Place is great. Staff is very nice and professional. Only issue is seating. Not enough seating for parents. Seems like each student brings two parents and grandparents. Which takes up the extra seating for single parents. Other than that, great place to take your kid. read more

Aqua Tots has developed a very effective system for teaching kids how to swim. They are organized and extremely punctual. My son went for six months with two sessions per week and he is a great swimmer. It is pricy, but definitely worth the investment. read more

I like Aqua-Tots for the most part. The instructors and the ladies at the desk are all very nice, the building is clean and their process is well organized. My biggest gripe is the actual class itself with a ratio of 4 kids to 1 instructor. I knew this going in but had hoped it would be okay considering the limited number of options for nearby swim schools. But in actuality the ratio means that my child spends most of the class sitting on the side of the pool waiting for their turn instead of actually spending time in the water or swimming. There's been classes where I've seen the instructor talk to the kids while she's in the water half the time, more than actually swim with them. There's also been a few times where the teacher has ended the class early and gets everyone out of the pool like 5-6 minutes ahead of time so they can rinse off. Then the teacher talks to each parent about what they did in the water that day. So it's good to get feedback but it also takes out of their swim time. Some instructors keep the kids in the whole 30 minutes then go rinse off but most of them take them out of the water a few minutes early. The prior school we went to had a 2:1 ratio. If the instructor was swimming with one child, the other child would spend that time getting rings in the water and swimming back to put them in a basket, or practicing their kicks while holding on to the side of the pool or treading water, etc. They had the child do SOMETHING instead of just sitting there. It kept one child busy while the other one was learning and the ratio was small enough so that the instructor could keep an eye on both kids and safety was never compromised. The other school also had instructors or staff members who would walk around the pool, paying attention to each class ensuring it was still a safe environment so that no kid was struggling to swim or wander off in the pool. We moved so unfortunately had to leave that place. Overall aqua tots is a good place if you are looking for your child to get used to the basics. This review isn't meant to sound negative but just trying to be honest so that whoever reads this has realistic expectations. I'm not sure how much my kid is actually progressing but will update and possibly add more stars if I can see that the swim classes are helping. read more

Our 5 year old has been coming to Aqua Tots for about 9 months now. If you're looking for a swim school or an extra activity, look no further. All of the staff is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. They love the kiddos! Our kiddo started off at level 3 with no prior swim experience. She has quickly moved up in levels and learned so much. She loves the water. When she first started she was very nervous and hated water in her ears. All of the instructors were patient with her. She loves her all of her coaches. And she doesn't even care about the water in her ears anymore! Destiny the general manager at this location is very professional and extremely kind. We absolutely love Aqua-Tots Rockwall and cannot say enough positive things about them. We started my son at 4 months. He can now hold his breath and roll over for air. Their lessons are top notch. We were at Aqua Tots Rockwall for over a year and all my child learned was to climb out of the pool. We went to a new swim school and they taught her to float on her back within 2 weeks. Do your research before paying money to them every month. The manager was never paying attention to the kids and always on her phone. They don't seem to really care about the children. read more

Yesterday was my sons first trial for swimming lessons. I had called a couple days prior to ask for information and spoke to this polite lady named Briauna. She polity answered all my questions. I later told her I would come by later in the day to check the place out and make my descion. I came by and she once again floored me with her beautiful smile and politely answering all my questions again in person. She offered me a trial run for yesterday. I want to boast about how amazing she handled 3 kids at the same time in the pool. These are 3 and 4 year olds. I'm only giving 4 stars right now because we just signed up and I want to give an overall experience at the end of the lessons in about 8 weeks. Pool was clean. This place specializes in young kids! I know it might be tad bit pricey but so far well worth it. It takes a lot of patience to teach young kidos. More reviews to come.... read more

I would not recommend this place if you have a kid that needs to learn swimming within a year or two. We went here for a year and a half and they would not move her up to the next level to learn how to swim. We had to take her out after a year and half and switch to another swim coach. The other swim coach taught her how to swim across the pool and back float across the pool within two weeks. This place is just a money pit, and they will milk it to the full extent without teaching your kid how to swim. I think they should be sued for the amount of time they take to teach your kid how to swim, if there is a serious incident from the time that you enroll to how long they take to teach actual swimming. And another thing, there is no consistent swim instructors. I think the instructors leave because they are so demoralized to the kind of business that they run. Who the f wants to learn chicken star rocket for six months to a year. They will also tell you that your kid is doing great the whole time that you are there because they know that means it's another month of recurring revenue. read more

I have two children currently enrolled in lessons. I have been impressed with Aqua Tots and staff since we walked in the door. We are always greeted with smiles and hellos. We were very insecure about their first lesson and sat with tears in our eyes watching them struggle with their fear of the water . The workers told us that it was normal since they haven't been exposed to pools before. The teacher comforted us after the lesson and said she would take it slow with them. We are on lesson 8 and both children are jumping in and going under the water with no issues. I highly recommend this program and this location. I have never had a problem rescheduling a lesson. They are very easy to work with and always return my calls when I leave a voicemail. read more

My son was treated like a second class citizen I paid my hard earned money for over a year You would have thought they were doing me a favor Kids in the class are often at different levels With a 30 minutes class and kids in the class afraid of the water or just crying all class long, my son was in the water maybe 5 minutes top at time He spent over 8 months in one level and no progress due to no time at all in the pool When I questioned them that we were not seeing progress and asked them to do a better pairing of kids, you would have thought I was asking them for the moon I would NOT recommend them and was very disappointed. Only reason I stayed with them so long is because of the times they had that matched my work schedule Glad that we now moved and will never have to deal with them I also purchased goggles there and asked a teacher to show me how to properly put them on my son. She looked at me and told me I needed to wait for my son's instructor to do so. And she was just standing there. Hate to bring race into this but african Americans are definitely treated differently than caucasians at this location. read more

Very rude. Poor customer service. Tried to schedule my daughter for trial swim, but she got sick and we didn't want to pass to other children. Tried to call several times, left several messages, but no responded to our messages. When we finally did reach someone, we asked to reschedule but was told that since we were canceling, they would not reschedule. We got into Emler and they were much nicer and easier to deal with. read more

We went to aquatots for well over 2 years and really mostly always had a good experience. The owner was amazing! We stopped last June because we moved and I went to another aquatots. Not every aquatots is the same and the rockwall aquatots is a gem!! Every person is sweet and courteous and friendly. The owner is amazing and aimed to please if I had any concerns. We love Aqua tots! Aqua tots is a top-notch swim school with a wonderful curriculum that fills the classes with activities that the children just love. The instructors keep the classes moving at a very fast paced and the administrative staff is so kind, welcoming, and flexible. I adore the curriculum and instructors and give them both 5 stars! While the school follows the Aqua-Tot model of up to 4 children per class, I personally find that having 4 children in a class really limits the amount of time each child gets to practice each skill in the 30 minute timeframe and think that a max. class size of 3 students would be more appropriate and more of a value based on the price paid. Often times, there would only be 1-2 students per class and my son always made more progress with the smaller class size than he did on the occasions when the classes had 4 students.
