My consultation with Safe Start had been professional and reassuring, so I expected a careful, thorough installation. Instead, my experience with Bobby was rushed, dismissive, and sloppy. He seemed irritated when I asked questions or pointed out safety concerns that needed attention, including cords, power strips, doors, outlets, and furniture. Rather than walking through the home and helping me make informed decisions, he made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. The work had multiple problems. Cord covers were installed awkwardly and incompletely, exposed cords were left behind, outlets were missed, and I had to spend my own time correcting parts of the work after he left. A stair gate was installed in a way that interfered with my bedroom door and banged loudly when opened. Door lock decisions were rushed, and I ended up with products that were hard to use and missed doors that still needed locks. Most upsetting, Bobby damaged my electric fireplace by screwing visible metal L-brackets directly into the top of the mantle. This was an expensive piece of furniture and a focal point in my bedroom. A shelving unit was also anchored off-center. The work felt careless, not professional. I reported the issues to Safe Start Child, which was the company Bobby was working with at the time. Safe Start handled the situation responsibly and fixed everything they could. This review is about Bobby's installation work and how he handled the appointment. I was recently reminded of this experience when a friend was considering babyproofing options, and I felt compelled to leave a review. Parents hire babyproofers because they want expert guidance, safety, and peace of mind. That is not what I experienced with Bobby. I would not recommend him.

But you could also buy childproofing products from them and install them yourselves, or alternatively have them do the installation. I didn't feel pressured in any direction, they simply gave me information and options, and I appreciated that. We picked several products to buy from Baby Proofing Montgomery and had them install some of them. They did an excellent job and their prices were reasonable.
