Before I get into why I'm only rating this place 3 stars I will say that we had a blast. For $306 we rented a private cabana, bought 3 adult tickets and 2 under 4' tickets ( by mistake ) . I didn't realize until after the Etix purchase that junior tickets were for under 4'. However when we got there I was going to upgrade them and the lady just said no big deal, so that was nice . Parking was free and right there at the entrance . Any ride you need a tube for will be provided but we chose to purchase tubes for the wave pool at $5 each . While there aren't a ton of water slides there are enough to keep kids entertained for the entire time we were there , from 10a-5p. On a Thursday and even with several summer camps full of kids the lines were tolerable, never waiting more than 10-15 for a ride, and later in the afternoon when all the camp kids left there was almost no wait for anything . The food was cafeteria style , walk through line and pick what you want fried food and to feed a family of 5 lunch was about $70. Lockers and water came with our cabana rental but there seemed to be plenty available. Overall the cleanliness was good . Here's where the score got lowered . The " lifeguards " are teen angers on a rotation from station to station to prevent fatigue. On the water slides that use tubes or mats the lifeguards working the stations seemed to hate their jobs.... And this was the feeling I got from the time we got there to the time we left. Some were great and personable but others were just miserable . When your height limit for most things is 48" you expect some type of direction or assistance for littler kids . That did not happen. On top of one of the slides a gust of wind blew one of their umbrellas into a group of kids , mine included and the life guard just stood there , I grabbed the umbrella and made sure the kids ( including my 9&12 yo) . She ignored it. They were also letting people go down before making sure the bottom was clear which was causing people to come down on top of eachother. on the " Yankee ripper " which is a slide that goes almost straight down while you're on this heavy sled type thing a kid came down , fell off the sled and got stuck . He was littler and not only was the guard not giving him any direction but he was having a hard time getting the sled full of water off the slide. She was of no assistance at all and seemed quite annoyed..... I've been an EMT FOR 12 years and too see some of these peoples lack of attentiveness who would be charge of saving my child's life in an emergency was disappointing and a little scary. In fact I wouldn't even want some of them near my child in an emergency. If I wasn't so comfortable in my ability to act in an emergent situation this would be a reason for me to never return , kids safety and the safety of visitors should always be a priority. If you're being paid to do a job , do it . Last but not least the sled for the Yankee ripper are far too heavy to carry up that incline for younger kids , they should either up the height restriction or find another solution for carrying the sleds . My husband would also probably want me to mention his disappointment with the aqua saucer .... This was the one thing he really wanted to try lol but he was too tall.

the racer slides almost took my fingers off and i can see the bone now. i was in so much pain and i had to get out of the water because of how painful it was. this has happened multiple times and they have not done anything about this. the paint also got in my skin.

It is amazing better then monkey see monkey do do if you want to see how bad that places is you can see my review on monkey see monkey do and it is not good! The staff is so nice and safe! We loved the water slides, cleanliness, and friendliness of the lifeguards and staff at the waterpark. It was so quiet mid week, we were sometimes the only ones in the baby area. The hotel is clean and affordable for our family; we wanted a space for our baby to sleep while we stayed up, so the Alcove Room was amazing for this purpose! The view from our room is beautiful, and the hotel is quiet. We loved that if we didn't want to go outside into the cold, we didn't have to. Breakfast, coffee, pizza, dinner, and a bar were all a walk away from our room. Housekeeping is great. The hotel has a texting service so if your room needs attention or if you need toiletries/towels, you can text the front desk. I would definitely return midweek for the free water park admission! The staff quickly remedied the situation and we went to a new room on the second floor. Seems all the rooms have a terrace which was nice and our view was beautiful! The second room was not as updated but was clean and smelled fine. There was no loud sound issue which was nice. Occasionally heard kids running but nothing to crazy or late at night. One thing that I didn't like was the wall air conditioning units. Like the last time we were there, it turns off in the middle of the night, ugh! The sheets were kinda scratchy as well. Standard amenities: hair dryer (works well!), iron and ironing board, safe, in room Starbucks coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotions, cable, alarm radio/clock What I like about this hotel is the attached water park and the fun activities they have for the kids. Nightly marshmallow toasting (not a smore! Marshmallow only) and fun things like movie night, pool parties, arcade, and kite making activities. Plenty of parking but far away from the rooms on the left side of the hotel.

Accommodating, helpful and very friendly staff. We bought some fresh oysters down east but hadn't thought of the oyster knife. Well, due to liability issues, they would not allow me to borrow the knife but offered to have the chef shuck them for us (after signing a waiver!.....I hate where our country is, but totally understand!). We listened to live piano to relax us during a raining and "trafficy" day driving from down east and Acadia national park. Just one mile down the road from Walker's point (The Bush compound) I was really hoping that we might run into 'W' and Mrs. but to no avail. The room was well appointed and a corner room with beautiful views of the chanel. Picture commercial lobster boats moored at bouys as the tides rise and fall with the hours going by. A rainy day to start lead to clear skies and a beautiful bluebird sky with white puffy clouds to accent. Breakfast buffet included in the stay along with free bikes to use as guest made our stay complete. I only wish we had more time to spend here at the resort! Huge thanks for making our stay complete and fabulous!! Cheers to you all. Oh, I almost forgot, they have a shuttle that runs out to dock square every half hour. What a blessing.

Cranmore delivered just that and more. Lots of greens and blues where I could work on my skills, try trails with escalating difficulty, and still kick back when I just want to enjoy myself and not be a ball of nerves. I also enjoyed the length and variety of their many trails I could traverse. Was happy to have more options than just a quick up and down in a straight line over a full day of skiing. Their main lift was quick and skiers were able to load efficiently. Lots to look at on the way up. The day of my last visit there were several ski competitions going on just next to the lift so it was fun to watch people competing and see spectators make the trek up to watch as well. Ski patrol were out and about and lots of staff available to check in with as needed. The lodge itself had everything I needed... free cubbies to store your stuff, bench seating to change into your boots, adequate table space both up and downstairs to grab a bite to eat, indoor and outdoor gas fireplaces to huddle by, a bar and hot foods, and best of all... a bathroom at the same level as where you can ski up to so no having to navigate stairs in clunky footwear. Drop off area for skis, quick in and out to purchase tickets, simple walk over to a very large parking area. I can't wait to return when the opportunity arises!

You pay for a ticket but it's unlimited rides for all day. I've been coming for over twenty years now and some things are the same but some things are new and you always enjoy yourself. I found out the train ride isn't running due to repairs of an Italian restaurant so they had to remove the tracks but I was told it will be back, like maybe next year. So you go on a boat ride on the lake, or you take a ride on top of the lake for a breathtaking view on the Sky Ride, go on the merry go round, the Ferris wheel, get wet on the Boston Tea Party. So much to do! The people working here are helpful and friendly. So if you haven't been to Canobie Lake Park in Salem NH, put it on your list to do this summer.

The Taylor Swift cover band they have right now was actually super fun and entertaining. The performer makes for an impressive Taylor Swift! To me the greatest room for improvement here is the photo. It is just not very good and the options are random/spread out. Like you can get chicken tenders at one spot, but then have to go across the park if you want a hot dog. We went with BBQ and while it was pricey, it was not very good.
