I don't know how people can buy a case of water at Costco and carry it back to their house. It makes me tired thinking about it. I love the convenience of having water in your home and not having to buy water bottles. What I love about this company is the quality and taste of the water! It's always crisp and refreshing. The best water out there. Bottled water starts to taste like tap! I never had a problem with the service and the technicians who replace my filters twice a year. The Aqua-Life service vehicle #020 was driving reckless, at high speeds and weaving in and out of traffic on the westbound 210 freeway near the city of Claremont on the afternoon of St. Patrick's day at approximately 3:10pm. The driver of this service vehicle nearly caused two accidents by cutting vehicles off, before illegally crossing into the carpool lane (across the solid lines) and speeding away. California Highway Patrol was notified and the license plate and vehicle information was given. This employee should be terminated. read more

Updated review: they've been pretty consistent and proactive and accommodating and super nice and especially keeping up with my negligence, inability to answer their calls, missed appointments and overall, my tendency to be a pretty non-responsive/non-existent customer that doesn't give the time to deal with their scheduled maintenance and upkeep, answer their questions, etc. yet they continue to be considerate and do their due diligence to make sure my filters are replaced and ensure there are no problems. And price has stayed consistent (at least I think it has, haven't noticed any increases and if there were, must have been an unnoticeable amount) overall, I am happy that they continue to put up with my nonexistent ass so thank you for always being polite and considerate in making sure to include me in your annual upkeep even though I often ignore your calls, forget appointments and/or reschedule, and generally don't respond to any messages. Thank you for not resenting me as a shitty customer or at least not showing it. In that sense, y'all deserve the 5 stars. read more

Water tastes fine. I can't really tell the difference compared to other major brands. But if there's no difference in water quality, shouldn't there be a difference in customer service?? Wait! There is! The customer service here sucks!!!!!! They have a very weird system to make an appointment to change the filters. I received a text message advising me to call the customer center to schedule a service call. I called and they said they would put in the request and someone else will get in touch with me the day before. No one called! I had to call to ask for the time frame and even then, no one had any idea when the tech would come out. I work! I can't wait at home all day, hoping someone would come to change the filters! This is very inconvenient but they have no intention to change their system! Problem #2, they are raising their price. I understand that everything is going up and they need to up their prices too... but 12.51% at once??? seriously???? Is that even legal??????? I called and told them to stop my service. To me, water is water and always will be...but it's the customer service that separates this company from others. I'm confused by all the negative comments because my experience was the total opposite. I moved to Los Angeles from San Francisco 4 years ago and have been using them since after being referred through a friend. I have never had a problem, and I get texts notifying me whenever it's time for a filter change (sometimes even a call!). After scheduling the appt I get a call or text the day before reminding me which I love. They will send a technician to your home, usually an older Korean gentleman. I usually don't speak to the technicians because I don't speak Korean and they speak little English but they are always smiling and do a clean job without any problems. THAT is enough for me. Oh yeah did I mention if you are renting, any service you receive is free?! This is a Korean company and obviously due to the language barrier you may not receive the typical customer service but the water I receive is clean, the price is fair, and they send a technician every 6 months to service their machine for free= Happy Customer! read more

I called this company today about coming out and servicing our system. They do not have record of our house so they cannot do anything. But he did say he can put in a new system but I just need someone to come out and take a look to see what is wrong. Our family has used their water purifying system for approximately 8-10 years. Recently we had a small run-in with the owner of the company over something very trivial but it left a bad taste in our mouths. In short, they had a part installed that was defective and causing a leak. When we called to alert them, their representative claimed, "it is impossible because none of our parts cause leaks." We requested someone take a look anyway. The technician came and left saying, "this problem is not ours, call a plumber." Luckily we called an honest plumber who pointed out the defective part and didn't charge us. So when we called Aqualife again, they finally sent someone who admitted it was their fault. Either way, it was a monumental pain and they were very disgruntled with us (why? i dont know!) When we spoke to the upper management to point out this problem, to the very end he kept protesting saying that this is not their fault nor concern. Poor service? You decide! read more

I needed a water system in my apartment when I moved 6 months ago so I decided to give it a try on Aqualife's water system. Water tastes great - which is probably the main concern for everyone, I personally think it's even better than the water bottle waters. Installation was very quick and solid. Their installation employee showed up very quickly in few days and he was very nice too. Also, they were kind to give me a reminder through a phone call on water filter change. I have been renting AQUA-LIFE water purification system for 4 years. During the years of stay in Los Angeles area I moved 4 times. I was seeking better place and better community area for my children. Few days ago, I moved again, and AQUA-LIFE dispatched a technician for the transfer service with no charge. When I was using Coway, I was asked to pay for transfer service. And also the technicians from AQUA-LIFE have been always nice and looked professional. When the time is coming to replace filters, AQUA-LIFE sends me an email notification until I call to the office for service schedule, and also they call me if I don't contact with them. ok! so I've been using aqualife drinking water system for about 2 years. month ago I recieved a text massage. saying that they are sending a tech to change the water filter cartilage. yesterday i got a call from tech confirming appointment between 9 to 10am. He arrive at 10am. When I open the door he wouldn't come in until i step back about couple of feet. he had a mask on and he didn't get close to any think on his way to my kitchen. he work fast, clean, making shore his tool was put back every time he use one instead of putting in my kitchen floor. when it was time to fill out the invoice & sign it he politely ask for me to get my own pen. he also backed up a feet. we talked in distance for about minute. after the service was done he ask me to open the door for him (so he wouldn't touch my door knob inside of my house). I know that many company can't supply there employees with mask, still there is also fact that they don't even bother with keeping distance so strictly. i don't know if the Aqualife water company had all there tec trained like this because of covirt-19 or if it was just him doing it out of consideration for customer & himself. but i was very touched by his thoughfulness. as far as teast of water i don't knew... "water is water for me" i really can't tell the difference so i have drinking water test gadget thingy to check it. My priorities in choosing any company is - great service, good price and a company I can trust to come into my home on a regular basis. My local family friends mentioned that they had great experience with Aqua Life Water and I called them up. I was pleasantly surprised and now refer Water Purification Systems to my friends myself. We have used their service +8 years. Recently we are having very bad customer service experiences with Aqualife...such as scheduling a simple filter change appointment and even had water leakage! We scheduled a filter change appointment for Monday, and they never showed up. When we called them, they said our appointment is Tuesday, and later they called and it's not until Wednesday. They couldn't even get the scheduling right. After we rec'd the filter change service, we had water leakage under the sink at 6am the following morning. To minimize the cabinet water damage, we called a handyman and fixed the water leakage right away, and reported this to Aqualife at 7am. They asked for photo proofs that we actually had water leakage. Also they insisted that they send a technician to the house to confirm the water leakage actually happened and we are not lying. Why would anyone call them at 7 in the morning to report water leakage if it actually didn't occur? We paid the handyman out of pocket and did not even request for financial reimbursement. All we wanted was them to acknowledge that the water leakage happened so it doesn't happen to other customers, but they are not willing to do that. read more

ATTENTION New York City! Important! There is a company called Aqua life selling water purification systems, they are going door to door, on call, or telemarketing there product. THEY ARE A FAKE, AND A RIPOFF, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! The representatives will talk you into buying a product without mentioning a 180$ yearly maintenance fee, with a 180$ cancellation fee. They try to brainwash people especially senior citizens telling them how they can't survive without their water product, and using waters resources and philosophies in their shameful way. It is a huge marketing lye and scheme! They will attempt to sell you their system without mentioning these things, and sell you a water purification system that they say is better then everything else for over 1500$. For every repair they will add extra charges. THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY. There is no such thing as a warranty for this company (Aqua life). They will bash all water companies and try to make you feel guilty for drinking water from another company. There are many good company's and purification systems. Aqua life's systems breakdown, and again the repairs are very costly aside of what they tell you. In essence; the same purification systems, with the same amount of modifiers and tanks (using reverse osmosis), with better (polite and pleasant) customer service, and good warranties are available online for a quarter of the price (look up reverse osmosis systems on Amazon, reviewed at five stars with filters for a quarter of the price and brand name warranties). These people will charge you for every repair and every visit, they generally have no warranty, Do Not Get Fooled you will regret it. These are Scam Artists who are using Medicaid as there "disguise" reference to sell you there product. They prey on the elderly and communities where English is a second language in order for them to have an easier way to promote their scheme. Their pitch is very catchy and well thought up in order to suck you into their scheme. The owner lye's and is a thief. Their customer service and management is extremely disrespectful and rude. They will not care about your cause's or concerns once they have sold you there system and locked you into a multi-year contract. This is a rotten management with no morality or respect. If they approach your house take their representatives information and file a complaint and tell everyone you know to stay away from them. If you are already a victim and do not have the money to pay and are put into an awkward situation, send the city a letter and go to court for claims. Hopefully there will be many lawsuits the way people are complaining. This should put things highly in your favor. These people are using different languages to have their customers believe and sign their contracts. They do this to clients who cannot read English. They prey on the poor. Hopefully this will catch the city's attention. We are currently working on this as well and doing whatever we can in order to prevent people from falling into this scam.
