The condo we rented was absolutely beautiful. We loved that our deck was positioned so we couldn't see any other people, just the pool and the beach. My fiancé proposed to me on the deck over looking the ocean. The building and resorts were clean. We didn't leave the facility for two days because we didn't want to. This place was horrible, I felt completely unsafe the moment I walked into the building. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Will start with when we got to our unit(107), whoever lives in 108 the door was open and they were smoking weed. It was so strong we could smell it. It was so strong that we could smell it every time we had to bring in our luggage. I do not smoke weed, I never have, but have been around enough people to know what it smells like, I have no problems with people who do, it is your choice, at the same time it is easter weekend and I have my 9yr old and my 5 yr old with us and they both could smell it and kept asking questions. The next issue was the bathroom, I am sorry but this isn't the ghetto they should be able to afford 5 light bulbs that are the same and the air vent, it was screwed into the ceiling tile, I was just shocked. It was also half covered with HVAC tape, I mean how janky is this. There was rust all over the ceiling tile holders and the wall paper was peeling off to. I understand that it gets really humid right off the beach but um you cannot get the wall paper removed? And the shower, was gurgling, come to find out it would do it ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT, even closing the door to the bathroom and the bedroom didn't help. We finally get done bringing in all the luggage for this trip and get to see the rest of the place, we go to the main living area and proceed to see the loft area, we were like oh cool the kids will love this, as we get to the stairs we see a random wooden 2x6 under the step and think that is strange, I step on the step and I feel a shift down and was like woah and I immediately thought to myself, not a good idea and didn't even look upstairs. We sat on the couch to relax and calm down and look around in the living area and we see a hole in the drywall and scratches on the wall near the table from the chairs. We think to ourselves, why is this play so bad what is the problem. We start looking for the door to the patio and we cannot find it, when we do finally find it behind the bed in the second bedroom. we were like why would someone say they have a patio when it isn't easily accessible. We would have to move the bed and the nightstand just to get to the dang door. The best thing about this place was the TV as in it was worth more than anything else in this room. We spent as much time as possible away from this room. The worst part of this WHOLE trip was the place we stayed at. And that says something because I got pulled over by the cops and got a ticket and I do not even care. read more

The selling points for Aquarius is the amazing ocean front views, affordability & friendly staff. This place is dated, though. Sometimes the beds are old & creaky, & the furniture worn down. There is a safe gated lot for your cars & guest reserved parking outside gate. Laundromat, wifi room & bathrooms on bottom floor. Beautiful grounds in back with covered picnic tables & grills. This place is situated as close to the ocean as you can get! So if you don't mind dated furniture & appreciate a bargain- this is your place. read more

We came to this condo thinking that it would be a great vacation rental. Unfortunately, they need to update their parking tag system because the almost towed away our vehicle even though we still had an extra night in the condo. We informed them of a possible mistake about the condominium's parking tag early on, but the man refused to make a correction leading to the impending issue. We don't plan to use this vacation condominium for the future. read more

Stayed here through Airbnb. Place is being painted/renovated as it is a bit old and out dated. Right on beach. Has nice pool area and bbq grills outside. We rented in 7th floor which had great balcony. Condo had all the amenities, though WIFI connection is extremely slow and choppy. We would come back. Has private gated parking lot and access which is really nice. Close to many restaurants and activities. Do your grocery shopping before you come on island at HEB or Walmart. Gym in condo is not really usable...old and out dated equipment. There is Island Fitness gym down the street that is very nice and affordable. read more

We stayed on the 5th floor with a great view of the ocean. We arrived on a Friday following the spring break so it was very mellow and perfect. If there was anyone else on our floor, we did not hear them! And we werent'...that loud. ADVICE! if you like to party and listen to music into the night...do not, do not, do not leave the lights glaring with the doors to the balcony open. We attracted a million of these little hard to kill bugs that we discovered in the morning. They were all over the curtains, ceiling, windows. spent the morning eradicating them. our rental was a one bedroom with a decent sized kitchen, 4 seater glass table, TV room with convertable couch which we didn't use (but it looked as if it had seen its fair chare of drunken booty). Overall the furniture was adequate. Not fancy, not crap. The bed was hard and thin but clean. Kitchen did have everything a typical kitchen would. We cooked 3 nights and ate out one. Used the grills down by the pool which were in good shape. Beach was ok, lots of people sunning and running. Didn't get in the pool but spent a half hour in the luke warm hot tub soaking my stiff back from the bed. I would come back. read more

Room on first floor: The bad: -No internet signal when entered the room -Internet had weak signal even outside. The hallway or near the front desk got good signal but slow like hell, took 30 seconds to load a url link. -TV mounted on wall, 8 feet above the ground. What a joke -Washer & Dryer in the common area which you have to pay The good: -Kitchen had everything. Anyway, don't get fool with the pictures on internet, It's an old place but go for it if it's cheap for you.. Do I want to recommend my friends? Absolutely not. Already told them to stay away from this place. Will go to different place next time. read more

The no guest policy is unrealistic and cuts into everybody's experience. Cable is currently messed up in the front room. If you're reading this looking for spring break don't stay here. However, is a nice facility and secure. Just not spring break material. Hot tub is a definite plus as far as winter months. Spring breakers aim for a place near la copa. 5 of us stayed at a 2bedroom 2 bath condo on the 3rd floor in May 2013 for 3 nights. overall it was fine. it was small, but manageable. the bathrooms were not inside the bedrooms which i liked. one bathroom had a toilet/sink and the other was a full bath. the TV in our room did not work or have a remote..not sure if the TV in the other room worked or not..the TV in the living room worked fine..the living room had way too much furniture in it so we re-arranged it to make it more practical and open feeling..there was a small kitchen with hardly any counter space with a bar and bar stools..there was also a small table with 4 chairs..it was all kinda cramped but we made the best of it..the ocean view was the best part..this place is right on the beach and has a great view..there were patio chairs to enjoy while sitting on the balcony..they seem really anal about the smoking at this place, but we smoked on the patio and just cleaned up and i didnt get any type of extra cleaning fee..the pool and hot tub were nice! there are also BBQ pits outside which were also nice..there is a walkway to the beach but it is not paved so basically ur walking on sand to get to the beach which was fine with us but we are used to walking on a paved deck to the beach..my friend stayed in a 1 bedroom on 3rd floor that was way nicer than ours and bigger since only 1 bedroom..i can tell from looking online that each room looks very different...some are very outdated and some are nicer.. i enjoyed my stay here overall..they only let 1 car park inside the gate and the other had to park outside the gate..the gate codes were kinda annoying but we eventually figured that out..i would consider staying here again if i was going with a small group.. read more
