I had seen the salt chlorinator had a red light and said 'check salt' still after he left I took the water to add-on. They told me I need 240 lb's of salt, chlorine, phos-free and many other chemicals. I immediately texted Kevin the results because he was 'on his way'. Our situation was worse then expected and Pool Bros lived up to their reputation walking us through each problem we had. The filter was broken, water was leaking when we tried to add water, parts were missing, and the cover had a hole. From David who told us exactly what we needed to purchase, to Chris the service tech and Dan who called to explain the situation, Pool Bros are miracle workers. Chris was cool calm and collected through the whole pool opening experience, assuring us it was going to be ok and he did, in fact, open the pool despite the multiple obstacles that he encountered. I have no problem paying for legitimate repairs that are clearly outside a maintenance contract. My problem is paying $3,098 for complete seasonal maintenance, approving additional work they recommended, and still repeatedly being presented with more charges while the underlying issues remain. For anyone considering them, my advice is simple: get every detail in writing and question every additional charge before approving anything. They got me this season. Never again. Stay away.

We put in our hot tub a few years ago, and we hired Erik almost immediately for weekly service. The first year, service was good and we had no complaints other than our weekly service was rarely weekly. As time passed, our rarely used hot tub always had a problem and was never working properly on the random times we were trying to use it. The past year, our weekly service was almost non existent. I texted repeatedly because our water levels seemed to consistently be low. In January, we were told we needed a motor. We purchased a new motor and we were asked to renew our annual contract in April. After expressing concern that no one had been showing up, I was told they had staffing problems and that Erik would show up personally on a weekly basis and would provide proof of service. Erik showed up once two weeks after signing a 6 month contract to let me know we needed a new cover. We paid for the cover in full, and he has never come again. It's my understanding that he is having some personal issues; I tried to be understanding and asked for responses to my texts and actual service calls. Erik never showed up again when he said he would and stopped texting me. We have since had someone else come out to address our hot tub only to be told that we have had a leak for over a year and that some lights have burnt out.
