bottom of the pump where there is no date

Feeling like being pushed aside and treated as if the customer care is trying to get rid of you is never a good thing, especially when done several times. Our 3000 gallons pond has almost all items purchased from Aquascape, including the Aquascape 2 aerators I purchased recently 3 times: even the last time only one aerator worked. Most annoying, recently the Aquascape aquasurge 5000 pump purchased 3 years ago by the previous home owner (who texted me she does not have the receipt anymore as she moved several thousand of miles away - we moved here only 1 year ago) makes a very funny noise: I checked the electrics, the impeller, check valve etc and everything works OK. I have a science background and I am very organised cleaning the skimmer area daily etc, if I could check the motor encased in resin though, I would have checked that too. Even with the very high temperatures we have experienced recently in Illinois, and since we put more water in the pond, the waterfall and water in the skimmer area is very strong, yet when the pump is on, the water drops so the pump is just about covered with water. The customer care mentioned there could be a problem with the pump (after 3 years!!!!!) and the first person pushed me not really answering my questions but asking to fill in the Warranty form on their site. The second person said I should look on the bottom of the pump for the date detailing when the pump was made, as asked by their warranty form, insisting it should be on the bottom on the pump and I need to turn it upside down - I could not find anything and took several pictures of this!!!!!!! The label on the plug attached to the pump has a bar code which you need to scan in case of problems, as it is written on it - they do not even ask for this on their Warranty form!!!! Clearly they make it as difficult as they can, you are wondering why should I continue buying their SAB cleaner, Beneficial bacteria, Aerators etc and now maybe invest in their very expensive Aquasurge 5000 pump since they seem to blame it all on you, the customer, when is not working. Not good, Aquascape.

The burst pipe that aquascapes will not assume responsibility of to repair on them.

If I could put a 0 stars I would. We had aquascapes come and close our koi pond in the fall of 2018 and they charged me $225 (normally $250) to pretty much just pull the pump out of the skimmer box and put it in a bucket. Wow am I in the wrong business. Then just 2 weeks ago had a different company Deb's Bird Ponds (Deb is absolutely awesome and knows her stuff too) come out to open it up and clean it for season. Well as the water got high enough and the pump got turned on to get water to our waterfall, water started gushing out of the ground and not the water fall. We ended up digging a nice wide and deep hole to see what the issue was coming from and the flex-pipe had burst wide open. I called and spoke with 2 people and got the same story: aquascapes is not in the practice of blowing out the lines and haven't for 20 years. So I was told today that aquascapes assumes no responsibility and will not fix it unless I pay for it. Customer service from a "reputable" company here at an all time low. Paid $225 to have someone pull my pump out (which I could have done) if that's all it needed. That's why we hire professionals right? They have now lost another customer for services I will NEED every year at least 2 times a year because they won't adhere to the "customer is right" philosophy of a product and service company.. don't use aquascapes for maintenance work. I'll give you the number to someone who will not gouge you an does the work on your ponds as if it was her own. She is extremely compassionate and you can tell she loves what she does.. So at the end

His process was straightforward and showcased his 25+ years of experience in building and remodeling. Eric guided us in researching and selecting the trim and other items we wanted to replace or upgrade while he managed all aspects of the project. The scheduling was smooth and efficient, and both he and his subcontractors worked incredibly hard. Eric is truly an expert in home construction and remodeling, and we highly recommend Eric Honea Construction.

We liked his work so much that we asked him to rehab the additional apartment in the building that we were going to rent out. He brought the shabby old apartment into the 21st century and we were able to rent it out almost immediately! He did not add on any additional charges and worked with us to stay under budget. If there was any change in the project or unforeseen repairs he consulted us and assured us he would try to stay under budget and he did! He did all the light fixtures, painted the entire apartment, re-grouted the two bathrooms, updated the closets, installed a couple of new appliances all by himself and on time! I don't think it gets better than this. Headache free and totally worth the money.

Execution was perfect, window was ordered to specs and installed in one day. Replacement trim was carefully thought out, primed and ready to paint. Reiner Construction is not least expensive but quality of workmanship is worth it, no surprises and highly dependable. Thank you Jake...Ed and Erik. Well done!

Weather was not on our side throughout the project but his crew labored on, despite the sometimes horrible conditions the crew was always polite and in good spirits. Despite the delays caused by mother nature and the extra time the job took because of them the price of the job didn't change. Daily Jake explained to me what was going on, showed me the progress and explained to me what they were doing and why, I was happy they didn't cut corners and made an extra effort to give me the best work / product possible. They were also extremely conservative with materials, making sure to minimize waste and thus minimize cost, something I haven't seen from contractors I've worked with in the past. In the end I felt like Reiner Construction built my home like they were building it for one of their own family members, the quality, attention to detail and experience was unmatched. I would recommend them to anyone, and will definitely be hiring them again in the spring for my next project their work and work ethic is completely inline with their pricing, they weren't the cheapest bid I got on the job, but I am certain I would not have gotten the quality and peace of mind had I not gone with them. You get what you pay for, and in this case I couldn't be happier.

We recently had a different "fix it" company here for two days. We gave up on them in frustration. They made a lot of errors and were very slow. ***Then we switched to Mr. Handyman and everything turned around for the better.*** Kevin and Ray got more done in half a day than the two other workers accomplished in two days. And Keven and Ray did a much more professional, higher quality job. Our activities included electrical (over 40 switches and outlets replaced!), painting, basement ceiling track replacement, painting and installation of a basement handrail, sump pump work, exterior caulking, and duct replacement and sealing. Their hourly rate might be a little higher than some of their competitors, but their total cost, due to their expertise and work ethic, was far less. I have absolutely zero hesitation recommending this firm.

Superb communication. Great results. Fair price. Would hire again…read more Our project was a subfloor repair in our upstairs bathroom. This meant a demo of wood, demo of tile, new carpentry, new tile, reinstall of a fixture, additional pipe, and new baseboards. We decided (without any pressure for add-ons) to extend the work to the whole bathroom floor instead of just the localized area. So our results feel like not just a repair, but a remodel. Things that stood out: Communication - We felt the main point of contact, Anthony, was clear and helpful through the whole process. This is true of every crew member we interactacted with as well. Questions were answered patiently, things were explained clearly, we new what to expect next, there were no overpromises. Everyone that came into our home was respectful. Our input was sought at appropriate times, and we were shown progress consistently. Execution - Everyone seemed competent and capable of the tasks at hand. The results look good, feel good, and inspire confidence. If there was a mess made, it was promptly cleaned up. If there was a concern, it was handled appropriately. Initially I was a little skeptical of the proposed timeline but after seeing the work in action it made sense and was accurate. I would advise any others to just be ready to communicate a little, and inspect the results at each stage, since there might be use of different crews for one stage or another. It felt like a smooth project overall, with a little touchup at the end. Also, someone cleaned our bathroom sink. Didn't even ask for that!

There were a few items that didn't make it into the original scope of work, and Anthony took care of them without any additional cost. Any change orders I requested were handled professionally and without issue. The project came in on budget and on timeline, and they were also great about offering suggestions and options to help keep costs down. His quote was on the lower end of the others we received, and the quality of work was excellent, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend Anthony and his team.
