The goats are so adorable and very taken care of, so sweet!

I love the Huddin farm, it's my favorite place to be! I love animals and come for hours just to play with the animals. So taken care of and loved. This family owned business is very special. The owners come around and interact with their customer as well.

Silly little place, so I give yall silly little photos! My boyfriend recently went to this farm to celebrate finishing our spring semester of university. Cutest little place ever! We didn't expect to see some of these cuties here! Animals seem to be well taken care of and staff is up to date with the animals that need a little bit of extra care and attention. Staff-wise, the ones we've had interactions with are very nice and informative! Area is spacious and clean with various activities to do aside from playing with the animals! Restrooms were really clean and came with sinks to you can actually clean off after playing with the animals!

This is such an amazing place! So many sweet animals and activities for young kids. The family who owns this farm took a lot of their time telling us all about their animals and made sure we had an amazing time! These photos are from a Valentine's pop up event, but their regular season opens soon and we can't wait-- we will be back!

What is more adorable than a baby cow?

He especially loved feeding the giraffes and the budgies. One of the budgies flew up on my husband's head and just stayed there. The buffalo was a little scary to him when it decided to take the whole bucket of food and ripped it out of my husband's hand but it was all okay. The grounds are nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and kind. It is a little pricey but when you think of all that goes in to keeping these animals and how educational it is, it is well worth it. We spent 4 hours there and my grandson wants to go back. The park is divided into Front, Middle, Back and North Safari zones so pace your food or the animals in the back will miss out. TIP: buy LOTS of feed. We purchased 4 four-bucket packs and ran out of food! The boys quickly discovered which animals were 'bad boys' (their words) who clamped their jaws on the food bucket and pulled it out of their hands--Zebras and Camels--and which animals had insatiable appetittes-- Ostriches and Llamas! After winding through the safaris, seeing hundreds of beautiful animals and feeding many, we stopped for a walk through the Safari Trading Post. The boys fed a giraffe and Budgies (separate food needed), explored the pond, petted goats and browsed the Safari Trading Post. Despite the Texas heat, many animals were out and actively looking for free food while others soaked in the ponds. Hearing the boys screaming and laughing and seeing their smiles was priceless! A fantastic find--we've already planned another trip!

We thought this would be such a fun place for her and her siblings to visit, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. Annie and Tess were our guides, and I truly cannot say enough great things about them. They took the time to teach us about every single animal we had the pleasure of meeting, allowing us to move at our own pace and really enjoy every moment. I found myself feeling so relaxed and fully present during the experience, and that wouldn't have been possible without their patience and care. They were amazing. Honestly, all of the staff we encountered were so kind and welcoming. The animals were clearly happy and very well taken care of. My kids loved every encounter and even learned a little about how to care for the animals themselves. I actually saw a review complaining about animal poop around the property... but it's a farm. The animals are free-roaming instead of being kept in cages, which honestly made the experience even more special. If someone expects a hospital-grade environment, this probably isn't the place for them. This is a farm with well-loved and well-cared-for farm and exotic animals. I highly recommend bringing yourself, your family, and your kids here. You won't regret it. We already can't wait to come back -- I might even have to celebrate my own birthday here as an adult! Annie and Tess, we loved meeting you both and can't wait until we see you again.

Definitely a hit with the kiddo! We took our 6yo daughter on a Sunday afternoon and she loved it. We saw alligators, capybaras, all sorts of weird fowl, goats, monkeys, a pig, an emu, some zebras (they were far off in an area that wasn't accessible), bears, baboons, roosters, a donkey, a miniature pony, peacocks, and tortoises. Probably the coolest thing outside the baby animal room was the alligator feeding. One of the handlers came out with a bucket of raw chicken and some gator knowledge, and we stood just feet away as these massive gators hissed and jumped and came up out of the water to eat. It was so awesome! In addition to the animals, there was also a small playground with ropes to swing on and climb. On our way out we stopped in the baby animal area and got to hold ferrets, a bearded dragon, two snakes, a baby coati, and a baby alligator. There was also a sweet baby muntjac deer you could pet (but not hold). We took a lot of really fun pictures. It was a great way to end the visit. The only drawback is that the grounds don't seem well-maintained and need mowing and other work. The barns were really dirty and covered in cobwebs. There were giant tortoise turds on the walkway. One of the feeding tubes for the bears was broken. You can tell the place is in need of some repairs. I'm sure it's because all their profits go to the animals and not the facilities. It didn't prevent us from having a great time and we would definitely visit again!

Inspectors say the adult female hyena was being handled in a manner similar to a pet dog, walking in a public area with direct access to guests. The USDA report states the facility allowed members of the public near the animal and directed one guest to stand beside the hyena for a photograph. Federal officials say the hyena then bit through the leash, escaped the handler's control and attacked the guest, causing a severe calf injury that required hospitalization. The violation was labeled "Critical" under federal animal handling regulations. USDA inspectors noted hyenas are powerful wild predators capable of causing serious injury and said public exhibitions must include proper barriers, distancing and handling procedures to protect both the public and the animals. The focused inspection was conducted Dec. 31, 2025, and the report says corrective action was required immediately moving forward. Canton Grand Safari was found to be in violation of their 21 day suspension which was put in place January 2, 2026. Please see attached Official Notice of suspension paperwork attached. We'd been trying to figure out what to do for both kids' birthdays this summer with the no-normal-parties bummer going on. Maybe we could do a masked-up animal show n tell on the back patio...? So I called Cindi (owner of All About Animals) after reading up on her website. She was generally doing online only stuff and was NOT doing birthday parties. I totally understood, I said - we weren't about to have a bunch of kids over right now. But would she do a "private" show n tell for just our 4-person family? She would. Score! Outdoors is too hot for some of the animals during the Texas summer, so we set up inside, with a table for her and 4 chairs facing the table, about 8-10' away. The agreement was she'd be masked up the entire time and so would we. She also left her shoes at the door, which we didn't even ask her to do. The kids loved it. We loved it. It was... just perfect. We picked 10 critters and geared it towards ones we could touch and often hold. The pictures don't show all 10, but dude... it was just awesome. Fun AND highly educational. If you're an animal person AND can be safe and respectful during this time, I HIGHLY recommend this. The kids were immediately asking when the next time Ms Cindi could come over again with her animals. Just... awesome!

However, the person that was texting me was incredibly terrible at her job so I decided not to give them my business. Extremely disappointing. The first message I sent was telling her all what I wanted, listed above ^ (I also asked if any animals had African origins because the bday is Tarzan theme, I tried to look online but not all descriptions had the animals origins) she asked me the date, I sent it to her (June 20) and she didn't respond. I texted again the next day saying "I can have the party early morning since it will be hot around that time of year" out of concern for the animals because I assumed maybe it would be too hot during the day and that's why she didn't respond (still rude) then she sends me a screenshot of my own message, the one where I told her what I wanted & asked to know if any animals were of African origins, just that message. She goes on to apologize and explains she's checking on the dates "sorry wrong person, I am checking the date" but there was no date in that message that she screenshot. The date was sent after that message so that didn't make sense. I say "haha that's okay, thank you" anyway because I really wanted them at my son's birthday party. She says they don't have the train ride and the movie doesn't work during the day then asks me how many snow cones and cotton candy. I respond and say "I could have the party later 5-9 and 40" she then says that the movie isn't available at all and tells me prices including 40 snow cones ($200) and mileage ($500) mind you, I was texting a Dallas number and I am only an hour and a half away from Dallas. But I was willing to pay the $500 fee anyway if I was going to receive the animals, Hairy Gary and the food truck or wagon still so I asked "would it be the food truck or the wagon?" (to provide snow cones and cotton candy) She says "likely just a set up on a table so we don't have to haul an extra trailer" I'd just go buy a snow cone machine if I wanted a simple set up. The prices made no sense, she was short, offering no clear explanation or apology as to why certain things weren't available, she kept changing her reason for not being able to provide what I wanted and never answered the question about the animals origins either. It was incredibly confusing and disheartening. I will not be suggesting them to anyone. I'm giving two stars because at least the options for animals are great, though you might not get much else they offer!
