If I could put less than a one star, I would have rated it less. It was a terrible experience. I had my nails done there and five days later one nail broke off so I went back to have it repaired. The nail polish itself had not held up very well and so I asked that they would repaint the nails while also fixing the one nail. She told me that she was going to charge me $30 which I thought was insane since the issue happened within a week. The lady who was going to do my nails was rude and didn't seem caring or understanding. I can assure you I will not be back. There are other places that are much better. Awful experience. I went to Aqua Spa (instead of my normal place) on a Friday evening because a friend gave it a glowing recommendation. It was quiet when we arrived - again, Friday evening - so they were able to take me right away. I wanted a no chip manicure, including old color taken off (no tips). I believe my manicurist's name was Lydia. Good: - The salon was very clean and they asked me to use hand sanitizer when I arrived, and took my temperature. Bad: - I had only about three minutes to choose a color before someone came along and took the basket from me for another customer. Thankfully I had a good idea of what I wanted before arriving. - One of the UV lights she was using was broken. - She rushed through the manicure, even though the shop was half-empty. It was the least relaxing manicure I've ever received. The hand massage was basically non-existent. I realized after I was home that I missed the fact that she failed to push my cuticles back! - A dissatisfied customer came in while I was there. She was unhappy with the quality of her pedicure from a day or two before and was inquiring about having it redone. The gentleman she spoke to was rather rude. He suggested that she had messed the pedicure up herself after the fact, although she was talking about uneven edges and coverage. Ultimately, he wanted her to pay part of the cost to have it redone, and he was not friendly about it. (She left without remedy, by the way.) - I felt rushed out, and was charged $45 which didn't match what was on the sign. Admittedly, the sign was somewhat hard to understand and I should have asked. - After I had a chance to really look at my nails, I am beyond disappointed. There are two nails with clear brushstrokes visible. The cuticles and edges are uneven and sloppy. (See photos.) - After three days the polish is already chipping away on the sides and at the cuticles. I'm not even going to try to get it fixed after seeing how the other customer was treated. I'm chalking this one up to a loss. After thinking about it, I realized that the friend who recommended Aqua Spa doesn't ever get her nails done. She has probably been there for a special occasion or two, but doesn't get manicures with any regularity. So, that explains the bad recommendation. Needed a pedicure and this happened to be the closest place! I opted for the $25 pedi and for the price i'd definitely say it's worth it! While talking with the lady i realized they have dip powder, and my nails needed done bad! The color selection isn't huge but I was happy they offered dip at all. For $40 my nails are just ok. I probably won't be back, but for being in a crunch it works. **Updated with pictures after 2 weeks. Lovely setting, clean facility, and attentive staff. I walked in for a first time visit at 5:30 pm. without an appointment for a pedicure. I was greeted promptly and was told they could get me right in. There were several having manicures at the time with a total of three techs. Joy was my tech. She worked diligently to cut and file my nails. Though the leg massage was not as long or as deep as I would have liked, it was done well. It was followed by a hot towel placed on my legs prior to polishing. The painting was quick though I'm not sure whether a topcoat was applied at the tip of the nail as I like. The finished product was fine and the checkout was easy. Cost was $28 which is very reasonable. Definitely recommend. read more

No stars. Beware when purchasing a gift card. A gift card was purchased for me, went to use it and found no money was on it and card hadn't been activated. We had the receipt but they said "oh look, the number on the receipt doesn't match the number on gift card. So obviously a card scam. Got your money, you get an unactivated card. Loved my experience here. A pedicure was $25 which is right up my alley. The place was clean and so were the utensils used on me. As soon as I walked in I knew this was a sanitary place. For a Saturday, they were able to take me. They don't take appts Saturday's but walk-ins only. The pedicure was so nice and loved it. The staff were very friendly. Love this place! Only nail salon in the area that I go to. The owners remember my name from when I first came in with my wedding party last year, which means something to me. The prices are reasonable ($12 mani) and the quality is great. They have massage chairs for when you get a pedicure and it is absolutely amazing! One visit and you'll be hooked! read more

Decided to give this place one more chance but not with my finger nails but with a pedicure since my friend wanted to try this place. Me and my friend both received the basic pedicure (only one they offer) I received no chip (I know there's an extra charge) and she received a regular polish on her toes. The ladies rushed through both of our pedicures and on mine she skipped the foot scrub part of mine and when we went to pay my friends was $28. And they charged me $50. I know no chip is more expensive but not $22 more expensive and a piss poor pedicure was not happy with my experience here and after 2 years it is still the same poor service. read more

I walked in and there were three people working. All had clients. I said to the nearest worker "I'd like to make an APPOINTMENT for a pedicure." The nearest person said something to me that I didn't understand then something to another worker in their language. NOBODY came you schedule the appointment. Somebody finally finish a client, checks them out and waves to the next customer. Customer points to me and says "Go ahead and schedule her, I'll wait." Worker waves me back to get a pedicure. I explain AGAIN that I want to "Make An Appointment" so she takes the other customer. Waited AGAIN for somebody, ANYBODY to schedule an appointment. Nobody. I walked out. I was ready to drop $70.00 at this place and THAT is how they treat their customers?? No thank you. I'll take my business and my money elsewhere. read more

Tina at Aqua spa is the greatest. I walk in feeling rough and walk out feeling like a foot model. They have a nice selection of polishes. Although Aqua Spa is clean and appears professional, it seems very few employees know what the heck they're doing. The guy who did my pedicure had very long nails himself, which tickled the bottoms of my feet as he worked. It was so uncomfortable. His "massage" could be compared to a teenager forced to rub his arthritic grandma's feet...it was weak at best. I sat at the dryer for at least a half hour before they were ready to do my manicure. Three different people worked on my nails, and at one point I was asked to get up and move to a different station for no apparent reason. Admittedly, my nails look great, but the experience was weird. With so many nail spas in the area, I don't think I'll be back. read more

I love going to Aqua Spa Nails! The staff is very friendly and attentive and they do a fabulous job on my nails. My favorite is the no chip and I enjoy the selection of colors to choose from. I have gone to this place on and off for the past couple of years. I love Nancy. However, after a recent visit I decided I will pay a few bucks more. Tae, one of the owners, was so rude to me. He didn't say one word while wrapping my nails, after waiting for a few minutes for the nail color basket I got up to look for it. Usually they bring it right after wrapping my nails. SHORT VERSION: --cheap prices, but also cheap outcome --they rush you even when not crowded --mom ended up choosing wrong color b/c they don't label their colors that change with temperature. --made mom's cuticles BLEED when removing gel maiucure --did not shape my nails at all during gel manicure --tried to use broken UV lamp on my gel manicure --obviously inexperienced since they put my hands under UV before any nail polish was on --gel "no chip" mani chipped on 3rd day --don't offer water, which is a big deal when you are stuck longer there due to their mistakes. Came here for my mom and me prior to my wedding b/c it had good reviews online. Prices were also reasonable, but sadly I learned that you get what you pay for. I made an appointment ahead of time, but they still rushed us from the moment we walked in. There is somewhat of a language barrier, but I am used to that and that is NOT why this place is awul. They barely handed us the painted nails to choose a gel color, before taking the colors away. I was holding a possible color in one hand and one of the women came up and without speaking at all, grabbed all the nails and went away. I had to chase her down to tell her I had not made a final decision yet. For my gel manicure, the man doing it put my hands in 2 separate UV lamps BEFORE any nail polish was on. WTF? But it was good he did that b/c one of the lamps was not working, so I was able to tell him to not use that one. Another man came up to me later to reassure me that both lamps were working but the one I thought was broken was older, so it doesn't feel as hot. I looked up if this was true and it might be, but you are supposed to replace the bulbs...so at best, they have old bulbs which may not cure the gel well. Next, the manicurist did not file/shape my nails at all. I had some crooked shaped nails and even after I asked him to fix it, he barely filed a shape--and never asked me what shape I wanted. In the end my nails looked ok (only b/c I kept correcting the process)--but I did get a small chip only 3 days later. My mom did even worse. It was her first gel manicure. They rushed her and she ended up choosing one of those "ombre colors" that changes color with temperature. This was not stated anywhere on the color sample or told to her. Yet they insisted she knew. In the end, they did redo it but it was still a disaster. They made her bleed while removing the first manicure. Then the woman just chose a color for my mom instead of letting her pick--and she chose a bright pastel purple instead of a muted pink-purple like my mom wanted. She was very disappointed and confused by the whole thing. I also got a manicure. I guess that was average, although they didn't evenly shape my big toe nails. But it was not relaxing. I was in there over an hour and never offered water or anything, so I felt super dehydrated at the end. read more

When we showed up at 4pm we were made to wait 20 minutes and only one of us was taken. We decided with their disregard for our appointment time they didn't deserve our business and left. read more

On first appearance this place looks great. Clean atmosphere and nice spa pedicure chairs. I took my neice (12) for a run-of-the-mill manicure. I was cut once by my manicurist and he asked me to stop moving! I didn't move until he cut me and I pulled my hand back. My neice had a different manicurist and after I was cut, I looked over at her and saw that she had been cut- on two different fingers!!! Now, I've gotten manicures for years and have realize this is complete incompetence. Shame on you for being so aggressive!
