Canobie Lake Park is a smaller amusement park that has the cutest vintage vibes. It's a must-visit during the summer. While there aren't a ton of roller coasters, there are plenty of the classic rides - a Ferris wheel, carousel, sky tram, and even a boat ride on the nearby lake. I have so much fun every time I visit. It's about $60 for adults, but they allow reentry and parking is free. The only thing missing at Canobie is vegan options. Aside from fries, dole whip, chips & salsa, and beans or rice, there's not much to eat. A veggie burger or veggie hotdog would be nice!

We got rained out the last couple hours were open but they were super nice to issue us a voucher to come after 5pm. And despite this being a very small amusement park, they really do have something for everyone here, even if you can't do any rides. We managed to even watch a dog show here!

Overflowing garbage throughout the park.

I've always had fond memories of visiting Canobie as a kid, and in recent years I've enjoyed bringing my own family back--up until today. This visit was a disaster. The park was beyond overcrowded, with 1+ hour waits for every ride. It was clearly understaffed across rides and concessions, and the park itself was filthy--bathrooms unkept, grounds littered, and garbage bins overflowing, drawing swarms of yellow jackets. Frankly, it felt like a complete money grab. I paid $236 for what amounted to a miserable day. If you can't manage the crowds, cap daily ticket sales. Instead, it seems you're prioritizing revenue over guest experience. At this point, I feel cheated and wish there were a way to get my money back.

Such a blast! Good for a day of family fun. The park is so nostalgic to my family as we used to visit as kids and now bring our kids. We went last weekend and the park was clean, staff were friendly, most attractions were open despite the rainy weather. There is something to offer for each person in my family regardless of age and ride intensity. We rode untamed for the first time ever and it was really a blast!

I could not give this amusement park anything less than 5 stars in good conscience. Relative ease of entrance. Some traffic, but even on busy days nothing to fume about. Free parking. Opportunities to get a discounted entrance rate abound. If you're with someone hurt or handicapped you get a fast pass band to the front of every line. No need to buy any food or drinks in the park. Super loose policies on what you bring in. Get your hand stamped and come and go. Never a far walk in or out of the park. Lines are standard at the rides on busy days. People cleaning constantly. Bathrooms abound. Fireworks every weekend in the summer over the lake. Fun, fun, fun! Highest recommendation!

I have not been back to Canobie Lake Park in at least 15 years, somethings change and some don't. I can't believe they removed the yellow corkscrew rollercoaster. They still have Yankee Canonball wooden rollercoaster and starblaster and of course added a few new rides and expanded the water park. I love the sky ride and food options seems to be more. Ticket prices are reasonable and I went because of the amazing Taylor Swift tribute and June did not disappoint!

Just wanted to share our park experience. We returned to Screemfest this year for the first time in 8 years and were horribly disappointed. There were four adults in our group ranging from 24 to 56 yrs old. We were cut in line on every single attraction including rides and haunts. We were mostly cut by young teens but also by Mom's with their kids. Only one time out of the 7 or more times was there a staff person in the vicinity of the incidents. The park seemed grossly understaffed which allowed this to continue. We ended up leaving hours earlier than planned because of this. We all had great memories of this park and screemfest but sadly not anymore.

Very clean, well maintained, great for little kids. They don't gouge you with the food and drink prices either. Highly highly recommend.

Ask the Community - Canobie Lake Park

My first time coming to this park. I've seen reviews say to do the water park first. Any reasons why? I thought you would do the dry rides first.

From my experience of doing the rides first, it's because if you don't, there will be no place in the waterpark to sit because all the seats will be taken. On a sunny day, you'll want that prime spot in the shade, and those are very limited.

Can I bring my reusable water bottle into the park?

We brought 4 water bottles and they filled them for free with water and ice at the food places over and over throughout the day

Does anyone know what time is the swimming pool closed?

6:00pm

Is there include the water rider?

There is a section with a water park.

Do they offer flash passes or a pass to go into a faster line if so how much are they?

No they do not

Canobie is especially great because it forgoes the giant corporate feel of most amusement parks namely Six Flags.

I understand the history of this coaster and I'm passionate about the remaining old school woodies…read moreleft in America. They decrease every year and much effort is put into restoring and keeping around those from another era that may be 50+ years old, including this one. But it is still one of the weaker wooden coaster rides in the northeast. There isn't a single amount of air time to be found, even by sitting in the back. Compare that to the Phoenix in PA, which is only 13 feet higher at the top of the lift hill and you hardly stay in your seat. The YC is great for nostalgia but dare I say it, a bit boring overall. It's obviously the best coaster within a half hour of Boston but don't expect some kind of overwhelming experience simply because it is a woodie. Also, the wait times could be improved, they don't seem to be in any kind of rush to get the single train running out of the station. It should never take more than two minutes to get all riders strapped in, yet this seems to be a constant problem overall. Ride it for sentimental reasons that harken back to a different era of trolley parks and lazy Sundays but don't expect the world from this short ride, both in length and height, to blow you away.
