We have used Resurrection Carpet cleaning twice, but we won't be using them a third time. Our need for a second carpet cleaning arose quickly, as there was a possibility we would be placing our home on the market the following week (we decided not to). We had used Resurrection once before, and this time they were able to come out quickly to perform the cleaning. While on-site, their technician was friendly and professional and helped work with us on the cost of all we needed done in light of the COVID-19 economic environment, which we very much appreciated. This is why I am rating them two stars instead of one. Three days after service, we used our Spot Bot to clear up light drink splatter on a small area of carpet they had cleaned. The attached image shows the outcome of approximately 1-2 minutes of surface cleaning and clearly illustrates the cause of our dissatisfaction. This $180 residential machine produced that much dirt from a section of carpet about 6 inches in diameter. In my opinion, the reason Resurrection Carpet's cleaning is not adequate is that they use a rotary system that scrubs/agitates the carpet, but does not inject and extract water. Contrast this to the RugDoctor you can rent at your local store, which injects a water solution into the carpet, scrubs it, and then extracts the water. I reached out to Resurrection Carpets, as they have a satisfaction guarantee on their website and they sent a follow up e-mail asking for feedback. They responded with one legitimate response to my complaint, but also three inadequate responses and ultimately offered no resolution. 1) They pointed out that this was the second time I had used them, which was curious if I didn't like their service. This was a legitimate response. My wife and I are overseeing numerous home updates and are considering selling our home. During this rush of activity, I completely forget that I had had this complaint when we used their service a few years ago. My mistake. 2) They stated that our carpet is a minimum of 7 years old and that, consequently, dirt has been pushed into the carpet and its padding naturally over time. This would be a legitimate point, except that we must then ask how a $180 device running for about two minutes could extract so much dirt from such a small spot a mere three days after an extensive cleaning from a professional service. We don't expect old carpets to be perfect, but that seems excessive. 3) In response to my comment about their equipment, they highlighted that it is more efficient, certified by the Carpet and Rug Institute, and dries quickly. I suppose if you want efficiency, certified equipment, and a dry time of only a few hours or less, go with their equipment. If you want clean carpets, use something different. 4) They also pointed out that no one would be able to completely clean my carpets. I reiterated to them that I was not expecting perfection from my carpets, but I do expect a professional cleaner to outperform a $180 device. I have learned to research the equipment used by a cleaner and not just go with the Yelp reviews. I suggest using companies that wash the carpets, rather than those that use a rotary brush to scrub them without actually removing the dirt and grime. read more

The previous owner of my home had a dog and a cat and with my little guy (pup) in the house now I knew that was likely going to cause issues. So I had these guys come out yesterday to give us a fresh start with the carpets. I found this company on Yelp as I was searching for someone to come out and clean a room on extremely short notice - Resurrection was able to answer the call. They arrived on time, even though our office building is difficult to get to if you haven't been there before. Eli made no promises for the marks on the carpet but they were able to get up old pet stains from carpet and were kind enough to add on cleaning the extra rooms and hallway and eventually the entire front office. I found this company on Groupon.com There were a couple things not stated on the groupon. There are only 3 appointment times monday-friday only. Booking through their website is not a true indication of available appointment times and third to move everything off the area of carpet you want to be cleaned, they do not move anything. Once I cleared my schedule and mostly everything off the carpet, I made an appointment. They have a texting system connected to an online system to let you know when they are on their way, very nice. Eli has great customer service, very polite. I really like that he did not try to sell upgraded services. He explained what I had paid for and made no promises for the outcome. I am also a pet sitter, I have more stains and traffic than a normal pet home. His machine did a great job on the carpet and high traffic areas.
