I was originally looking for a carpet cleaning service here on yelp and the place I had a coupon for was rated terribly. I then searched for others and Aquaman seemed to have generally the highest ratings and number of ratings. I called and scheduled my appointment for a whole house cleaning and overestimated my house size to get a realistic pricing (8 rooms plus stairs). The service performed was excellent, he made repeated attempts to remove all stains on the carpet and did an excellent job. Even better, at the end of the work he charged the agreed upon price! I researched for days for a carpet cleaning service. Came across a deal on crowd savings for Aquaman. Deal was so good, I was hesitant to believe they can get 4years, 2 kids, and 1 dog full of stains out of my carpets. From the first call, I was blown away by Josh's level of knowledge and professionalism. Showed up the next day on time, and conquered ever stain! Not only did my carpets look amazing, but it smelled fresh. Josh even came back the next day, to spend a little more time on the tougher stains at no additional cost. Great experience! We had an appointment scheduled at 10 AM and were expecting that just like every other service company, they'd be here whenever it was convenient. WRONG! Our cleaner Josh walked up to our door a few minutes early. Josh explained the process, a very high tech and innovative process that no other company in Colorado uses, pretty cool to be able to try this process and see it work wonders. In addition, he was able to treat some troublesome pet stains where our four little puppies had been peeing on for the last 5 years, we thought that area would NEVER be clean but sure enough at the end of the cleaning, even the trouble spots looked great. They were a super bummer. Unfortunately didn't check Yelp first. They demanded full payment up front, which luckily we didn't do, only half. They showed up over 1 day and over 4 hours late full of excuses, and instead of working mostly chatted and laughed. As soon as they were left alone, literally 30 seconds, they left, claiming they got cut, and apparently didn't have band aids, which seems silly as a "legitimate" carpet company wouldn't have a first aid kit? They stole the padding needed to finish job, and left without a trace. This was a commercial job, and left half the stairs with just padding, and the other half bare wood, leaving customers to walk on what looks like a construction zone. And I work with my hands so I shouldn't really comment, but it appeared as though he brought his girlfriend, and from what I could tell, he was teaching her, which is great and all, but from the camera's, she was doing the stapling and the things that require skill, I could hear him teaching her. In a commercial job, in an office building, during office hours, maybe blaring your music and having full personal conversations isn't the way to go. At least we only lost several hundred dollars, instead of the full amount. But boy, disappointing cuz after reading the reviews, they seemed nice enough, so I thought maybe the bad review thing wasn't going to happen to us, but alas, it did. read more

Did a crap job in our living room. They took an estimation of our house and said it would take 45 minutes to clean, got there and were out the door in 25 minutes. The living room was not clean at all. When they left, they said they would return the next day to do it again at no charge. LIES. Tried to contact them but they ran off with our money. Did not even return calls ever and they never returned the next day at the appointment they told us. We tried to reach them but still NO picking up on our calls. Horrible services all around. I would highly NOT recommend this place as they don't do a good job and they neglect, not caring. We used Josh 2 months ago and he did a great job on our carpets, but I contacted him 2 weeks ago to do our stairs, due to grease being tracked in and he set up a day and time and never showed, called and wouldn't return any messages. I read the reviews just now and see this is a problem he has had in the past and I can see he saw and read the message, but still wouldn't respond. I rearranged my furniture and schedule to be home and was going to pay $150 just for a small area and not even a message back. Will move on to someone with better work ethic. read more

A review that's long overdue, but I wouldn't go anywhere else for my cleaning services. I've used them more than once, and had friends do the same. The owner is an incredibly hard working guy, and always courteous and punctual. Seriously, he busts his hump! His own standard for cleanliness is set quite high, and has surpassed our expectations every time so far. He uses only high grade equipment and cleaners/enzymes and really seems to care about his services, even follows up a week or so after to make sure no stains reappear (which he is happy to come fix for free). We live in a high rise condo, which makes professional carpet cleaning more difficult. We've had them cleaned before and were left with stains that didn't come out, and stains that were brought up from the pad underneath. We just moved from California to Colorado and before moving into our house we wanted to get the carpets cleaned. Our dog is very sensitive and have had several allergic reactions to cleaning supplies previously, so I really wanted to find something that would be good for him AND get the carpets cleaned. Josh was very flexible when our closing date got pushed and showed up promptly. The carpets came out amazing, and smelled great too! He even offered to help us patch up some tears so he came back the next day so fix those as well. Great carpet cleaning service. We have our annual cleaning done by them. They are pretty quick and get the job done.

This guy did not wash the carpet he just sprays chemicals on your carpet. $200 for chemicals. The house spells horrible. All that chemical sits in the carpet. I can barely breathe inside my own house. I will have to pay someone else to actually wash the carpet. I feel so stupid for hiring his guy. The guy is not pet friendly as he advertise as he could careless about our pets. Josh is not professional either. He spoke to us in an asshole manner. Saw us suckers and tried to hardball the price after he already quoted us $180. We feel ripped off and now I need find someone to come over and remove the shit he sprayed all over the house. Stay far away from him. There is no cleaning whatsoever. Save your money and febreeze your own carpet. The is no rinsing after he sprayed the carpet. This company is a joke and a waste of money. You can find someone more friendly and knows how to clean carpets. read more

Does very good work, and is very reasonable to work with. I have had my carpets cleaned, area rugs cleaned, and carpeting on my stairs fixed twice now thanks to my dogs chewing them up. The said it was because they didn't have my address in their computer. I had spoken to them the night before to reconfirm, but apparently they didn't write my address and phone number down...again. I would have given them a 2, but I just went down to my freezer. The first time since they were here. They had unplugged it and never plugged it in again!! The original results looked great but they didn't do the carpet in my master bedroom closet and after a couple of days, several spots reappeared in various rooms. I wasn't worried since Josh had made such a big deal about his 100% guarantee so I made an appointment for them to come fix the spots the following weekend. That is when the problems started I had a 10am appointment and they called at 9:30am to say that something had come up so they needed to reschedule. The next time I had an 8am appointment and they called at 8:05 to say that they were running at least an hour late. I had to get to work so had to reschedule again. My appointment was at 10:30am, they called around 10:15 to say they would be 15 minutes late - they finally showed up at 11:15. I showed Josh the spots that reappeared and he immediately got defensive. He told me that his guarantee doesn't cover spots that come back up from the pad or floor underneath so I would have to pay for a new cleaning for that area. He also insisted that the other two areas were new spots where "you must have dropped something" and therefor not covered under the guarantee. He was rude and completely refused to honor the 100% guarantee he made such a big deal about. Also, the stain repellant treatment was completely useless - it hasn't made any difference at all. It was a complete waste of money. I had a Living Social deal so had to pay extra for the treatment in order to qualify for the 100% guarantee - which is refused to honor. Overall, this is a dishonest company and I would strongly advise against using them. read more

I used Aquaman and had them clean a very small living room (10.5'x8'), stairs (16), a landing (4'x6.5'), 3 spot treatments, a master bedroom, hallway, 2 small kids bedrooms, and our main floor tile. 1 lounge chair was moved from the living room, but no other furniture was moved. He is his partner did a good job, and were very fast, but not anything spectacular and the cost was $500+. I have had other carpet cleaning companies in the past do just as good a job at much less cost. Plus, I found the owner, Josh to be somewhat arrogant. DO NOT PURCHASE service via voucher (WeeklyPlus, etc.). Was a no call no show Friday. No voicemail. Was told later that a new assistant failed to notify me of his cancelation. He stated that he had a cash paying job to go to later that day, and that cash customers take priority. (I paid $80 cash.) At the end of the conversation he said he would offer some sort of extra service for the trouble. I let him know we didn't need anything extra, just for him to come as promised again the next day as I missed a day of work. He came on time today and again we were ready. I extended my hand and thanked him for coming. He was irritated as he walked in and told me he needed to look around. He was impolite. He returned and began with disclaimers and to tell me he must charge me for an extra room. I finally asked him to skip one room and stated that I'm not worried about a bunch of guarantees, we just need our carpet cleaned. He became angry and called me hostile, which I was not. He told me maybe he should just get me a refund. I asked that he please provide the service we paid for, or yes, help me get a refund. He told me that I can get the refund myself, he didn't get any money from me, and can refuse service to anyone. He came in here trying to get out of the job and was rude to a very nice and polite woman. If you don't like to use vouchers, don't market your business in this manner! You wasted my time and created craziness for my family this weekend. read more

Josh is a thief, simple as that. He "cleaned" my carpets 5 weeks ago and took a rug with him to deep clean. He still had come returned my rug and every time I manage to get him in the phone, be which is rare, he promised to get it to me in a day or two. This has been going on for 3 weeks. I talked to him again today and said that if my rug was not returned I will be filling a report with the BBB, and look into taking legal action. I tried Aquaman because I bought a Groupon and I read some really good reviews here on Yelp. I was a bit skeptical at first of the great price deal, because I've been disappointed by several other companies in the past that promised stains would be gone. But, I have to say, Josh delivers! There were a few deep pet stains in the carpets and they are gone! I will definitely use Aquaman every time I need my carpets cleaned. read more

If i could choose 0 stars I would. Josh Is not operating a "Professional" carpet cleaning service here. I'm Just going to quickly address a few bulletin points below. - Aquaman Was 1 hour late for appointment and only got a phone call to inform after 30 mins when we called to see where he was. - Once on site he worked for a total of 10 minutes on one room and did not make much of an effort on any of the solid stains. - Talk my girlfriend out of using groupon because quote, "they take 50% of his earnings". - once carpet was "cleaned" for 10 mins, and being late an hour, my girlfriend did not feel comfortable with paying the $75 min fee, even though she saved him 50% of the earning by NOT using groupon. He was then unapologetic and would not even discount the half assed job by $10 to keep a customer happy. - After being late and not offering an apology for delay, he just made excuses instead of accepting responsibility for tardiness. - Once I made phone call to discuss the poor service, All i got was excuses and feeble attempts at trying to justify business costs. Well josh, you may get your minimum fee from customers once. But, repeat customers are what makes a business. Maybe you'll learn something soon and understand that return customers and recommendations are the only path to success. NOT $75 minimum charges on a one bedroom apt job. Hopefully we'll find a real carpet cleaning company now, and try and recover some of our rental deposit. We will be much more through in our search now. This company was a waste of money, a bad experience and zero help. I STRONGLY Urge anyone NOT to use this company. read more
