The owner of the store has been very friendly and helpful since day one. He comes with so much knowledge and experience, definitely trust his answers. Used to be my favorite fish store when I lived close to them. Not sure what happened in the last year but it's not like it used to be. Prices have gone through the roof compared to the other stores in town, nobody will help you unless you chase them down, and the fish didn't look great. The store has great selection in fish, some staff (older lady as always friendly) are good, but the majority of the staff really don't thrive to help the customers. They stand around when the Owner is not around and wait for you to approach them. Prices seem to be high on hard corals, mushrooms are way over priced unless they do a BOGO. Reward program is not consistent. Their servicing business blows. It is $150 per cleaning. All they do is scrape some algae and do a water change. As the old sang goes you get get what you pay for... I often thought $150 would go longer in today's economy, apparently I was wrong. I think about why some people don't succeed in life. It's because they don't give a sh*t about other people. They don't care about their stores tanks, or work hard, so why would they go above and beyond to deliver amazing service to you? This is why I give this place a 2, because it's filled with some people that are there just to be there. No enthusiasm, no leadership, just depressed individuals that need some sort of inspiration. If you a barber, chef, or work retail, maid; anything... take pride in your work, help others... do something man! To the Owner, as a business owner...inspect what you i"expect. This is tough enough with increased shipping costs and the environment getting worst. Take pride in your leadership and really understand the kind of product your delivery and hopefully this honest write up helps your business. Pay a little more and get better talent. I love this place, been coming here since 2018 when I had a 55g setup with a snowflake eel, sailfin tang, imperator angel, clown and false Morish idol. Unfortunately my tank caught ich around the same time that I was in a car accident that immobilized me and the whole tank went under. I took a hiatus from the hobby, but I'm back now and currently cycling the same 55g, and have an 11 month old 20g reef tank with a clown pair, ruby red scooter blenny, fire fish, cleaner shrimp, peppermint shrimp, turbos, Red fromia Sea star, toadstool, Duncan coral, Kenya trees and zoanthids. 90% of the tank inhabitants were purchased from aquatic treasures. The hobby is trial and error, so make sure you ask lots of questions. The staff are very knowledgeable but they do have different opinions so I recommend talking to multiple people/doing your research before buying new fish and especially corals. The selection here is brilliant, they can special order for you, they have new stuff weekly, do coral auctions, and the staff will work with you on prices if you're buying multiple things or taking something off their hands. Good prices, friendly and knowledgeable staff! Decided to get into the saltwater fish and coral hobby and I'm glad we have Aquatic Treasures in Vegas. Bought my 20gal RedSea max nano tank with reefsaver rock and live sand and water. Came out to about $1000 which is what you would be paying online so the prices are very competitive. Sunny, Toni, and Josh are very knowledgeable and help you with the process of selecting the right tank for your budget and what you want to accomplish. I.e. Are you doing coral? What type of fish are you into? Setting up and "cycling" your tank. YES, you have to wait about a month and let your tank run before you can put fish and coral in your tank! I have learned hat PATIENCE is key in this hobby!!! Trust me, it's worth it once you see how beautiful your tank can be. The process of getting into the hobby may feel like a lot to consume at first, but they really helped me with everything and now it is a breeze. Post is in regards to the service aspect to the store. I didn't have to opportunity to go inside, but don't plan on it anymore. I hired someone to come clean the fish tank, because I wanted to re-start my aquarium and had out-of town family coming in. I called a week in advance and made sure not to plan anything for that time slot. Next week comes by and no one showed up. I waited..... and waited.... and waited..... Well no one showed up hours after the appointment so I called the store. They said, He is running late. I said, that was ok and to please have him call/text me when he was on his way. They agreed and we hung up. Then 1/2 an hour before the store closed and no guy to help with the tank, I decided to call again. This time the lady gave me his number. I called and no one answered or responded. I came to the conclusion that the prices may be competitive, but it's not worth it when you end up loosing money for taking off time to sit around the house. Especially when I'm a student and have to save up for family dinner expenses & x-mas gifts. In the end, no one called to follow up on my experience or if any one showed up and I now have to look for a new tank person. My family has gone back home, so having that on my check-list never got completed. read more

Spend thousands of dollars on large tank with stand, top of the line lighting, powerhead, hub, heaters. Even made a deal on getting a batch of fish they had placed at a trade show at convention center. But one year later tank started leaking, not their fault, they delivered a replacement tank and I paid delivery fee, no problem. Year later this tank started to leak also, I went in and talked to Sunny as to how that is possible, he stated he would schedule to have somebody come out and look at it and put me in the book. Week later nothing-He was out of town; Another week-he was really busy; two weeks later-still really busy but I am on the list. Two months later I guess they just decided "F" this guy! read more
