I called another time and specifically said I was calling about euthanasia for my cat, and then when I was answering the ladies questions., She cut me off and said, I'm not trying to cut you off but what do you need from me because I have someone else on the other line. Not very compassionate when I was already upset about possibly having to put my cat down. Then most recently I called to let them know that I couldn't catch my cat for the appointment, and the lady said., OH, weeell... that was an extended appointment so that might have a fee attached. Her snarky tone sounded like I had done something wrong, and I told her it's common for people to not be able to catch some cats who get scared about going to the vet. And I said I didn't know anything about the extended appointment or any fee. She again said in a snarky tone that it's in all the paperwork and all over their website. I just looked on their website, and I see nothing there about a Fee. It may be under one of the line tabs, but that feature is currently not working. she hung up on me when I said something to her about her rudeness, and when I called back and asked if she could have a vet call me back, she said no, that she is not going to have a vet call me over something like this. she also told me that if I wasn't happy there that I should go back to the place where I was going. What secretary is allowed to say no that they aren't going to give a message to the vet?! this lady seems to way overstep her role and I think she loses clients for the business. Look at the other Google reviews that talk about the rude secretaries. This is sad to me because I really liked both vets. They and wonderful and spent good time listening about my pets

We paid $200. because they wanted to check him over even though they got the report from his California Vet. They do have three different vets; the care is not always consistent, and you may not see the same vet each time. They do make last minute appointments available for emergencies, but be aware that you may be waiting a long time - the first time I waited 2 1/2 hours, and I was unaware that I would be waiting that long. Also, they don't have cell service or internet service, so the wait feels even longer. So, bring a book, bring work, bring a pillow and blanket and take a nap - you will need something to pass the time, even with a regular appointment.

My family has brought their animal-people to Countryside for decades now, and my dad and I have made our puppy the newest Dr. Tripp patient. I haven't encountered a single thing that rubbed me wrong. They care and they prove it through their high standard of dedicated care. I didn't feel like human chattel, either. Dr. Tripp still shares stories about my mom bringing the dogs in; they actually get to know you and your pets. So yes, I can confidently recommend the Countryside team.
