Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park is not a "quick stop" zoo -- it's a full-on adventure…read moreday. First of all, this place is massive. You need time, comfy shoes, and realistic expectations because there is SO much ground to cover. Zoo, aquarium, safari park -- it really does feel like three attractions in one. The aquarium section honestly surprised me. That massive prehistoric-looking fish (looked straight out of a dinosaur era) was unreal. Between the giant tanks and the variety of species, it didn't feel like a small add-on -- it felt like a legit aquarium experience inside the zoo. The animal variety is wild. We saw everything from vibrant macaws perched up high greeting guests, to monkeys lounging in the sun, to antelope practically close enough to admire their horns in detail. The white tiger was stunning, and the big cats pacing in their enclosures definitely command your attention. You're not just looking at one or two showcase animals -- there's a LOT here. It's not super polished or ultra-modern like some major metro zoos, but that's kind of the vibe. It feels expansive, a little rugged, very Arizona. More spread out, less theme-park aesthetic. A couple things to note: it can get warm and it's a lot of walking. Food options are typical park-style fare -- nothing I'd go out of my way for. Pricing can add up with admission and extras, so plan accordingly. Overall, a solid four stars. If you're looking for a full day with serious animal variety -- from aquarium tanks to safari species to big cats -- this place delivers. Just come prepared to explore.

I purchased the annual membership and it costs more than the family plan at the Phoenix Zoo. As a stay at home mom, I was looking for things to entertain my daughter during the week. Most of the restaurants and exhibits were closed the days I came by. I purchased a membership so of course I want to come on a day other than Saturday to avoid the huge crowds, but I felt like I couldn't use my membership to its full advantage because it was practically deserted during the week staff/amenity wise. Could only buy a drink/food at one of the food courts at the front of the zoo which was frustrating considering how huge this place is and when it's hot, the rides were closed most of the time (plus they cost extra, even for members), and the giraffe feedings weren't ever available either. I tried multiple days during the week as well and had the same experience. I'm not sure if the little snack shacks & places are open on Saturdays or if they are closed permanently, but there were a ton of unused/unopened spaces that look like they'd be cool... if they were operable. $261.59 felt like a lot to just walk around in dirt to look at animals in an outdated space. Plus only I could take my daughter alone or else we would need to spend an additional $262 for my husband to have a membership. If you have kids 3+, it would be an additional $133 per child! Greeeeeedy if you ask me considering the Phoenix zoo prices. We didn't renew and will make the drive to the Phoenix zoo. The gas money will be worth the much lower membership price over there.

The local franchise owner is very polite but apparently overwhelmed or overworked within her normal job. We have had scoop service for three small dogs. Two weeks ago one of our dogs passed away. I notified the owner of this and told her would pay full price (obviously) for the next day's scoop but after that please only charge for two dogs. No problem right? Until the following week and I get the three dog invoice. I contacted and requested a new bill. After several emails, and seven days, I still don't have a corrected bill and am getting late notices. Today I paid the full amount and canceled service. Too many issues stacked up. Billing, scooping too much rock out of my yard, late or three hours early, not spraying deodorizer. I will say they never left the gate unlocked and always left treats for the dogs.

Which is no big deal, I can lock it if they forget. Their plan is set up so you receive an automated text message when they are going to be in your area to clean up your backyard. It is usually a 2 to 3 hour window of time, which, as we all know in most service industries, is a tad bit frustrating, but they are usually great about letting you know when they are 10 minutes out. With that said, when I know they are coming that day, I try to stay within a five minute range of my home so I can be home to unlock the gate for them. I live in old town Buckeye, and do not leave my back gate unlocked because people like to steal dogs. Yesterday I was told their son was coming between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM. I left my house to go to the bank down the road and planned on grocery shopping at the market down the street. It's like a five minute drive. If I were to receive a text saying they were 10 minutes out, I could make it home within five minutes to unlock the gate for them. While I was back home, I received a text saying the gate was locked. I looked out my front door and nobody was there. I decided to call and I was informed by the owner that her son had attempted to come by and clean up the poop, but the gate was locked. Sarah, the owner, told me that her son did not have service in my area at that time but she would try to get him to come back at the end of their rounds. I told her that was fine. I never heard anything back. I texted again a few hours later to get an update and she asked if they would be able to come first thing in the morning. I usually work 12 hour shifts on the weekends starting at 7 AM, and she asked if he could come by at 8 AM. I told her that was fine and that I would adjust my schedule accordingly to allow him to come in and clean. By 8:40 AM the next day, nobody had shown up. I texted the owner to inform her, to which she replied that her son's alarm did not go off and she asked me how much longer I planned on being at the house. I informed her that I needed to leave and would not be home until about 7 PM. She asked what time I leave the house Sunday morning, to which I replied before 7 AM. She asked me to try again Sunday morning, to which I replied that I would rather not adjust my working hours and come to work late again in case he did not show up again. She offered for him to come Saturday evening, which is frustrating because though I work long hours, the time I am not spending at work, I like to spend with my family. We go out for dinner on weekends. I informed her that I was not impressed with the lack of communication the last few days and wanted to be removed from her route. I asked her to remove my banking information and we could just go separate ways. This is where she became rude and accusatory. She said that it was my fault because her son showed up and I was not available and the gate was locked. I can understand that, but I never received any text message indicating they were nearby or that I was next on the route. Which is some thing they always do. I'm assuming this is due to the fact that the child was not getting service, however, she was blaming me for her son's lack of service. Screenshots are attached. This company has their children working for them, and as a result, there is a lack of accountability on their end. I guess it is to be expected when you have teenagers working for you over the summer months. I shouldn't have to adjust my entire work schedule around a child that decided to sleep in on Saturday morning. Period and I should not be blamed for their lack of adequate service providers when they are running a business that requires adequate cell phone service to successfully function. My suggestion is to look elsewhere. Maybe have your neighborhood kid pick up the dog poop, it's cheaper, and probably just as reliable at this rate. Side note: I did also have an issue with her son the prior cleaning, I went outside while he was cleaning a few weeks ago, and asked if they could move me to weekly rather than biweekly. He told me he would inform his mother. They never showed up the following week. Sarah states that it is because he told her and she forgot, but I am pretty confident that he just simply forgot to tell her and she is taking the fall. Again, gotta love teenagers.
