He answered my call and proceeded to try and troubleshoot for about an hour (without even working for us). Such a kind gesture. Following this, Eddie came by to check out our pool and see if he could figure out what was wrong. Turns out our current Pool Guy was treating our pool as chlorine and it had a saltwater system (something I regularly questioned our normal Pool Guy but was routinely dismissed) Eddie and his guys came by a couple of times and completely reset our system. Saving us from having to buy a brand new pool heaters, which we had just bought two years ago. Our pool is now functioning perfectly and looks amazing, and is actually saltwater again. I could not recommend these guys enough! They take pictures and send you updates so you have a photo log of their work. They really are SO worth the call if you are in need to pool service

They were selected by my home warranty to evaluate a claim for a pool pump that stopped working…read more -My pool pump was over 5 years old -Installed according to code -Outside/weather rated pump It stopped working before the heavy rains, and because of the scheduling Aqua Pacific wasn't able to come out until after the storms. So to clarify: the pump broke before the rain, a rain storm prevented them from doing a house call until after the storm. Upon a cursory inspection they said that the pump (again weather rated, installed according to code) looked to be damaged by the rain(?!?) Which it wasn't since it had rained after I started the claim. As if it had never rained in Southern California in the last 5+ years the pump had been installed, lol. He subsequently reported that fault as rain damaged to my home warranty which then denied the claim. I called back and created a new claim, and selected a different provider, who was able work with my home warranty provider to get a new pump. The new company said the pump shouldn't have failed while being outside since it was both weather rated and installed according to code. My home warranty agreed, and I now have a brand new pump. So the only difference was Aqua Pacific vs. a new provider. Do not recommend.

DO NOT use this company for your pool or spa!!!…read more We reached out to them for service for an above ground, ozone hot tub. When we initially discussed and agreed on service, it was made clear and agreed by Sam that this pool is not your typical chlorine tub, we have specific chemicals (that we provide!) that are safer alternatives and work for this hot tub. Sam agreed to use these and NOT his chemicals or chlorine & to let me know when we needed more. I trusted him to handle this and care for the spa - fast forward... it's clear he wasn't showing up or was showing up just to dump a bunch of chlorine into the water and then leaving. The water was all chlorine and nothing else. It was gross, the filters were disgusting and needed changing but it was never communicated that we were out of chemicals or that they needed reordering or that we needed new filters. Furthermore, our water pump is AUDIBLY broken. If he knew anything about a spa, he would have heard that and should have flagged it to us that we need to have it looked at. The water was low as well and, with a hose a few feet away, there is no excuse for this either. There's also a broken handle that was never flagged. I think he saw a hot tub that didn't get regular use and just didn't care to properly service it. I don't know what he has been doing but it is NOT maintenance. We now have to pay an additional person to come in and fix it (very costly at this point) and will be looking for anyone else for service. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! They will not listen or even do the bare minimum. You will have to micromanage and babysit to make sure that they are taking care of your pool/spa correctly. These guys do not communicate and you're better off servicing everything yourself.
