I had a large tank was leaking so I had to move 2 large cichlids to a smaller temporary tank. He came to my house and took measurements. He knew the urgency of my request due to my fish being in a temporary holding tank... BUT I NEVER HEAD BACK FROM HIM. I tried to call, text, and email for follow up for 2 weeks on a timeframe... no response. After over 2 weeks of no response, I searched more and finally found a tank builder through Aquarium Arts in Mesa, which took another 3+ weeks to actually get a tank made. Never heard from Jeremy during this entire ~6 week process. The lack of response and delay in getting my fish into a new tank caused my huge Blood Parrot to get sick and eventually die, even after taking him to an aquatic vet twice for treatment. Jeremy was simply unresponsive, unreliable, and unprofessional. He had all of my contact info...phone, email, and address. He was at my house. He has no excuse for his lack of response. He likely didn't see the opportunity for the cleaning service as he seems to focus on salt water tanks, so he likely decided to just move on and leave me hanging... this is not a business that cares about customers, referrals, or being professional.

While I don't blame Aquaholics for this, I blame the young man who sold it to us for not educating us about the possibilities because there is no way we would have taken a chance with our boy's life. But like I said, it was a 1 off incident and James, the owner of Aquaholics reached out personally to offer his condolences and help. He treated me like a grieving friend and I appreciate that from him. He has a wonderful shop and is a kind man.

Ashley went above and beyond - she was super patient with us beginners in the field (and our two very excited and vocal children), gave us great advice (advising us to buy a couple of things down the road vs now), offered to order our preferred fish types, and even told us about another store that had some specific hard scape we'd been looking for. Update: I don't always remember to check in when I come here…read morebecause with my two pups it's a whole palaver getting them out/in, but my reviews are consistently five stars! The wonderful Andrea and Toni at reception are such great ambassadors for 4 Paws: always smiling, helpful, and give the true vibe of a well-run and fun place for the dogs. Their bi-weekly "pawties" are such a great day with food and photos, socializing with other dogs while playing, and coming back home all happy and exhausted :) When I go away for more than a couple days I like to call in and ask how my two are doing, because even knowing they're happy and safe my dog mom heart misses them so much. Andrea and Toni will call me if there's anything not routine, for example Mimzy is a little stress bucket so often won't eat the first day: they will assess, add a bit of wet food and everything is all good. On the rare occasion when one of them (Mim usually but Tuck too) may have a loose stool they will call to make sure it's ok to add the wet food or see if there's other options I use at home. The grooming station is visible from the reception so you can watch how the dogs or cats are well taken care of. They have a good selection of toys for sale, doggie biscuits, and some fun cards for all occasions as you come in. 4 Paws is friendly, very well run by the Andrea and Toni team, and the other staff I don't always see as they're 'behind the scene' but I know they too care and love the four-legged guests The ambiance as you enter is either very quiet or as other pups are being dropped off / picked up their furballs and it's a place where laughter and good vibes are plentiful. Oftentimes, we will get good pictures of them at play and enjoying other dogs staying there. When we make reservation for their stay, the people there get so excited - it just really makes us feel good about their care and safety.
