not very strong when it comes to Asian food but throughout the trip, he was perfectly fine. We had no problems digesting and enjoying the food, even if it's street food. At the same time, our energy level remained high no matter what activity we were doing. My only "warning" is that being this healthy also means fertile. :D My pregnancy was so easy and baby was born with strong constitution as well. I'm very thankful to Dr. Diane for all she does and who she is when she's having consultation with me too.

This is not a real thing. I was told I had all these health issues and told to buy supplements that…read morecould have caused a lot of problems to my body! Don't waste your money.

After struggling with infertility for 8 years and experiencing a failed IVF cycle, I came to Dr…read more Rubal feeling discouraged and searching for answers. From the very beginning, she truly listened to my concerns and took the time to investigate the root causes affecting my health and fertility. Dr. Rubal quickly identified several underlying conditions, including endometriosis, PCOS, insulin resistance, prediabetes, high cholesterol, and other issues that had gone undiagnosed for years. She recommended a GLP-1 medication as part of my treatment plan, and after just three months, I feel like a completely different person. While I am still on my journey toward pregnancy, I finally feel hopeful because Dr. Rubal is helping me heal the underlying causes rather than simply treating symptoms. She is an exceptional physician with extensive medical knowledge, profound empathy, and a truly compassionate approach to patient care. She listens carefully, communicates clearly, and makes you feel genuinely supported every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. Rubal to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring doctor who truly advocates for her patients.

After several rounds of IVF I was seeking her infertility "expertise" in the hopes of getting some answers surrounding my poor IVF outcomes. Insert a specialist who is familiar with the RE world, my family was super excited to work with her and unfortunately we are extremely disappointed by the outcome. The communication with her office (as other's have mentioned) is scattered and unreliable at best. I had trouble getting directions to complete specific labs in a timely fashion--these labs are cycle dependent and timeliness for completion is crucial. She specifically told me I could reach out to her via the portal with any questions I had, but when I did so--her responses came off as irritated and short, often times not actually responding to my specific question. I would go days and sometimes a week without a response to a simple lab related question. At $500 an hour for an appointment and such a tender subject of unexplained infertility, this feels unacceptable and highly unsupportive. It is also true that she is extremely late for appointments which impacted my husbands ability to attend with me as a source of support. We truly did not feel that she cared about the complexity of my case or us as a family. When I recently addressed my disappointment surrounding communication and attempted to clarify expectations, I was instructed to find another provider who was a "better match" after spending a few thousand dollars on appointments/labs--all which lead absolutely no where. A complete waste of time and finances. I am extremely disappointed and absolutely would not recommend her to anyone I know struggling with prolonged infertility.
